Chapter 26: Demon Summoning.

The sky is black. The moon shined through the cloudless skies. On the outside, The City of Nova is lively as ever. But, That's on the outside. What happened in the inside of Nova?

A young man with White hair and Red eyes was running along the tunnel under the City. And in front of that young man is 3 people wearing robe. On the back of the robe is a symbol. The symbol of destruction.

They're what people called the Cultist. And their goal is to find the perfect vessel to revive an entity called Chaos.

"Come here you bastard!"

The young man leaped out toward the 3 cultist. He swing his chains across the 3 cultist to the tunnel wall.

"What are you planning to do this time?"

The young man let out a bloodlust to force the Cultists to tell him the truth.

"D-Demon Summoning."

One of the cultist answered the Young man question.

"What?! Calling entity from the underworld to the overworld?! You guys must be insane!"

"We must do what we have to do!"

"Wait!"

Before the Young man can stop the Cultists, The Cultist has bit their tongue off. Their mouth suddenly started foaming.

"Tch. Suicide huh. Cultist are very tough to deal with."

The Young man started to transform. His hair and eyes started to revert to their original color. It was Dream Enpierce.

"Gaah. Demon Summoning?! Damn it! I need to tell Miss Elaine about this!"

Dream reach to his pocket and put his ear piece on.

"Miss, This is Dream from Site A. I found their goal. To perform Demon Summoning!"

"Good job Dream. How about you Lily?"

"Same Miss. In the Site B, The cultist said the same thing. But, I think their plan has failed because we intercept their summoning."

Dream went out from the sewer. He then appear in a back alley way of some building.

"Don't let your guard down. If you see any suspicious people, Take them down. There's a chance that the Demon Summoning Ritual has been performed."

"Yes!"

Dream put back his ear piece to the tube.

"Haah... Yoga, You have any idea of the Demon?"

Dream spoke to the air. Suddenly, A maid appear right beside him.

"No. I don't know anything about the Demon. But usually, Demon Summoning can only summon a lower to medium grade demon."

"This is troublesome... Why does the Cult do this. Makes no sense at all."

Dream use his Stealthy Steps to go back to the Student Council Room.

He wait for Lily and Elaine to arrive there.

"Yoga, Can you bring me some water?"

"Hm? Okay."

Yoga walked to the dispenser. Dream was drowned in his own thought.

'Why do the Cult summon a Demon? Is that process necessary for reviving Chaos? Or is there something else that we don't know yet? Damn it. I have no clue at all.'

Yoga walked back from the dispenser and gave Dream the water.

Dream immediately drink all the water.

"In order to revive Chaos, The Cult need to find a perfect vessel for it. And that Vessel must be a strong one. No ordinary person can hold all the Chaos Power."

Yoga explained.

"But, How do they determine if the Vessel is perfect or not?"

"Easy. The perfect vessel for Chaos can be determined by how strong they can use their own power. For the matter of fact. I know the perfect vessel for Chaos."

Dream was surprised by Yoga statement. He look at her and ask about it.

"Who is it?"

"That person is you!"

Yoga look at Dream seriously. Dream immediately get chills.

"Wait, I'm the perfect vessel? Does that mean that the Cult will target me?"

"Yes. They will do anything within their power to kidnap you or probably even kill you. Because, What they needed is your body, not your soul. So they don't have the reason to keep you alive."

Dream once again get chills down his spine.

"Is that so? Good then. If they want me, They should just went for it. I can kill them no problem that way."

"Master... Please be careful..."

Dream look at Yoga who's looking pretty sad.

"What happened?"

"No... I just don't want to lose you Master... After all, You're the person who are worthy enough to wield me. I don't want to lose you and be lonely again. No matter what!"

Dream can feel the pain in her voice. Dream smiled at her and pat her head.

"Don't worry Yoga. I won't die."

Then, Eventually, Lily and Elaine come. Yoga went inside Dream body once again.

"So Dream, Lily. We have got the coordinate where the Demon will come from."

Lily was shocked hearing that.

"So they managed to pull it of before dying huh."

"Exactly. According to my observation, The forest in the west. Around 20 lower to medium ranked Demon will spawn and head straight to our Academy. Along the way, They will also destroy anything in their path."

Dream and Lily listened at Elaine explanation.

"So, To avoid the destruction. We need to do one thing."

"We need to wait at the west forest. Correct?"

