Chapter 13: Start of Summer.

Dream wake up with a presence of Lily and Elaine, Lily holding Dream hand that covered in bandages. And Elaine is there because Dream is her student.

Currently, It's night time. Elaine is about to leave to go back to her room while Lily is planning to sleep near Dream to check on his condition.

"So you've woken up."

Elaine said.

"Yes. Do I make you worried?"

Dream ask Lily and Elaine.

"No. I know that you're okay. Beside your arm anyway."

Dream look at his arms after hearing Lily.

"Well then. I'm going back to my office. Lily, I leave Dream to you."

Elaine went out from the room to go back to her office. Now it's only Dream and Lily.

"Do you have fun while fighting Miss Elaine?"

Lily ask. She knows that her boyfriend is a battle junkie. But, She decide to ask anyway.

"Yeah. It's fun. It's been a long time since I lost again someone."

"Well, Make sure you hold yourself back. Do you forgot about your dream?"

"Kind of. I'm actually forgot when fighting Miss Elaine."

"Hm... Don't forget about it. Are you okay now?"

Lily ask Dream. She wanted to go back to her room if Dream is able to walk.

"Yeah. My condition is good. Though, I still feel pain in my arms."

Dream was wondering. How can his arms still hurt? He believes that he drank a high ranked potion.

"Miss Elaine said potion have no effect for Chaos Essence. But, She also said that you will recover in 3 days."

"Alright then. Shall we go back?"

"Yes!"

Dream and Lily walk back to their room.

And when Dream is alone in his room. He talk to himself.

"It's a blessing to have a Teacher like Miss Elaine and a Girlfriend like Lily. They support everything I do. I'm really blessed to have them."

Dream smiled softly after saying that. There's no one beside him in there. He was literally talking to himself. He just saying his true feeling.

Dream took his clothes off and went to take a bath.

He can move his arm a little bit. He take a note from the battle against Elaine.

"Never Block an attack that coming from Chaos Essence."

That's the lesson he take from it. He still regret the decision to Block instead of Evade. He can't use his arm for a few days. Which mean that he also can't train.

"Haah... I should just lay low for a couple of days..."

Dream finished bathing and immediately went to bed.

Dream closed his eyes and then suddenly it's morning. Even Dream was surprised.

"Am I that tired? I sleep and instantly Morning. Well, It doesn't matter..."

Dream prepare for his usual day. Bathe, Wearing uniforms and go to class.

For 3 days, Dream is only staring at people when they were training. Elaine and Lily make sure that Dream recover fully.

"Yup, This is nice..."

Dream swing his arm around. The feeling that he wanted for 3 days finally came back. It's Friday. Tomorrow is the day where they are going to go on Elaine Island.

So for today, Dream is spending time with Lily all alone. They go around the city. Searching for something fun to do. Their hand are gently intertwined the feeling of happiness filled both of them.

For the most part, They do what usual lovers do. Until they stumble upon something interesting.

"Lily.. Do you smell that?"

"What? This Iron smells?"

"Yeah. But it's not Iron. It's blood. I guess we finally found something to do."

As usual, Dream smiled. He always does that when he found something interesting.

"Well, Do you know where the source is?"

"It's below us. Let's search for something that can lead us there!"

Dream immediately started to ran. Lily followed him from behind with a troubled smile.

"Oh, This Ominous aura. There's no mistake, This is the way in."

Dream and Lily stop at a certain alleyway. In that alley there's a lot of trash and one singular hole that was covered among the trash.

"There's chant, Blood and ominous aura. There's no mistaken."

Dream also notice that there's a lot of people is inside the sewer. Dream and Lily sure this is it.

"The Cult of Chaos huh. They trying something stupid again in the middle of the city."

"Let's go in!"

Dream and Lily immediately prepare their weapon. Halberd and Katana. They jumped inside the hole.

As soon as they arrived at the bottom, They see a lot of animal sacrifices. And the people there were chanting something and circling around the animal. They notice Dream and Lily.

"Who are you!"

They immediately prepare their weapon. Dream and Lily doesn't answer their question because they don't need to.

But, Dream still gave them answer.

"You don't need to know about us. You're about to die anyway!"

Dream and Lily charged while attacking. Not too long after that, Blood covered the whole sewer. The animal sacrifices now become human sacrifices.

