Chapter 21: Heartless.

Finally, After waiting for days. The time finally come.

When the night sky is at it darkest. From the forest around Dream, A lot of presence waiting to strike in a correct moment. It seems like the Presence is not as much as before.

But Dream can't exactly see how many presence there are because there's no rain to detect them. So, He can only use the information from his instinct.

When everyone was asleep in the middle of the night, Dream erases all of his presence and wait in the front gate. He waited for couple hours until the Presence move. In front of his eyes, Is around 500 to 600 Masked People.

They seems like they haven't realized Dream Presence yet. So, He decided to scare them before killing all of them. He use Stealthy Steps to sneak to the middle of the group.

Dream Reveal his Presence and Let out a really intense Bloodlust.

"What?!"

People immediately wondered about Dream Identity. They panicked and immediately blast Dream with their most powerful attack.

"INTRUDER!"

They screamed while attacking Dream.

Explosion, Fire, Sword, Arrow. All of it was flying toward Dream. Dream was Engulfed by the smokes.

They raise their guard. They thought that Dream is dead after getting hit by that amount of attack.

"Oooi. What do you mean Intruder?! Isn't you guys who went here? Telling me an Intruder is really stupid of you."

Dream let out even more bloodlust. It was enough to make the Masked people shudder in fear.

"Let me tell you one thing. In Nova, There's 1000 of you. And the one who killed them is me!"

Dream said with cold Voice. It enhances the effect of intimidation by a couple fold just by using Ash Andre Form.

"D-D-Don't tell me! You're that Dream Enpierce?!"

"Now you know too much. Die."

From nowhere, Orb of Avaritia appear. Dream hold it and immediately, The ground around Dream and The masked people explode.

"Boom! That's a wrap for tonight."

Dream thought that the fight was over. But, It seems like there's a tough people in there too.

"Hoo? You can withstand that? Magnificent. Let me play even more!"

Dream notice that the Student is awake. So, He take the Orb of Avaritia back and make it disappear.

Dream moved toward the 3 Masked people who is still standing. They were shocked by how fast Dream moving.

"Drop Dead!"

Dream hands pierces through the Masked people stomach. Leaving only 1 left.

"Well then. Let me play with you some more!"

Dream grinned while saying that. The Masked Man immediately fell to the ground and crawl back.

"Please! Spare me!"

He begged. Dream look at him with a really cold eyes.

He stomp on the arms. Then he grind the arms into the ground.

"Hey... Where's the usual cruelness gone? Are you that afraid of dying?"

Dream asked.

"Of course I'm!"

"Then why did you kill?"

Dream crouched and pull the Masked man Hair up. He look to the man like he was looking a bug. A worthless bug.

"Forgive me..."

Dream thrust his finger into one of the eye.

"Hey~ Where's your base?"

That cruel scene is enough to bring fear into everyone feeling. They look at Dream torturing the Masked man.

"H-Heartless..."

They simultaneously said.

"Our base is at the north..."

"Ah it's the same. Thank you for the information!"

Dream stand up. The masked man was relieved that he was spared. Or so he thought.

As Dream leave, He stomp the masked man head really hard. Crushing it to the ground.

"Haah... We need to destroy the root of the organization it seems."

Dream said as he went back to the Crowd.

"Ooii Mina. I'm done with my job."

"Y-Yes! Thank you for the help! Ash!"

"No problem."

Dream left the crowd without saying anything else. They can only stare at Dream back with fear. They look at the front gate and saw a mountain of burnt and bloody corpse.

Dream went back to his room and call Elaine.

"Miss!!! I'm done with my task!!!"

Dream said excitedly.

"Great work. I will pick you up immediately."

"Thank you!"

The time right now is midnight. But, Because Dream work really hard in this mission, Elaine immediately go to pick up her precious student.

Dream change his appearance back from Ash Andre into Dream Enpierce. The cold glare and tone left Dream.

"Haahh. Finally I can go back and meet with my friend! Haah... How I miss you guys..."

Dream pick all of his belonging and left without word.

He charged straight into the airport where He wait for Elaine to arrived.

