Chapter 7: The Ice Princess.

"Good Morning!"

Dream goes inside the classroom while greeting everyone inside. Everyone also greeted him back.

It's been a week since the Academy started again. They haven't done much in the school. And this second week, They're supposed to be a invitation from all the club in the Academy.

Today is the start of that. Teacher gave them a time to go to all the classes and invite everyone to their club. So, They're not going to be a lesson this weeks.

"So Dream, What club are you going to join?"

Julius ask Dream. In past few days, They become more closer because of that fight. So Julius is always hang out with Dream.

"I actually don't know yet. I'm thinking of going to the club that really caught my attention"

"How about soccer club? You're pretty good at it."

"I don't think I'm going to join it. I only play it with you guys."

Dream said while smiling. People never thought that he would hear that word from Dream.

"Well, I'm not going to force you. Let's hope we found a club that caught our attention."

Julius go back to his seat. Dream grab his book and started reading. Other people is talking with each other.

There's still 30 minutes left until the senior come and try to recruit them. And the first class they're going to go to is 1-A. It's going to be a long day for them.

'Master! What are you reading?'

Yoga suddenly speak inside his mind.

"I'm reading the theory about magic. I don't have the talent to use magic but, I want to increase the magic inside my body. After all, The more magic a person have, The stronger they will become."

'Master, you want to increase the magic inside your body?'

"Yeah."

Dream is wondering what is Yoga up to right now. She suddenly stop talking inside his mind. Dream let her do anything she wanted for now.

Dream is reading magic theory book. Because he can't use magic, He don't understand what the book saying. But, He still trying to understand it. If he can understand how to increase your magic energy, He can do 'Body Strengthening Magic'.

It's really strong if people can use it properly. Body strengthening is using the magic inside your body and making your body stronger. It can increase your power, speed and stamina. So it really useful for fighter.

"I can't understand what is written in this!"

Dream started to get pissed at the book. He scratch his head furiously to let out his rage. People is surprised seeing his action.

Jasmine who is confused at Dream, walked toward him and ask him.

"What are you reading?"

"Ah? Jasmine. I'm reading magic theory. I want to increase the amount of magic energy in my body. In any chance, Do you know how?"

Dream explain the situation he's in quickly to Jasmine.

"Ah, I know how. I do have talent for magic."

"Really? That's awesome. So how do you increase it?"

Jasmine go back to her desk and grab her seat. She go back to Dream and sat in front of his table.

"So, How to increase the magic power inside your body. It's easy. Dream, you know that blood is pumping from your heart through your whole body right?"

"Yes. I know that."

"So, Same for magic. Magic flow from the core of your body, Flow into all of your body. And that's how you know you have magic or not. Try it. If you have magic, At least you can do what you wanted to do."

Dream doesn't know if he have magic power or not. He just assumed he does. So He do what Jasmine told him to do. Feel the magic flowing from his core. It's easy to do for Dream.

Dream, Close his eyes and ignore all voices. He then feel the blood pumping from his heart. He ignored it. He moved down from there. He sees the light inside his own body. A blue light is flowing from there to his whole body. Instantly, He recognize that as a magic power.

"So, How is the result?"

Jasmine ask Dream. She know that Dream already found the answer.

"I have magic power at least."

"Alright that's great. So, The way you increase it by letting all of your magic out. And After that, Take more magic from the air. That's what my master said at least. I can't do that because I don't understand what he's talking about. So I stick to the normal method. I just practice increasing the amount of magic power I can take by practicing."

Dream more or less understand what she's saying.

"Thank you. I will keep that in mind."

"No worries!"

Then the bell rang. Jasmine go back to her desk and then they wait for the Senior to come to their class.

'I understand what her master trying to do there.'

Dream thought about what Jasmine master is trying to say to her.

So, While waiting the senior to come, Dream decided to try what Jasmine said. He go to his core again and let all the magic out. There's no changes on his body.

Dream now know what magic feels like. So He focus on the magic energy in the air. He sucked the magic from the air to himself. He suck more than he let out before. Instantly, He feel sudden change on his core.

'It hurt!' Dream thought. But, He endure the pain then, The pain is gone.

"So that's what her teacher meant huh. After the pain is gone, I can feel that my magic is increasing."

Dream said to himself. He's sweating heavily. He doesn't want to feel that kind of pain again. So he thought to himself to increase his magic power by practicing.

Finally, The first club come in. They are breathing heavily. It's like they were running to get here first.

"Hey! I'm from Sword Practice Club. Do any of you want to join our club?!"

Said the senior while looking really tired. Some of Dream classmates immediately put their hands up.