"They're just a bunch of idiots... They're trying to summon a high ranked Demon in the middle of the city. Not knowing that they also become the sacrifices...."

"Lily, We know that they're idiots. That's why they do it. If they're smart, They won't summon a high ranked demon and let it loose."

Dream and Lily clean up the mess that they made. By burning all the body...

"Now we smells like smoke... Should we head back now?"

"Yeah. Let's resume our date in the island."

Dream and Lily jumped back up to the surface and went straight to the dorm. People were holding their nose because they really smells like a smoke.

They immediately went to take a shower and use a lot of soap and shampoo. After they wear their clothes, they spray a lot of perfume.

Then they meet up once again and talk in Dream room.

"Is Everyone here?"

Elaine said.

All the student council is here with their bag. They're in front of an airplane that will took them to the Island. Where they will stay for 1 weeks to train and have fun.

They went inside the plane. Dream have been inside her plane so he was acting normal now. But, The other is surprised seeing it.

"It's even luxurious than before..."

Eis said. She knows what the inside of Elaine plane before. So it really surprising for them to see it more glorious.

It's nice and chilly inside the plane. As soon as they take off, Dream immediately get sleepy. He  can't focus and his eyes is forced to close. The girls is talking with each other. Dream is the only guy here. So he doesn't feel like it is appropriate for him to go talk with them.

Dream head sway left and right. He's fighting the Sleepiness. Seeing that, Lily immediately grab Dream head and let him lean at her. She pat Dream head to make him sleep. And that is powerful. Dream immediately sleep.

The girls who saw that immediately chuckled.

"Hoo, Look at Lily. Such a great girlfriend..."

"I'm envious~ I really want a boyfriend that I could pamper too~"

People started teasing Lily. They aren't surprised seeing that. It seems like they catch up at Dream and Lily relation in just a single glance. What they're surprised is that the fact that they finally dating. They thought that Dream and Lily already dating for a long time. But, They're wrong.

Lily just smiled awkwardly as an answer.

"Ngah!"

Dream woke up after sleeping after a little bit. Seeing Lily by his side, Dream unconsciously hug her like a pillow. Lily get flustered a bit but immediately went back to normal after seeing Dream went back to sleep.

Lily lean at Dream and hug Dream back.

The rest of the student council look embarrassed after seeing the sweetness of Dream and Lily.

"Ngah?!"

Dream woke up once again. He rub his eyes.

"Oh my god, Am I sleeping?"

"Yes. Why do you wake up? I already comfortable before this."

Lily pouted. Dream immediately felt bad after seeing her expression.

"Sorry about it. Here let me be the one who comforted you!"

Dream without hesitation hug Lily. Lily immediately get flustered after Dream hug her.

"Dream... Everyone is watching!"

"Well, You hug me when I asleep. What's the difference when I'm awake?"

Dream raise a good point. The other doesn't want to see the sweet atmosphere that Dream and Lily Created. So, They tried to avoid looking at them.

"Haha. Well, Go talk with President and the other. I'm going to think about something."

"Yes."

Dream release Lily from his arm. Lily immediately went to the back to talk with the other. Dream face changes. He look more serious as he was drown at his own thought.

Instantly, Everyone recognize that They must not disturb Dream.

And Dream is currently thinking to make a new technique. After all, The third form of Yoga is something he never uses before.

Dream grab a juice in the cooler. Dream take a look at the girls and see them sleeping.

"They're asleep huh. I should went ahead and sleep too..."

Dream take a chug at his juice and went to sleep.

They fly for another 3 hours. As soon as they arrived at the island, They immediately woke up.

They moved their body and a c***k can be heard.

"Oh that felt good..."

All of them follow Elaine down. As soon as they step outside the plane, They see a luxurious Villa by the beach.

It's a beautiful scenery that even Dream was standing still to admire. Dream is standing to admire the Blue sea, The sand, The trees. Everything. It really is a beautiful scene to see.

Once he realize, He is at the back. People already running to the villa.

"Oi! Wait!"

Dream ran to caught them.

"So this is my room?"

Dream said while looking a luxurious room. There's a lot of space for Dream alone. So, The first thing Dream do in the island is. Bathe.

After Bathing, He immediately go outside and meet The other.

Dream saw all of the girl is lining up. Like they're about to fight something. And Elaine suddenly said.

