Nicole’s POV
“What did you say?” my heart drummed inside my chest, as beads of sweet gathered on my forehead.
Luca scratched his neck with an unsure look in his eyes. I glanced at Nathan, desperate for any information at all.
“Luca, can you give us the room?”
Luca nodded and left.
Nathan came closer and took my hand. “Hey, he thinks he has found them. I just need to go check it out to confirm if they are ours,” he said, his eyes twinkling with what I thought was excitement.
“You found our kids?” tears gathered in my eyes.
He nodded severely. “I think so,” he flashed a boyish grin.
I immediately threw my arms around him as I squealed for joy. He laughed, a rich sound that made my head spin, as he wrapped his arms around me.
I haven’t felt this much happiness in such a long time