"Ah, Please write your name here!"

The senior immediately went to the person who is putting their hands up.

"Thank you. I hope you like our Club!"

The senior immediately went to another class.

Club after club came. Dream, doesn't feel anything when they presenting their club. Until, One particular person came.

She have an aura of that a strong person. Everyone notice that aura. She has a light blue hair and the same color for her eyes. She had a calm face and smile on her face.

"Hello. My name is Eis Glatzier. I'm the student council president on the Million Years Academy."

She introduced herself to the whole class. Immediately, Students muttered. 'It's the Ice Princess.' 'Looking up close, She's really pretty!'

Dream thought to himself.

'So she's the student council president huh. She's supposedly the strongest student on the whole academy.'

Dream remember that Elaine is praising her as the pride of the academy.

Then, Eis started talking again.

"Is Dream Enpierce and Lily Woodrow here?"

She said Dream and Lily name. Everyone immediately looked at both of them. Dream and Lily raise their hand.

"Oh great. Do you guys want to join the Student council?"

Everyone shocked hearing that. Dream and Lily look at each other.

"Can I ask what are the job of the Student Council?"

Dream asked. Eis smiled at him and started talking again.

"So, Our job is to observe the situation of the students in this Academy. We also give students advice to make them stronger. Essentially, We guide students to the correct path and protect the school."

'Interesting...' Dream thought.

"I will join."

Lily said. Dream take a deep breath. He wish that this is a correct choice for him.

"I will also join."

Eis smiled hearing that answers.

"Then, let's have a meeting after school. I wish all of you a good day."

She went out. The students congratulate both Dream and Lily. It's like they don't believe that Dream and Lily is getting invited straight from the Ice Princess Herself.

After school, Both Dream and Lily went up stairs to meet with Eis. They knocked on the door of the Student Council Room.

"Come in!"

A calm and soft voice can be heard from inside.

"Excuse us."

Lily went inside first. They were greeted by all the member of the student council.

Both of them is guided to sit down on the table.

"So you guys are the new students? My name is Sylvie Amidis! I'm the Secretary. Nice to meet you Dream and Lily!"

The girl with a black short hair with a green eyes.

"Ah, My name is July Reas. I'm the treasurer!"

Girl with a blonde ponytail and blue eyes is the treasurer.

"Ah yes Nice to meet both of you. Where is the vice president?"

Lily ask the people there.

"Ah, The Vice president is currently on another country. Miss Elaine sent him to study there."

July said. Hearing that Dream and Lily lose their interest immediately. They don't want to ask anymore question about that.

"First of all, Thank you for joining the Student Council. I hope you won't quit and keep on our tradition."

Eis said. All of them is sitting around the table. Sylvie brew them tea.

"Here you go."

"Ah thank you!"

They started drinking the tea. Silent fill the room. It felt awkward in there. They don't know how to act in front of the Student council.

Suddenly, The door slammed. Breaking the silence in the air.

"Sorry! I'm kinda late!"

Elaine comes in. Dream and Lily doesn't even feel shocked when seeing Elaine.

"Don't worry miss. We also just sitting here chilling!"

Eis said while smiling.

"Then, Let's go for the test then!"

Dream and Lily doesn't know what she meant by test. So they only follow them around. They went to the Gymnasium and Lock the door.

Dream and Lily felt there's something wrong. So they immediately jumped away from the group and hold their weapon.

Eis is standing with an Ice sword on her hand.

"What are we doing here?"

Dream ask while looking at Elaine.

"You know, Eis wanted to fight both of you. So can both of you fight her?"

Dream and Lily look at each other.

"Alright miss. We also want to fight President Eis. So, It's an honor to fight her!"

Lily said. Both of them charged at Eis immediately. With a great harmony, Both Dream and Lily use the same footwork to reach Eis instantly.

Eis is surprised seeing their movement. She stab her Ice sword to the ground. Lily noticed the effect and Jump to Dream. Dream noticed her intention and Let her launch from his back.

The Ground freeze. Dream shoes is frozen in place. Dream, Let his feet out from his shoes and Jump. He uses the Halberd as a step to jump even higher.

"Recall!"

He called back his Halberd and jumped toward Eis along with Lily.

"Lily Style: Blade Dance!"

Lily from the get go, Get serious. She is slashing her sword. Eis, Raise her sword and exchanging blow with Lily Sword Dance.

But, Lily sword broke after exchanging blow with Eis Ice Sword. So she had no choice but to retreat. As she jumped back to get some distance, Eis is chasing her. Eis sword is almost touch Lily body. Then, Dream immediately block her Ice Sword. He block Eis Ice Sword down. Eis immediately s***h the Halberd into half.