"Dream. You're going to fight all of them at once. It's a great training for you and for them."

Elaine said. Dream doesn't look amused at that.

"Alright miss... I don't like it because I don't like hitting woman so, I'm going to try my best."

Elaine surprised hearing that fact. Dream ignored her and immediately put his fighting stance. Everyone also immediately put their fighting stance.

Due to the beauty of the surrounding, They decide to not use any of their weapon so that they can't destroy anything.

Dream look very serious from the start. With a smile on his face he intimidate the girls.

"I'm Coming!"

Dream announce. The girls immediately take a guard immediately. But, Dream just stood there. Which surprised them.

Before charging in to attack, Dream decided to attack their mental first. When they hear Dream said he's coming, They put their guard up. But, Seeing Dream just standing there, Make them Lower their guard.

As Soon as Dream see that opportunity, Dream charged at them. He Disappear and Re appear in front of them. Lily noticed what he's going to do and Try to attack him.

Dream stop immediately and jumped back. He pulled his fist as soon as he stopped moving.

Lily, Eis, Sylvie, July. Charged at Dream at 4 different Direction.

"It's time, To apply my new movement!"

Dream finally started moving fast and random. There's no timing for them to try and attack. Dream constantly moving, jumping and crouching.

They try to attack Dream but, It never landed. They started to get exhausted after chasing Dream around.

"Stop Bouncing around!"

Lily finally snapped. She glowed with a bright orange light. She use her Chaos Essence to keep up with Dream movement.

Eis, Sylvie and July is surprised seeing that. Elaine and Dream was Pleased seeing Lily using it.

"Then I should use mine too!"

Dream also started to glow bright orange. They started to panic seeing Dream use his Chaos Essence.

For starter, The chance of them winning is almost 0. With Lily using her Chaos Essence the chance of them winning increase. If Dream doesn't uses his. Now that Dream use his Chaos Essence, The Chance of them winning become 0.

But, They still fighting. Which is really Respectable knowing you about to lose but still fight with your all.

Dream movement started to become his normal movement. No more bouncing around. He stopped in place and took his stance.

"I'm Coming."

Dream said once again. They raise their guard seeing it. Suddenly, Dream Vanished. Lily immediately search for his presence.

They looked around but found nothing. No body can sense Dream. Lily even with her Chaos Essence, Can't look for him.

Dream appear right behind July. Because They were split around, Dream can take them one by one. Started with July.

July panicked and punch Dream. Dream touch her palm gently. Then, she fall to her knee.

Dream manipulate the power inside her body to make her leg not work.

"What? My knee?"

Said July while looking Surprised. Dream immediately moved toward Sylvie.

She calmly observe Dream movement. But, It's too fast for her. Dream appear right in front of her. She immediately jumped back. Dream caught her leg with his leg and trip her to the ground.

Dream moved toward Eis. She immediately pre fire her attack. She Immediately punch to the front.

"Not good President. If you Pre fire like that, It's easier for people to counter."

Dream gently swipe her hand away. Then hit her couple of time lightly.

"Boo!"

Dream was surprised seeing Lily right behind him.

Dream panicked and try to elbow Lily. Lily Ducked and put her hand on Dream chest. Power started to flow to her palm. She struck Dream with all of that power.

"Lily Original: Energy Blast."

Lily was certain it was working. But sadly for her, Dream vanished.

"Phantom Step."

Dream announce to her. Dream is behind Lily with his fist pulled.

Dream swing his fist toward Lily back. Then She turned around calmly. She's inviting Dream to hit her.

Dream stopped his attack because he doesn't want to hurt his lover.

"There's an opening!"

Lily immediately jumped at Dream and Kissed him. Lily too doesn't want to hurt her lover.

Dream was surprised by her action.

"Hwa?!"

After Lily kissed him, He let out a dumb voice. Everyone immediately surprised by her action too.

Dream was dumbfounded on the ground. The only thing in his mind is the Fact that Lily just kissed him. Dream immediately went red.

Lily look at him and say something with a teasing tone.

"So, This mean I win right?"

Dream was silence. Then he finally brought back to his mind.

"Lily... That's not fair..."

"Sorry! I win though right?"

"Sure... You win..."

Dream is still red. He accepted the fact that he lost to Lily.

