Chapter 6: New Academy Life.

Finally, After the mess with Newton, The Academy finally started. Dream and Lily both get a class 1-A. The highest ranked class on the academy. After this, They need to go to the class and pick their spot. Then they will have an introduction.

There are 20 Students on 1-A. And all of them have a ranking. Dream and Lily is in the middle of the rank. Elaine said that in order to hide their identity and fool the 10 Bringer. She also said that It's the first time the 10 Bringer move for a student. So Dream is a special case for them.

Fortunately, They haven't set their sight on Lily yet. So they still can protect Lily identity.

It's 6.30 AM. Class started at 7 o'clock. So Dream still have time to get ready. So he take a shower and wear his uniform. Then He went down to the cafeteria to buy some snack. Finally he went to the Classroom.

Because they're first year, Their classroom is on the very bottom floor. So Dream can go buy some snack and eat on his way there.

He went inside the classroom and see 15 people already there. 8 guys and 7 girls. Including Dream, Now there's 16 people. Dream choose the Seat on the very back near the corner and near the windows.

It's a normal view for Dream. The Girls looked at him with a rosy cheeks while the boys stared at him with jealousy inside their eyes. Dream doesn't care about them.

Finally everyone is inside. Lily is choosing to sit on the front. Beside Lily, Dream also see a familiar face. He saw Jasmine group inside the class. They waved at Dream and Dream waved back at them.

The Bell rang and the teacher come.

"Good Morning! How are you today?"

The teacher is Elaine. The Students immediately answer her.

"Good Morning miss! We're good!"

They said with a high spirited voice. Everyone seems to get very excited when they saw Elaine.

"So, Is everyone know each other yet?"

"We know some of them but not everyone!"

Everyone said.

"Alright, Then Shall we introduce ourselves first? As you know, I'm Elaine the principal and your homeroom teacher. Now can everyone introduce themselves? Let's start by ranking 1."

Jasmine stand up.

"Yes miss! My name is Jasmine Yan. I'm from the town called. Artine. Nice to meet you!"

Then it moved to Erika Mai, Aiko Nion and Krim Ioda. It's seems like all 4 of them is strong and smart enough to get the first 4 rank.

It's hard to recognize that Jasmine and Krim is almost get killed. But That day make them become stronger. Seeing Dream power ignite something inside of them to make them stronger.

Then it's the twin turn. Al Dan and El Dan. Dream is surprised seeing both of them. He doesn't think that he would meet someone from the Tournament here.

Then for the 7-10 ranked.

"My name is Julius Massle. I'm from Nova and It's an honor to meet all of you!"

Julius, A Muscular boy. He is a polite and handsome boy. He have a powerful aura.

"My name is Lily Woodrow. Nice to meet you."

Lily is ranked 8 then Dream introduced himself.

"My name is Dream Enpierce. Nice to meet you."

Dream sat back down at his seat and look at the other person.

"My Name is Eddie Joel. Nice to meet you."

Eddie is another polite boy. He have a great figure and face. It's like a perfect composition.

That's the 10 strongest person in the class. Obviously The Ranked is combined from Battle Power and Knowledge. There's a chance that the 10th rank might be stronger than 5th rank on the term of fighting.

Finally, after all of the people introduced, The lessons finally started.

"Now, I want to ask you people here. Do you think that Practice is more important than Theory?"

People doesn't know what she mean. Except Dream and Lily. Both of them said.

"I think so. Practice is more important than Theory. With theory you can always learn it. But Practice is more important."

Lily said. Dream followed up her statement.

"True. With Theory, You can always learn it by yourself. You can do it like the book told you. But Practice is different."

All of the students is stunned hearing them. While they don't know what Elaine mean, They answered.

"Great then. Does anyone agreed with that statement?"

Elaine ask while smiling. People were hesitant to answer. But they nodded anyway.

"Great! Let's go to the gymnasium. We're going to go practice rather than Theorizing thing."

Both Dream and Lily followed Elaine. While the other Followed Dream and Lily. Both Dream and Lily is truly the true leader of them. They started doubting that Dream and Lily is on the lower rank than them. Especially those who know him Like Jasmine and her friends, Or the one who know his power like Al and El.