Finally, A familiar Plane landed. It stopped and the door dropped. And the first one to leapt out from the door isn't Elaine. It's Lily.

"DREAM!!!"

She screamed. Dream was surprised seeing her. But, He definitely happy. He ran toward her and catch Lily who's leaping at him.

"Lily! I miss you!"

They both hug each other and ignored everyone there. And then, Lily kissed Dream on the cheek.

"That's your reward for completing the mission!"

Dream immediately went red after that.

"Thank you..."

Dream look away as he was to embarrassed to look Lily in her eyes. Then, Elaine comes in.

"Great job Dream. Let's go back now. It's not appropriate to do something like that in an open area."

"Ah Yes!"

Dream and Lily hold hand and walked back to the plane. Elaine was happy to see Dream usual self.

She was worried that Dream would lost his mind and annihilate everyone in the school.

So, It's a great sight to see Dream in his usual self. And of course, Dream was told about the situation in the school by Elaine and Lily. Anta is now back in the student Council after also being on a mission

"Oh, So Ray was the strongest boy student when I'm gone?"

"Pretty much. He dominated everyone with his new fighting style."

Dream was happy hearing that pleasant news. If Ray becomes stronger, That means that he can fight him once again.

"And Lily still reign on top of the Girl rank."

"Fufu... Of course I'm! Even President Eis couldn't defeat me."

"That's great. You guys are having fun while I'm gone..."

Dream eyes look dead. He was dead tired from this mission.

"Ah Dream, Sleep here!"

Lily offer her lap to be a pillow. Elaine look shocked at that. Her face was saying 'Being Young is nice huh...'

"Then, I will take the offer."

Dream lay down and put his head on Lily lap. Their eyes meet each other. Dream smiled seeing that and close his eyes. Instantly, He fell asleep.

"Well then. We have 4 hours before we arrived. Lily, Make sure you sleep too."

"Yes miss!"

Elaine turned of the light and let the both of them sleep. She then fall asleep not too long after that.

Then, Finally the plane shook. They arrived back at Nova airport. The sun was coming up now. Dream woke up before anyone in the plane. He drink water and then go to the bathroom.

After that, He woke Lily and Elaine. They both woke up immediately and they head straight back to the academy.

Dream sleep once again. While Elaine and Lily was doing their usual job.

Dream wake up 2 hours later and immediately go the field to see everyone training. Dream surprises everyone with his appearance after he disappear without a word.

And the one who charged at Dream first is Ray. Along with A Green long sword in his left hand and Blue Long sword in the right hand.

Dream smiled after receiving a warm welcome by Ray. He summon Halberd of Ira and grip it tightly.

He swing the halberd upward toward Ray. Ray counter Dream attack by jumping and thrusting both the sword to the ground. Keeping the Halberd unable to be used.

"Oh crap!"

Ray summon his Red sword and swing it toward Dream with all his might. Dream panicked because he can't use the Halberd to block it.

He jumped back to try to evade the Long sword. But, The sword is long enough to s***h Dream shoulder.

Dream smiled after feeling that attack. Ray is one of the few people that can injured Dream. So, It's really a remarkable feat from him.

The classmates was shocked seeing Ray bearing his fang toward the king.

"Remarkable! I expected this much from you Ray!"

"Hah! I'm not done yet! Here I come!"

Ray charged with the Red sword. Dream recall his halberd and immediately swing the Halberd down.

Ray stopped and put his sword up to block Dream Halberd.

Dream Halberd Vanished. Ray was shocked and immediately, Ray feel a pain on his chest. Dream foot was planted in Ray chest.

"AGH!"

Ray was flown by the impact.

Dream appear right behind Ray. Ray immediately clench his body before he get kicked to the sky by Dream.

"Boo!"

Dream Jumped toward Ray and swing his arms down.

"Urgh!"

Ray use his Iron Clad to kill the Impact from Dream attack. As he was laying on the ground. Dream swing his leg down. Giving an Axe kick to Ray.

Ray quickly get up. Dream axe kick destroy the ground. Ray immediately Recall the Green and Blue sword.