"Well well, How the prodigy lost just because of a kiss"

Elaine said while walking toward Dream.

"Shut up... It's rare for Lily to do that. I was just taken by the cuteness of her..."

Dream said. Elaine giggle with an annoying face and said.

"Well well, Don't worry about it. I notice that when she walked away that she's also really red. Still though, Chaos Essence really made you stronger huh. Should I gave you my usual training regime?"

What Elaine mean here is the training she does now. Not like when she was his age. The difficulty is skyrocketed from before. Dream was Interested at her suggestion.

"Yes. I want to try your training Regime miss."

"Good. 5 AM Tomorrow, Meet me near the sea."

After that, They went inside the villa. Dream bathe once again before eating dinner.

"Miss... What is this?"

While the other people is eating a high quality meat, Dream was served only vegetables. Lily was worried about Dream.

"This is my diet you know? If you want to train like me, Might as well go all out."

"Yeah... But doesn't the training start tomorrow? So why do we start it tonight?"

"So you know what to eat before hand. I'm not going to force you train and let you eat salad for the whole time. At least I want to warn you."

Elaine said. Lily look more worried hearing that. Dream look pissed and said.

"I messed up huh..."

He then chomp on the salad. For the whole time he was here, He's going to eat only salad. He will change after this week.

"Dream, Are you going to be okay?"

"Don't worry Lily. I'm going to be okay. It's not like I'm going to die. Right miss?"

Dream look at Elaine. He was asking if he's going to die by the end of the week. Elaine look at another direction avoiding eye contact.

"Wait, Am I actually going to die?"

The rest of the night went well. They have some fun playing card game.

5 AM the next day. Dream already up with all of his equipment. He went to the beach wearing a wet suit.

"So Miss, What are we doing this morning?"

Elaine is also wearing a diving suit.

"We're just going to swim around the island."

"Oh Yeah? Now I'm excited."

When the training is in the water, Dream loved it. After all, Dream really like being in the water.

Without any word said, Dream immediately go to the water. Then he float around to wait for Elaine.

"Dream, Let's go!"

Hearing That, Dream immediately followed behind Elaine.

For 2 hours straight, Dream and Elaine do a freestyle. Elaine is quite impressive looking at Dream because he can keep up with her. Even after all of that, He doesn't struggle to breath.

"Can Keep going Dream?"

Elaine ask. Dream, Without hesitation answer.

"Yes. I still can."

"Then Let's started running."

Elaine immediately dash. Dream chased behind her.

'Hee... This is incredible. To Have a friend that train with you is fun!'

Without noticing, Elaine become faster. Dream who doesn't want to lag behind, Increase his speed to match Elaine.

They are running in the sand barefooted. Because Dream isn't that used running on sand, It slow him down. But, Little by little, He started to get used to it.

"Let's see. Dream, Why don't we make a bet?"

"What bet?"

Dream was interested in the bet. He was hoping the bet is something interesting.

"Let's see who's faster. If you win, I'm going to let you eat like the rest of the girls."

"Deal!"

Immediately, They increased their speed even further. Dream neck to neck with Elaine.

Then, Dream went even faster. It's surprised Elaine. She immediately try to catch Dream up. But, As She get closer to him, He goes even faster.

But, Elaine doesn't want to lose to her own student. So she immediately use her Chaos Essence.

She immediately pass Dream. Dream saw that as a challenge. So He also use his own Chaos Essence.

But, 5 Chaos Essence vs 1 Chaos Essence. The winner is clear. Elaine arrived at the villa first. With Dream closed behind her.

"I win!"

Elaine said while looking at Dream. Dream is on the ground breathing heavily.

He can't talk because he's really tired. Elaine took a pity on Dream and said.

"You know what Dream, How about I let you win? After all, I won because of my Chaos Essence."

"I don't like taken pity on but, I accept it."

With that, The morning part of the training is over. Elaine left Dream laying on the front door.

"Damn it! Just Wait miss. I will won next time..."

Dream set out his new goal. To Defeat Elaine. The strongest Protector alive.

And to achieve that goal, He need to train harder and search for more Chaos Essence.

Dream stand up from the ground and head back to the sea. He dove in the water and arrived at the bottom.

'Let's see if something come.'

Dream cut his hand. Blood started to go out and be one with the water.

'Master, What are you doing?'