"Damn it!"

Without their weapon, They can't get close to Eis. Using Martial arts will mean suicide when fighting Eis. She can froze everything on her path. So, They can only retreat.

Eis, thrust her sword toward Dream. Dream immediately crouched down to evade it. Then he dashed back. But Slip mid way.

"Oh no! This is bad!"

She swing her sword down toward Dream. Dream, doesn't want to go down like this. So He grab Eis Ice sword with his bare hand. Which makes Everyone shocked. His hand immediately freeze. The cut that the sword make, The blood that supposed to gushing out Is frozen because of her Ice Sword.

Dream grind his teeth trying to held the pain. Eis try to grab her sword from Dream hand. But Dream won't let her sword Go.

"LILY!"

Dream called for Lily help. And Lily delivered.

She instantly come behind Eis and held her hand at Eis Back.

Eis panicked and swing her sword. Cutting Dream hand. Lily evade it that swing.

"The moment you took your eyes off one of us, You lost."

Lily said. Eis noticed That Dream is still behind her. Dream slide his leg toward Eis Leg. The Ground is so slippery that she immediately fall. Lily immediately grab her hand and hold her in place. Dream Kick her Sword far away.

"It's my lost!"

Eis Said with a voice loud and clear. The Ice on the Gymnasium melt instantly. Dream hand immediately started Gushing Blood.

"AGH!"

He hold his hand as hard as his could. Stopping the bleeding from his hand.

"Dream!"

Lily panicked and run toward Dream.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm okay..."

He grind his teeth even harder. Lily forgot about everyone here and try to went outside. But The door is locked.

"Wait a minute Lily, Dream."

Elaine called them out.

"Ah! I forgot miss Elaine is here!"

Lily said. She bring Dream toward her.

"Here. Give me your hand"

Dream gave Elaine his hand. Elaine pour a potion on his wound and it's instantly closed.

"Good work defeating Eis. I'm surprised you went that far. I won't be mad if you lose you know?"

Elaine said to calm them down.

"Miss, If I'm afraid to lose, There's no way that I can win. For Me, Every fight is a battle of life and death. I would rather Die trying than Win without doing anything."

Everyone shocked hearing Dream said that. Lily is also feel that way.

"Don't underestimate us miss. You said it yourself. We are the foundation for the future generation right? We will do anything to protect everyone around us. Even if it's cost our lives. We Won't falter. If we save even one live, It's worth it getting hurt you know..."

Both Lily and Dream surprised the entire Student Council with their conviction. Suddenly, The respect for them is increasing. They thought that they are just a strong teenager that Elaine invited. But they're more than that.

"Is that so? Sorry for treating you that way then."

Elaine said. She doesn't expect that Dream and Lily will take this seriously.

"Well then. I've heard your conviction. I won't interfere with everything you do. And with that, I will lift the ban on the use of the Sins and Virtues series."

Dream and Lily doesn't expect that Elaine will lift the ban. More over, She said it in front of everyone.

"Don't worry about them. They're the person that I trusted. So You can feel easy talking about that to them"

Elaine stated. That make Dream and Lily calm. And Because the ban is lifted, They can started using Yoga and Gava for fighting.

"Thank you miss!"

"Let's go back!"

Eis suddenly come and said that. All of them smiled toward each other and go back to the dorm. With that, Their first day on the student council is over.

"Yoga, Come out!"

'! AYE!'

Yoga is surprised when hearing her master calling her out. She take a form of a young girl with a maid outfit

"So... What are those clothes?"

"Isn't this what they use to serve their master?"

"Yeah..."

Dream is surprised seeing Yoga wearing a maid uniform.

"Alright then, I will let you round free around my room. I will get you inside my body when the School started. Is that okay?"

"Anything you want master!"

She is really an energetic girl. Dream went to take a bath while Yoga is looking around his room. Dream went back outside after bathe. They both went to sleep together. It's like a brother is sleeping with his little sister.

"Julius, How is the Martial arts club?"

Dream ask to Julius. They're sitting near each other in the classroom.

"Not bad actually. I really like it there. They all so nice and strong. How about you?"

"Oh It's actually pretty good. President Eis is really strong. Both Lily and I almost get defeated by her alone. I bet if she got serious, Both of us doesn't have any chance of winning. It's pretty scary."

"Really? We shouldn't mess with her."

"Yeah. I think that's a good idea. If you don't want to become an Ice statue, You better respect her."

They started joking about the power of Eis. The bell rang.