"Correct. As Dream said, We will stop them right in the place where they spawned. So that they can't go to the city and destroy it."

"Okay. Should we inform the other about this?"

"Yes. Lily, You do that. The portal will need 3 days to open. So, We only have that much time to prepare to fight the Demon."

"Okay miss."

After giving everyone a clear direction, Elaine went back to her office. Dream and Lily went back to their room.

Dream called Yoga once again.

"Yoga, Do you know what kind of attack will be effective against Demon?"

'The type of attack that work on Demon? Fortunately, They didn't have any resistance. So, You can attack them without worrying about anything.'

Dream was surprised hearing that.

"Great! I thought that they would be immune to a certain type of attack."

'Well, Fortunately that's not the case. Just attack them with all your might and they will eventually die.'

Dream change his clothes and immediately went to sleep.

The next day, In the Student Council Room. They were doing their job as usual. Dream was waiting for Lily to talk about the Demon stuff while Lily was waiting for the correct moment to talk about it.

Everyone was still busy with their stuff so, it was hard for Lily to talk about that. Dream and Lily was exchanging stare at each other.

Ray notice that they want to talk about something so he immediately talk about it.

"What do you guys want to say?"

After Ray say that, Jasmine and Krim stop whatever they were doing and focused on Lily and Dream. Dream point at Lily. They focused fully on Lily.

"Umm... Miss Elaine say this. In 2 days, There will be a portal that will spawn 20 demon. And Miss Elaine want all of us to go to the west forest to kill the Demon before they reach the city."

Lily explain the situation to Ray, Jasmine and Krim.

"Oh really? I have no problem with that. Right?"

Ray immediately look at Jasmine and Krim. Jasmine and Krim look awkwardly to Lily.

"I don't know what made you worried but, We're okay with that."

"Yup! All of us can fight. And I don't need to worry about it because we're already win before the fight begun."

Jasmine and Krim said that to Lily. Lily look at them weirdly.

"See Lily? You don't need to worry about them. Miss Elaine is there with us too so, Why worry about that?"

"Yeah... I'm sorry. It just weird for me to say that to you guys."

Everyone look at her while smiling. They immediately went back to their work.

After that, All of them went to Gym and train with each other in order to strengthened themselves. It's their preparation before they fight the Demons.

Dream and Elaine team up to train Lily and the rest of the Student Council. Everyone get suddenly get chills down their spine. The two strongest person on the Academy is teaming up to train them. Everyone would get really scared.

But, Despite that. They feels excited because this type training is really rare. Usually, Dream and Elaine fight against each other.

"Well Miss. This is the first time we team up to fight against students right?"

Dream said. He look at Elaine while preparing himself.

"Yup! I've been looking forward for the time where we can fight together while training them. Maybe we should do this more often."

Elaine c***k her fist and say that to Dream.

"Yeah. We should do that. We can force them to get even stronger in just a matter of time."

"Not bad right? Then starting tomorrow, You're going to help me train these guys."

"No problem!"

Dream and Elaine talk about their plan.

Lily, Ray, Jasmine and Krim get chills down their back. They don't know what is the source of that feeling.

Dream and Elaine finished warming up. They turned around and look at the others. The other flinched just from the Aura of seriousness that Dream and Elaine put out.

"You guys done yet?"

Elaine asked. They immediately nodded and pull out their weapon. Dream and Elaine was fighting with their bare fists.

"Then we're going to start!"

Elaine said. She then look at Dream.

"Dream, Match my movement."

"Hm? Sure."

Dream didn't know what is she planning about. But, He listen to her anyway.

Dream and Elaine put the same stance. A big gulp sound can be heard from the other side. Their head was dripping with sweat.

Both Dream and Elaine disappear at the same time.

They immediately appear right behind them.

"Phantom Strike!"

Dream and Elaine use the same technique with the same amount of power. But, Everyone saw that coming.

Lily, Jasmine and Krim evaded that attack. While Ray charged head on toward Dream.

"NO RAY!"

Lily screamed Ray name. She tried to warn him but, It's too late.

As soon as Ray blades touch Dream body. It vanished.

"Phantom Steps?!"

Ray was shocked by that. No matter how many times they saw the same type of attack, It's hard to differentiate between real person and the clone.

Dream immediately swing his right leg toward Ray sides.

"Guh!"

Ray reduce the impact by using his Iron Clad. As he was flying toward the wall of the Gym, Dream appear right behind him.

