Nathan’s POV
“Mummy,” the triplets screamed as soon as they saw Nicole and I walk into the room. They jumped off the bed and threw their little arms around her legs. Nicole squatted down and placed a kiss each on their foreheads.
They loved her. Why wouldn’t they? She was an amazing mother. Nicole loved them, there was no doubt about that. I was still furious with her for taking the triplets away from me, their father. It was a selfish move which I did not expect from her, not after everything that we have been through.
The children did not know me, so how could they love me? I have already missed so much of their lives, and Nicole still took them away before I could have a chance to get to know them.