"Oh That's the bell. Talk to you later!"

Julius went back to his desk. Elaine comes in to the classroom with a book.

"Alright Student, Forgive me. We can't practice today because it's raining. So we're just going to learn something really fun! This is a thing that you learn at Year 2. But for you, I'm going to teach all of you the basics."

Everyone immediately wondering what is she talking about. She doesn't even said a single clue about it.

"So, Everyone probably wondering. Miss Elaine, What are you talking about? Let me tell you a thing. Does anyone knows exactly what would you doing in the future?"

Everyone started thinking. They don't know what is Elaine talking about.

"You know, When I was at your age. I want to be a singer. I never think that I would be one of the Protector. I'm what you can say a perfect singer. But, Fate has its own ways. Somehow, my power let me go to a higher place. Now! Do you know what are you going to be in the future?"

Dream raise his hand.

"We don't know. After hearing your story, I'm afraid that Fate wouldn't let us do what ever we want. The Gear of fate started to broken. The Legendary disaster. The Chaos along with his follower. The 10 Bringer. Is going to bring destruction to this world. And We. The Future generation of Protector. Need to keep that from happening."

Everyone went silence. Most of them doesn't know what is Dream talking about. But, They seems to understand what is he talking about.

"Yes Dream. You are correct. So, What I want to talk about that only 2nd Year students and 3rd Year students. What I told them is that You should think about your future from now. Become what you want to be. Break that gear of fate. Make your own fate. Before it was too late. Do you understand?"

"Understand Miss"

People think that it was have a deep meaning. She wanted people to live how they want. Not tied with any bullshit.

"Now, I get that thing out of the way early. Let's play some games now."

"OOO!"

People immediately get their spirit back. In the end, It get so heated that Elaine have to step in to stop the game.

"Yoga!"

"Gava!"

Both A young girl and a man appear in front of the Student Council.

They are in the Gymnasium.  They were curious about the power of Yoga and Gava. They were surprised seeing the form of Yoga and Gava.

"Yoga, Halberd of Ira."

"Aye Master!"

Yoga turned into a black mist and come into Dream hand. He grab the mist and the mist dispersed and become a black Halberd.

Everyone is staring at Dream. Waiting to demonstrate the power of Halberd of Ira.

Elaine activate the strongest Barrier that she currently have. She told Dream to let everything he have.

Dream held the Halberd of Ira by the tip of the handle. Dream Aura started to become heavier. They feel that Magic energy in the air is getting absorbed by Dream.

"Body Strengthening."

Dream use the magic inside his body and focused it on his arm. Making his right arm stronger.

"Dream Ultimate: Sky Eater!"

Dream halberd, Strike the Barrier that Elaine put up. In just one strike. The Barrier Shattered. But, Price has to be paid. Because he use that technique, His right arm shattered. Even with his Body Strengthening, His arm couldn't take the impact of the Sky Eater.

"Urgh!"

Dream let out the Halberd of Ira. He can't feel anything other than Pain on his right arm.

Yoga turned back from Halberd of Ira to a young girl.

"Master! Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Don't worry about it."

Elaine walk toward Dream with a high quality potion.

"Dream! Drink this."

She handed the potion to Dream. Dream grabbed it and immediately drink the potion.

He chugged it with all of his might. He try to fight through the bitterness of a high quality potion. Immediately, His arm healed.

"Lily, You're up!"

Elaine call Lily to the Barrier. Both Dream and Elaine go outside the barrier and regroup with the rest of Student Council.

"Good work Dream. As I thought, You are very strong."

Eis said to Dream. Dream immediately let out a troubled smile.

They turned their sight toward Lily and Gava.

"Gava. Katana of Temperantia."

"Understood!"

Gava politely answer Lily. He turned into a white mist. Then she grabbed it. The Mist turned into a white Katana.

"Then Everyone. Witness the power of me and Gava!"

Lily take her stance. She held the Katana of Temperantia up. She close her eyes. She connect herself with Katana of Temperantia. Without waiting too long, She immediately s***h the Barrier down.

"Lily Original: Half Moon s***h"

She calmly stated her technique name.

Dream immediately went to Lily place.

"Good work Lily. How are you feeling?"

"I'm great. Not like you, My technique doesn't need a sacrifice for a strong power."

Lily said to Dream.

"Well that's great for you. In the future, I will use Sky Eater without worrying about the consequences."

"Hahaha, I will wait for that day."

They went back to the Dorm. Elaine still doesn't believe the power of Yoga and Gava. Suddenly she felt relieved that she gave them to Dream and Lily.