They started doubting their ability. Do they really qualified to be on top of them? But that question isn't going to be answered.

While the other is still changing their clothes, Dream wandered off by himself. He already inside the Gymnasium. Trying to fight one hologram before the lesson started. Elaine and Lily also there watching him.

"Now, Who do you want to fight?"

Ask Lily. Dream stood there try to think who is great to fight with.

"I suggest you to fight the hybrid of Kurou and Eita. I bet you like it."

Said Elaine confidently. Dream immediately interested on that. He select the Hybrid of Kurou and Eita.

The match started immediately. The Hybrid instantly on Dream neck. Dream immediately jumped back. He Smiled once again.

"Hahaha! This is great!"

This turned out to be the battle of speed. Both Dream and the hologram attack as fast as they could. Dream let out his Halberd.

Dream immediately jumped toward the hologram. The Hologram put his daggers up to block Dream Halberd. Dream Smash the Hologram Dagger.

"Dream Style: Spiral Strike!"

Dream spin his halberd and his body. Making a spiral attack to the Hologram stomach. Instantly, The Hologram is gone.

"Incredible!"

Lily said. She immediately go to the hologram machine and fight the same.

Dream stand beside Elaine to see Lily.

She held her katana firmly. The Hologram slowly walk toward Lily. Then, He vanished. Lily suddenly block a s***h that coming from the top of her head. Then he vanished behind Lily. Lily block the s***h behind her by putting her sword behind her back.

"Lily Original: Half Moon Slash."

She calmly turn back and s***h her sword gently toward the hologram. The Daggers supposed to block it. But, Lily technique is stronger. So It slice through the hologram in Half.

"Fantastic Result both of you. I will make something even stronger. You might not believe it when you saw it."

Elaine said. Dream and Lily is really high spirited.

Finally, Everyone came together. Dream and Lily turn quiet. They make a Line looking at Elaine.

"Now, What do you want to do? Do you want to play sports or fight?"

Everyone said.

"Sports!"

It seems like they don't want to fight. Because it's the first day, they want to have fun.

"Great! What sports do you want to play?"

Elaine grabbed all kind of ball.

"Soccer!"

Everyone agree to play soccer. Thing about to get interesting for Dream. They decided to play 5 on 5. There are 2 field so, it's 1-5 vs 6-10. And on the other field is 11-15 vs 16-20.

They decide it like that so It wouldn't take to much time and they can't move on to the real practice. For the first time, Dream play soccer with his new body.

The First team is almost all girls. But, Their rank is higher than the other. So people thought they will be the one who win.

The match is started. The hologram is used to become the goal keeper.

Team 2 win the rock paper scissors. So they're the one who take the ball first.

Julius and Eddie pass to each other at the start of the game. Then, They look back to check on their teammate. But, No one there. All of them already on the front. Eddie stared at his teammate that in front with an eyes that show a lot of possibilities of goals. And The one with the biggest chance of scoring a goal is coming from El and Dream.

Eddie kick the ball toward El. He trap the ball perfectly and started running. But, Al, His brother is there to block him. El try to get pass Al by faking a kick. But, Al saw that coming and grab the ball. He started running.

Seeing that, Dream keep running toward the goal. People don't know what is he doing. He should be blocking Al right now. But, Dream think differently. Because, Lily is there.

She steal the ball immediately. She see Dream in a perfect position to score. She gave Dream a long pass. Dream is on the right side of the Field. The ball spin so much that It doesn't even come down. Dream notice that and jump. He turned his body down and kick the ball into the corner of the goal.

"That was awesome!"

People cheering Dream. Dream look at Lily and smiled.

Now, The goal keeper, Pass to Al. Al immediately charged with the ball. He passed toward Krim. Krim grabbed the ball and keep it going. Then she gave it back to Al after she found Al is on a perfect position to score a goal. But, from out of nowhere, Dream is there. He grab the ball and started running. What he saw is an endless possibilities for scoring from anywhere.

From the Half line, He kick the ball beautifully toward the top right corner. The Hologram try to grab it. But, The ball suddenly drop.