Ray immediately swing his body back. Dream swing his fist toward Ray chest. Ray quickly put his swords between the fist and his chest.

Dream fist hit the swords. Ray flied to the other side of the Gym.

"Tch! Ray!"

Lily Krim started running toward Ray. But, Right in front of her is Elaine. She swing her fist right at Krim. Krim pull her daggers out.

"No Krim!"

Hearing Lily sound behind her. She stop and immediately jumped to the side. Suddenly, Lily fly toward Elaine in an incredible speed.

She flaps her Wings Caritas to accelerate further.

She kick Elaine fist with her right Leg. Elaine and Lily jumped back to gain some distance.

Suddenly, Behind Lily. Dream was winding up his leg.

"Wha?!"

Dream swing his right leg toward Lily. Lily use her wings to protect her body from the blow.

"What?!"

Dream was shocked. Then suddenly, Dream was hit by a fire Dragon.

"Agh!"

He was sent flying by Jasmine.

Using that chance, Ray charged at Dream. Dream gain some of his balance back. He look at Ray to observe his movement.

Ray throw his Blue Sword toward Dream. Dream easily dodge it. Then, Using his Green sword. Ray cut Dream with fast movement.

Dream dodge the s***h no problem. Suddenly, in the midst of that s***h attack, He received a blow from the side of his body.

Dream was blown away by the kick into the wall.

"What? Ray managed to kick me from by blind spot?!"

Dream can't hide his shock. Ray smiled at him and said.

"I've figured out your weakness Dream."

Dream once again, can't hide his shock.

"You managed to find the flaw in my fighting? Impressive Ray. As Expected from my Best Friend!"

Dream smiled big. He charged toward Ray and immediately swing his right hand toward Ray. Ray jumped back to dodge Dream fist.

Dream accelerate even further and take Ray down. He grabbed his leg and throw him down.

Dream immediately hit Ray chest with his palm.

"Gah!"

Ray immediately stopped moving.

"Dream Style: Palm Strike."

He then looked toward Elaine. It seems like she was having a problem with Lily.

Dream immediately use his Stealthy steps to take both Krim and Jasmine down.

"Eh?"

When they Realize. They're on the ground. Unable to move. Dream just lightly hit both of them in the neck.

"Well then."

Dream looked at Elaine. Elaine was jumping back. Dodging Lily attack. Dream use his Stealthy steps to sneak behind Lily.

Elaine notice that and immediately jump toward Lily.

"Eh?"

Lily was shocked by that move. She quickly swing her Katana toward Elaine. But, It vanish

"Guh! Phantom Steps again?!"

Lily can't hide her angry expression. She was tired from getting toyed by Elaine and her Phantom Steps.

In just a moment that she stopped moving. A hand touched her back.

"Eh?"

She quickly turned around and saw Dream smiling.

"Lily Style: Flash!"

In just an Instant, Lily cut toward Dream many times. But, Nothing Landed.

Dream appear right in front of Lily.

"Dream Style: Cloud Nine."

Dream kick Lily legs. Making her fall toward him. Then, He swing his leg forward. Lily block it with her fist. Sending her flying to the air.

Dream jumped toward Lily. And he kick Lily down.

"Dream Style: Star Fall."

Lily change her Katana to her wings. But, At that time. It was too late. She hit the ground and immediately grunt in pain.

Dream and Elaine face each other.

Suddenly, Elaine punch Dream stomach with all her might.

"Gah!"

Dream fly in an incredible speed and hit the wall.

"Ah Crap... I lowered my defense..."

Dream said. He then passed out.

"Good job everyone! Now Drink this potion!"

Elaine hand everyone except Dream a high grade potion. Lily look at Dream and ask Elaine.

"What about Dream?"

"Let him be. He will wake up in a couple of minutes."

"Ah. Alright."

Lily walked toward Dream and sit right beside him.

"Hah!"

Dream wake up and look at Lily.

"Oh Lily. Hello."

He said awkwardly.

"Hello! Drink this!"

Lily gave Dream the same potion that Elaine gave her.

"Oh! Thanks! My body is hurting because of Miss Elaine sneak attack."

Dream drank the potion and instantly, He stand up.

"Let's go back. Tomorrow, We're going to have this type of training again."

"Eh?!"

Dream ignored Lily who can't believe what he said. He walked to his room and immediately take a shower.