Yoga suddenly talk to Dream. Dream answered.

'I want to spread my blood and hoping something will come after tasting my blood. Doesn't powerful monster like a powerful blood?'

'Is that so?'

Dream gave Yoga a quick explanation about his intention.

What Dream said is correct. It's the quickest way to call strong monster to him by cutting his hand and let the blood spread to the water. Because Dream has a Chaos Essence in him, It made his blood really strong. Which can also attract something at that level.

And instantly, A lot of sea creature started to swim toward Dream. All of them seems really strong.

In water, You can't freely use your body. So this is also a great form of training.

'Yoga, You think the new form is great underwater?'

'Master, it depends on how you use it. If you know how to use it, Even in the sky the third form is good.'

'Then, Yoga. Let's do this.'

'Aye master.'

The water, Filled with a black mist. Little by little, that black mist swirl around and move toward Dream. It keep swirling until it stop in front of Dream. Dream move his hand toward the swirling blackness. He clench his fist while his mind saying.

'Come. Orb of Avaritia.'

Suddenly, That swirling black mist formed into a ball. A pitch black ball. Driven by the urge to become stronger, The majestic Black Orb, Shall give you power of what it absorbed.

The black orb is floating around Dream. It's going around like it was protecting Dream from any attack that could hit him.

Dream seems fine in the water. He's not longing for oxygen yet. So, He heavily step forward. Along with a grin on his face, He step forward again. Feeling that bloodlust, The monster immediately swim really fast toward Dream.

'The essence of the Orb is to Steal any attack that was launched toward me and make it possible for me to use it again if I use the orb.'

With that in mind, Dream let every monster charged at him. Dream keep evading all of the charging creatures easily.

Finally, something shoot him with a water.

'Hoo, It can shoot water with a high pressure. It's a nice addition to my new attack'

The orb, Moved forward to the high water pressure. It absorbed the attack. Dream grabbed the orb.

'How about you taste your own medicine?'

Dream shoot out a water with a high pressure. He shot a multiple at once. Which annihilate the monster that gave him that skill.

Dream was amused by that. The Urge for finding a new skill become stronger. Without realizing, He let out a really intense killing intent. Which scares everything away.

'Aw... I messed up...'

Dream was disappointed by that. So he decided that was enough playing. It's already 1 hour since he started. So he doesn't want to be in the ocean floor any longer.

He pushed himself with all of his power. Leaping from the water to the beach.

As he was in the air, He saw everyone there. He was surprised seeing them in the beach looking really worried. Obviously, They were more surprised seeing Dream leaping out from the water.

"Wait, What happen? Your faces saying that you saw something really dangerous."

Dream joke around after landing to the sand. He approach the people that was really surprised seeing him.

Lily let out an angry face and she talk with an angry tone.

"Dream... What are you doing inside the water??? Don't you feel an intense bloodlust coming from it?"

Dream immediately look awkward.

"Etto... Actually. I was actually testing my new form... And that bloodlust is from me..."

Everyone immediately felt shocked.

"What do you mean it's coming from you?! I thought there was a lord type monster in the water you know?!"

Elaine is mad too. Dream immediately looked down to the ground.

"I'm sorry... I never thought that my bloodlust is leaking..."

"Well.. As long as you-"

As Elaine was forgiving Dream, She was cut off.

Suddenly, An intense bloodlust coming from the sea.

"Again?!"

"So that what you feel huh..."

Apparently, The same bloodlust rise from the sea. The reason why Dream can't feel it before is because his bloodlust rivaled of that bloodlust.

"Interesting... So this is a lord of the sea huh..."

A giant Dragon head rising from the sea. Then, 2 more rise up. There's a total of 3 head of the Sea Dragon.

"Tch! It's Leviathan. The Lord of the Sea..."

Elaine was a little bit scared because of the presence of the Lord of the Sea. The strongest Creature that rule the sea.

Seeing Elaine scared, Make everyone scared. Except for 1 person.

"Haha! Finally you come out! As expected, My blood really tasty ain't it?"

Dream smiled looking at Leviathan. He doesn't get affected by the presence of the Sea lord.

Dream with a great excitement, Step forward. Along with the Orb of Avaritia floating around him he stared at the great Leviathan.

The second Chaos Essence is right in front of him. Dream won't back down before taking it.