Dream get more and more excited knowing that he can do so much trick that he doesn't think he can do.

"Not yet!"

The Hologram pass the ball toward Jasmine. Jasmine quickly slip through everyone defenses.

"Hello there!"

Lily is there to intercept the pass. Jasmine kick the ball behind her and pass it to Al. Al try to pass through their defense. But, Julius hold Al on the place and grab the ball. Al try to push him, But, Instead of Julius, Al is falling down to his side.

Julius pass the ball to Dream. Dream who doesn't want to play alone, Pass the ball to Eddie.

Eddie grab the ball and stop. In front of him is a mad Al. Eddie try to run to the side but, It's no use. Then He fake his movement by shifting his center of gravity to the side. Making Al also going to the side. But then, He went to the other side and pass Al easily. He then kick the ball to the center. Blocked by the hologram.

Krim grabbed the ball and Kick the ball really hard. Her target is Aiko who is near the half line.

"Alright then Krim! I will do that!"

She muttered. Once the ball landed in front of her, She also kick it toward Erika.

"Haha! Thank you!"

Erika kick the ball inside The goal.

"Nice nice! Let me teach you how I should be playing!"

Dream muttered. The Hologram pass the ball to him who near the Goal. Dream planning to kick the ball across the Field. But, When he saw Lily and the possibilities she have to make a goal. He entrusted the ball to Lily.

Dream stared at Lily and Lily noticed it. She started to silently move. Dream kick the ball to her who is currently near the penalty box. Lily go back a little. The ball bounced off the ground toward her.

Lily doesn't waste any movement. She tap the ball lightly while turning back. Then, She shot it. The ball get inside the Bottom left corner.

With that, The match is over. The winner is team 2. With a score 4-1. In the end, They all had fun. They can't complain because almost everyone is girl in that team.

After that, Finally the real lessons begin.

"Do All of you have fun?"

Elaine ask.

"Yes Miss!"

It seems like it's true. Everyone look happy now. After the match, Everyone seems like they bonded over that.

"Now, All of you. I have some announcement that I need to told you."

Everyone suddenly become serious.

"You know that we have an annual tournament that held with every school in Nova right?"

People nodded. Some of them doesn't have a clue about it.

"So, Basically, Every year we held a tournament and send our strongest 1-3 years students. And the winner get a prize that pretty sweet. So, I want all of you to train with each other everyday."

"Alright miss."

"Now, Start your training!"

"YES!"

All of them bring out their weapon. They started picking out their partner. Dream walked toward Lily. But Lily walk away from Dream. She is smiling. And That smile say something like 'pick other people. Or does you not have any friends?'

Dream get pissed after that. He thought 'fine. I will search someone else'

He moved toward Julius.

"Julius, You want to partner up?"

Julius look at Dream.

"If you're fine with me."

"Then that's set!"

Dream partnered up with Julius. They shake their hand and move to their side.

"Nice to meet you Julius. It's our first time conversation ain't it? Should we say what our specialization first?"

"Good Idea."

"For me, I like using spear and Halberd. I also like doing martial arts. How about you?"

"I like using my gauntlet. I like fighting using my fist. I also do martial arts."

Dream and Julius talk to each other while the other already started their training.

"Alright then, Shall we fight using martial arts?"

"Okay!"

Julius agreed at Dream statement. This is going to be A Great Fist fight.

Both of them walk away from each other. They space themselves 10 feet from each other.

Both of them take their stances. Dream take his grappling stance. He look like ready to go anytime. And Julius, Take his stance. He put both his hands up. His legs look like it was planted to the ground. He look like he can withstand any attack that come to him. It's a fight between speed and power.

The aura around them become heavier. It's the calm before the storm. Seeing that, Other people can't help but watch them fight. The battle is already begun and yet, No one have move an inch. They still observing each other movement and their possible movement after that and after that. They literally observe what they might do in the future.

The air become heavier. They bound to start their move soon. And then, Dream vanished. Only a few people can see his movement. And Julius is one of them.

Julius take his hand back. Form it into a fist, And then Strike at Dream. Dream block it with both of his hand.