After that he went to bed and sleep.

The next day. The same training was held again. But this time, All students joined in on the Training.

"Hoo? They let out a great aura! I thought they would feel scared instead of feeling excited."

Dream said while observing the Students. Elaine look at him and said.

"Of course they feel excited. This is a rare chance they got to fight against the Dream Enpierce himself. Moreover, I bet they're feeling confident because they believe they can't lose because of the amount of the people on their side."

Elaine said while chuckling.

"Well it doesn't matter. I'd be happy if people were brave enough to fight me!"

Dream step forward. Elaine c***k her fist. That action intimidated the whole crowd. Dream and Elaine still fighting using Bare hand. And the rest of the Students were using their weapons.

But the thing that the Student doesn't know is that, Dream and Elaine can use their Chaos Essence or their Mark.

"Well. Let's get started."

Dream immediately charged toward the students without any hesitation. He jumped up toward the sky and launch back to the middle of the crowd.

The crowd immediately jumped toward Dream.

Dream smiled and immediately glow Orange.

"One Chaos Essence."

Dream muttered. He tightened his arm. He make a claw with his hands. Then he put it beside him.

"Dream Style: Twister!"

Dream swing his hand fiercely together. In that moment. A twister appear right where Dream standing. Sucking everyone to the twister.

Then, That twister stop shortly after. Everyone balance was thrown off by that Twister. They can't even stand properly. Some of them got really bad headache.

"Well, As expected from Twister. They really shook your brain around."

Dream jumped back beside Elaine.

"You done?"

Elaine ask. Dream nodded.

"Then, Let's get serious."

"Okay!"

Dream was covered by Orange light. That light become darker.

"Two Chaos Essence."

Dream muttered. Then, Elaine was covered by a really dark Orange.

Both of them immediately use all their Chaos Essence.

That training become a c*****e. Everything get blasted by Elaine and Dream power.

The training was stopped after 1 minutes into the match.

"Dream. Go check the west forest."

"Okay."

Dream was given a task by Elaine to check on the portal. They need the exact location of the Portal so that they can plan the ambush better.

Dream use his Stealthy steps to quickly ran toward the General Area.

After 15 minutes of searching. Dream come across a pitch black portal.

Dream approach the portal closer. He then touch the portal.

"Hm... The portal was sealed really tightly. Good job on your part Demon. If there's an opening, I would sent a big big explosion to your realm."

Around Dream was Orb of Avaritia Floating around his body. If the Demon Portal is open and he can go in. Dream planned attack their realm from the human realm.

Fortunately for the Demon, The portal was sealed perfectly so that Dream can't launch any attack.

"This is the location. I need to know exactly where this is."

Dream jumped toward the Sky and look for Nova.

"So Nova is that way. From the gate of Nova, The Academy is there. So if I want to go straight from the Academy to here. I just need to walk this direction."

Dream use his brain to make a straight line from the portal to the Academy.

"Yup. Done with that. Let's go back."

After he did that. He walked back toward the Academy. He then immediately went to Elaine office to report his job.

"Miss! The portal has been secured. As long as the portal didn't move. I know the exact location of the portal."

Dream said confidently. Elaine nodded.

"Good job Dream. Now go rest and tomorrow. We're going to go at 5 o'clock in the morning to there and wait."

"Yes!"

Dream went out her office and head straight to Cafeteria. He then meet up with Lily, Ray and Eis and they had dinner together.

"How's your job as President, Dream?"

Eis asked. Dream look at her.

"It's going really well for now. To be honest, I quiet like it being the President. I get to control people with my power."

Dream chuckled after saying that.

"You're enjoying it too much Dream. Remember Lucia? You didn't told her anything about our Student Council. Instead you went ahead and sleep on your chair."

Ray said. Dream gulped his curry and look at him.

"I said I'm sorry."

Eis laughed at Dream.

"Well, It doesn't matter. Just keep doing what you're doing. As long as you're in charge, Our Academy will be on top."

"Thank you Eis."

Dream said his thanks to Eis. They finished their meal. Dream and Lily went ahead to their room. Dream and Lily talked in Lily room before Dream went back to his room.

"Haah.. That's quiet tiring. I want to sleep immediately."

Before Dream went to bed, He take a quick shower. After wearing his pajama. He turned of his light and put the security level to the max.

He then tuck himself in the bed and sleep.
