Astrid's POV
'Here we go' I thought inwardly as Claire walked
"It's my seat" she was now standing in front of me.
Alastair got up from his chair "Claire, I have asked Astrid to sit beside me" Alastair said to her.
"Alastair" she gave him a pained look.
"I have always sat beside you".
I was about to move when Alastair held my hand. I looked at him.
"Astrid will sit beside me, Claire. And I don't want to repeat myself" Alastair's voice broke no room for argument.
"Claire, you can sit here" Trevon got up and pulled the chair beside Alpha Mike who was still staring at Claire with a confused look. Seraphine walked in.
"What is going on?" She looked around the table.
After that she turned to me "Astrid, Alastair asked you sit beside him. Please sit down" she said to me.