Dream summoned the Chains of Acedia. Dream swing his Chains fiercely toward Ray. Ray stopped moving and block the chains.

Ray can't moved toward Dream due to the Chains unable him to do anything other than defense.

The chains become faster as the fight goes on. Ray was destined to lose if he was keep on defending. And Ray notices that.

Ray swing his arm and throw the sword toward Dream. Dream was shocked. He evade the blade by jumping to the side.

Then, Another sword was thrown. Same as the last time, Dream jumped back to the side. And Ray was swinging his red sword toward Dream.

By throwing his swords toward Dream, He can control Dream movement into jumping toward the middle of the sword.

"This is the end. Dream!"

Ray said. Dream smiled as he look the sword approach him closer.

"Indeed. This is the end."

Dream slide Ray sword right beside him. And then, Dream jumped and choke Ray.

"Dream Style: Triangle Choke."

Ray passed out after getting choked by Dream.

Not too long after that, Ray woke up.

"Yo!"

Dream pull Ray back up.

"Dream. I'm glad you're back."

"Me too. I'm glad to be here."

They recall their weapon and put it back at its place. Dream join the training session. After that, They went to the Student Council Room to talk about Dream Experience.

"So. What're you guys want to know about my mission?"

Dream said. They all ask with great excitement.

"Dream, Tell me who the enemy first."

Ask Ray.

"Well, My enemy this time is still the Masked People. The amount they sent there is half what they sent to Nova. So, It's really easy taking care of them"

"Is there any victim?"

The atmosphere suddenly become heavy. But, Dream lightened that Atmosphere with smile.

"There is. And for that, I gave them their revenge on the Masked People. So, they should rest easy in the afterlife."

"Is that so? That's great."

After Ray get his turn, It's Eis who ask Dream.

"So Dream, Is there a strong person there by any chance?"

"No. There's no strong person there at all. They're just a bunch of weak students. Even the strongest student fall in a couple of hit."

'Well, It's because you who are too strong.' Is written on everyone face.

"It doesn't really matter though. I already gave the principal a training regime to follow. It just depend on them if they want to be strong."

"Then, Do you think they will follow your training regime?"

Dream think for a second. Will they follow his training regime or not.

"Naah. I don't think they will."

Dream answered. Hearing that, The Student Council finally know how weak the Blue Trunks Academy is.

"Yup yup. They're not worth talking about."

"True~ How about we change the topic now?"

"Yeah! How about we change it~"

After hearing Dream stories, The student council agree to not talk about it again. So, They change the talking topic.

"Dream, What do you think of taking a break for school for a couple of days?"

Elaine suddenly asked.

"Eh? Break?"

"Yeah. I will let you and Lily go free for 1 week. How about that?"

Dream and Lily look at each other.

"I mean, If you let us, We will take that offer."

"Great then. I will free my time for one day to take you to the place you wanted."

Dream was shocked after hearing the generosity of Elaine.

"Ah, I want you to take Me and Lily to my hometown. I miss my relatives you see."

"Ah! I want it too! I want to meet Dream parent!"

"Alright alright. I will take you guys there. So Prepare your stuff tomorrow. And The next day after tomorrow, I will take you guys there."

"Thank you miss!"

Dream and Lily look at each other happily. Finally they can meet Dream parent. After a long time of wanting.

The rest of the student council smiled as well seeing Dream and Lily smiled. Then, Eis ask Ray.

"Hey Ray. When are you going to visit my parent?"

Ray froze. All the eyes immediately moved toward Ray who is now flustered.

"Eh... Etto..."

All the eyes that looking at him was saying 'Come on Ray. Be a Man! Answer it!'

"Ho-How about next month?"

Ray ask awkwardly.

"Really? Well then. I will tell them that you're coming."

Ray immediately shudder. The thought of him meeting Eis parents must be pretty scary.

"Good luck Ray~"

Dream said with teasing tone.

"You shut up!"

Ray said toward Dream.

This is the usual Atmosphere that Dream miss.