'Heavy!' Dream thought. He is getting pushed back even though he blocked the fist.

Julius started to move toward Dream. He punch toward Dream once again. Dream learn his lessons. He carefully look at the punch and Move to evade it. He change his stance from grappling, Into a more suitable one for fist fighting.

He stand up, put his shoulder toward his opponent. Dream Dashed toward Julius once again. He throw a jab couples of times in 1 second. Julius redirected every punch.

"Julius Style: Redirection Flow."

He name his technique that. He used it to redirect the flow of power to somewhere. And it makes it possible to bend people attack.

"Great Julius! I'm liking this!"

Dream smiled. Everyone remember his smile. The smile that he always put when he was feeling the thrill of fighting.

Dream keep throwing even faster jab. And Julius Redirected every single punches. The More punch Dream throw, the faster it become. The smile on his face become even bigger. It even made Julius scared.

Dream, While throwing punches, Finally Kick Julius on his leg. Julius felt like there was a knife slicing his leg. He finally backed out from Dream radius.

Dream noticed that his center of gravity is on the back. So he slide his leg to Julius leg. Making him stumble. Then Dream grabbed Julius arm. Julius immediately, From an uneven stance, Throw Punch toward Dream. It hits Dream right on his stomach.

Dream is surprised feeling that punch. Dream fall back and hold his stomach.

"Ouch ouch... You are strong Julius! Keep doing that!"

"Hahaha... Thank you. Let me do that again!"

Dream and Julius charged toward each other. Dream Kick toward Julius. Julius Punch Toward Dream. Both of the strike Hit them on the torso. Julius is stumbled once again. Now, If Dream can use this moment, He win. And Julius, If he can throw his punch toward Dream. Dream is knocked out and he win. It's all or nothing now.

Dream quickly move toward Julius. And Julius throw his last punch toward the charging Dream. Dream know that he would do that. So He slide below Julius. Then He jumped toward his back. He hold Julius Torso with his leg. And He Choke Julius with his Elbow.

"Dream Style: Triangle Choke."

Julius passed out from the choke. Dream immediately hold him to support his body.

"Great fight Julius. I respect you!"

People clapped after seeing them fight. They are covered in bruises. Julius finally Awake.

"Oh, I lost..."

"No, You're not lost. You just fell asleep."

Dream said trying to keep his pride up.

"Hahaha... Don't worry. I accept my loss after all."

Both of them smiled at each other and they moved to the bench. Instantly, They get closer as a friend.

Lily and Aiko comes in. Lily bring a drink for Dream while Aiko bring a drink for Julius. Apparently, Lily and Aiko is partner.

"Thank you Lily."

"No problem."

Dream accept his drink from Lily. Aiko gave the water in her hand and hand it over to Julius.

"Here you go Julius."

"Eh? Ah, Thank you!"

He accepted while bowing. Both Lily and Aiko walk back to the field.

"Hey Dream... One day, Will you fight me again?"

Dream is surprised hearing that.

"Of course my friend. If you want to train, Call me."

With that, The first day of their lessons ended.

Dream go back to his room.

"Man fighting with Julius is fun. I can learn some new technique also. That Redirection Flow is probably a great secret weapon for the fight. If I can Redirected his power to me and gave it back stronger, Their body might feel a difference."

Dream already thought of the technique that he will make with Julius Redirection Flow as a foundation. After all, Making other people technique Stronger is fun.

Dream take a shower and immediately rest on his bed.

"I'm gonna sleep for 2 hours, Then I'm going to get dinner. Hopefully."

Dream sank into his bed and fall asleep immediately. 1 hour later he wake up naturally. He immediately went to the bathroom and wash his face to wake him up.

Dream up the security on his room to the max and go outside. He see Lily going inside her room while looking very tired.

"Does she keep training after that?"

Dream ask himself. He started to feel bad thinking about that. So to make up for it, He waited for her. He stand near the window and stare at the sun as it set on the horizon.

In the end, Lily doesn't come back out for quite a while. So Dream went ahead and go eat by himself. Lily is already eating apparently. She look tired because she climb up the stairs too fast and she is still full.
