NICOLE’S POV Disappointment washed over me like cold water. I uncurled my fingers from Nathan’s as the pain in my heart echoed in my ears. “They are not mine,” I repeated in a pained whimper. What kind of mother loses three of her children all at once? “Are you sure?” Luca asked. I glared at him with tears in her eyes. “What kind of mother do you think I am?