And now, Dream is in the gym with Yoga in her human form. Dream back was glowing red from the Leviathan mark.

Dream hands was in front of him. And between that hands is a cube made out of water.

"Come on Master! You can do it!"

Yoga said to encourage her master.

Dream state of focus is incredible. He's so focused that he ignored Yoga word.

The water cube between his hand become more and more strong.

Then, Suddenly. Dream lost control of the water. It explode and vanished.

"Ah crap! I was hoping that was my last attempt"

Dream said. He's been doing this for 200 times now.

"Ah Master. That would be cool if you develop the one shot technique today."

Yoga said.

"Yeah. I was hoping I could recreate the same feeling of the deep ocean. Where the pressure is really high."

"It will be the most dangerous technique if you manage to make it. But, Why did you want to make that technique master?"

Yoga said. True. Why would Dream make such dangerous technique. There's no way it would just for fun.

"Well, Eventually we're going to fight Chaos. And I need strong technique that I could unleash to kill him."

"Ah That's why huh. Well, I will give you advice if you want to perfect that technique master."

"What is it?"

Dream sat down and hear Yoga explanation.

"If you want to develop that technique, Make sure you know how does that feel first. It would help in your research to perfecting the technique really fast."

"Yeah... But, How do I feel that? Now that I have Leviathan Mark, I can't feel the pressure anymore."

"Well True that. Water has no effect on you anymore... Ahh I don't know!!!"

Dream laugh after seeing Yoga lost her mind on searching a way for Dream.

"We could postpone this for a bit. I will search for the way myself. I'm confident I can find it less than 1 month."

"Haah... I'm rooting for you..."

Yoga look so tired. Dream chuckled after seeing Yoga state once more. She's acting like a real person and not a weapon.

"This is my last attempt on the Water."

Dream summoned a cube of water between his hand.

Dream keep failing over and over again. He does around 50 more tries before he completely exhausted.

Dream went back to his room and lock himself there. In order to search for more technique he can use.

Dream fell asleep after he write a lot of technique he want to develop.

The next day he woke up, Dream immediately went to the gym. Avoiding a crowded place.

He already sort everything he need to bring to his hometown so, He use his free time to train individually.

"Dream Style: Wave Attack!"

New and Improved Wave Attack. Dream Wave Attack that defeated Elaine. Is now even stronger. It's faster, and stronger.

"Haah. That's nice. My Wave attack is much much! Stronger now!"

And Dream was terrified when he see the aftermath of the Wave Attack. There's a hole in the middle of the wall.

"Uwaa! I messed up. Miss Elaine going to get mad at me..."

Dream immediately ran away from the Gym.

About Dream Wave Attack, It isn't even the strongest attack in Dream arsenal. But, It's one of the strongest one for sure.

Dream use his Stealthy Steps away from the Gym as he notice a lot of people were going to the Gym in panic.

The next day, Dream and Lily was ready to go. They're waiting on Elaine to take the plane.

Their plan is to fly back to Artine. And from there, Elaine will call Eleanor to accompany her. Then, They will get into Elaine car and go to Examate that approximately 100 km away from Artine.

So, In order for them to arrived to Examate before dark, They need to take the flight early in the morning.

And finally, Elaine arrived to the airport.

"Ah Miss! You're late 15 minutes!"

Lily scolded Elaine.

"Ah Sorry... I'm just making sure that nothing is going to happen when I'm gone."

Elaine explain. She was telling the student and the teacher not to do something stupid when she's gone with Dream and Lily.

"Well, That's understandable. Let's go then!"

Dream said. Elaine moved to the front get in the plane. Dream and Lily follow right after her. They set the coordinate into Artine.

"Well then. Let's go!"

"OOU!"

In Examate. At that time.

"Hm? Somehow, I'm excited for today..."

A woman with long black hair said while she was hanging her laundry.

"Mommy... What are you cooking today?"

Young girl come up behind her. Tugging on her clothes.

"Curry!"

The woman said while stroking the little girl head.

"Really? Yay! Thank you!"

The Little girl ran off happily. And the Woman went back on hanging her laundry.