Leviathan, Didn't seems to be amused by Dream. He scream with all might trying to intimidate him. But, It's Dream.

"Haha! Great! I'll kill you and take the Chaos Essence!"

Dream grab the Orb of Avaritia from the air. And he shoot out a bunch of really high pressured water.

"What was that?"

People around Dream was wondering about that. But, Dream gave it no attention. For now at least.

The Leviathan, Evaded all of the water. Dream jumped with all of his might and change the orb to chains.

He immediately swing his chains with all of his might. The Leviathan easily evaded it with a fast movement. Dream immediately wrapped his chain to the left Leviathan head. He swing his chain and get to its head.

He changed from the chains to halberd. He immediately unleashed his technique.

"Dream Style: Sky Eater!"

Dream strengthened his arm with Body Strengthening. Then He swing the halberd by the tip of the handle and swing it down with all of his might. Splitting the sky, sea and the left head of the Leviathan.

"GUSHAAA!"

The Leviathan was surprised knowing one of the head been split in half. The two of the head immediately try unleashed a water breath.

"Gotcha!"

The Halberd Change into an Orb. The orb was floating in front of Dream. It absorbed the Water breath.

Dream immediately jumped back to the ground and regroup with the rest of the student council.

They were surprised by the sudden power increase of Dream. He easily cut Leviathan in half and the Leviathan attack doesn't work on him.

"Great Great! Give me more!"

As Dream charged toward Leviathan once more, Everyone followed him.

He smiled a bit knowing that there's a teammates right behind him.

All of them get their weapons out. Lily let out her Wings and Fly. Everyone jumped toward the Leviathan.

Dream moved toward the Right head while the rest of them moved toward the middle.

The Leviathan unleashed another water breath from both the head. Lily's group panic and try to evade it.

Dream grab the Orb of Avaritia and unleashed 2 Water Breath. Both of the Water Breath cancelled each other. Lily fly toward the head in an incredible speed.

"Phantom Strike!"

An invisible punch strike the middle head of the Hydra. Elaine managed to put the aggro of the Leviathan on her. Lily move to the blind spot of the Leviathan which is the back of it.

"Domain of Ice!"

Eis Thrusted her sword to the water and Freeze it to make a platform for everyone to step on.

"Ice Needle!"

From the Frozen Water, Needles made from Ice emerged around the Ice. The purpose of it is not to attack the Leviathan.

"Dream, Another Water Breath Please!"

Eis ask Dream. Dream doesn't know what she's planning so, Dream let out one more Water Breath.

While The water is flowing, July cut Eis Needles and Sylvie Throw it to the water.

Dream finally caught onto what her intention.

"I'm the Ice Princess. I control the Ice. 'Domain of Ice!'"

The needle pieces that were thrown into the water made the froze. Along with the Leviathan that get hit with the Water.

"GUSHAA!"

Lily changed from her wings into her katana.

"Katana of Temperantia Skill: Light Sharpness."

Her katana immediately glow white. She want to end it in one strike. So she use her Ultimate Skill.

"Lily Original: Half Moon s***h!"

She s***h the Leviathan Middle Head right off. Because of the Ice Eis made, It can't move so, It really make it easier for Lily to s***h.

Dream change the orb into chains and grabbed the Leviathan last head. Its trying to break free from Dream chains but, It's futile. He keep tightened the Chain until it finally decapitated the last head.

Blood spurted everywhere. Dream was bathe by the glory of the Leviathan blood. As he smiled letting the blood dripping down his body.

After the blood stopped, he c***k a hole in the ice and take a quick dip to wash the blood.

As he go back up, People were gathering around him. The Leviathan corpse turned into dust. And a orange orb fly to each person. Elaine now have 6 Chaos Essence, Dream and Lily have 2 Chaos essence and The rest of the Student Council have 1 Chaos Essence.

They feel a sudden surge of power from their body. Along with an orange light enveloping their body. After some times, The light fade away.

"Aw crap..."

Dream sway left and right. Lily was scared looking at him and immediately caught him.

"Dream?!"

Lily panicked looking at him. But, Elaine calm her down.

"Lily, He's just tired. Remember, He doesn't come back after training. So, He probably doesn't have any food or water in him."

"Ah right!"

They went back to the Villa. It's already lunch time so, They also have lunch.
