Chapter 33: Sharp Turn.

They arrived at Nova. Dream walked out and see the road was covered in snow. And it still snowing.

"Ah... We can't use car like this..."

Elaine said. Dream already know that would happen so he get ready to run all the way to the Academy.

"Well then. I'll see you all in the Academy!"

Dream use his Stealthy steps and ran straight to the Academy without leaving any mark in the snow.

"Ah! He's gone already."

Elaine said. Lily get ready to leave as well. She summon her Wings of Caritas and get ready to fly away.

"Ah Lily! Bring Hilda with you as well."

"Alright!"

Lily hold Hilda by her hip.

"Hilda! You're so slim!"

"Eh? Thank you!"

And then, They fly away toward the Academy. As for Elaine. She use the same tactic that Dream use. Run without touching the snow.

In the end, They all arrived at the Academy at the same time. And obviously, Every time Dream arrived to the Academy from some sort of Trip. Ray is already there.

And now, Ray jumped toward Dream while swinging his sword. Dream immediately summon his Halberd and swing it toward Ray.

Their weapon hit each other. Leaving a strong gust of wind that blow away all the snow near them.

"Nice try Ray. But I'm still stronger!"

"Haah... Why does my attack never worked on you?"

"I don't know. Don't ask me about that."

Their weapon vanished and they started talking like usual.

"Glad to see you back."

"Well, I'm glad to be back."

Hilda cheeks somehow blushed after seeing the two of them greet each other. Lily who still holding her on the hip, Try to ignore Hilda expression.

"By the way Ray, Can you use your Aurora Mark to clear the snow? It's gotten really annoying you see."

"Sure."

Ray hands glow red. Then, The snow split and make a way into the Entrance to the Academy.

"Thank you."

Dream walked toward the Academy alongside Ray. Everyone follow behind him. Lily put Hilda back down and she started looking around the Academy.

But first thing that Dream do is. Change his clothes. Even though he had a resistance to coldness, He doesn't want to be seen wearing a clothes that has a thin fabric and get called 'Weirdo'.

So after he change his clothes into a slightly thicker fabric he went to the Student Council Office to meet up with everybody.

He open the door to the office and greeted everyone who's already there.

"Hello! How're you all doing?"

"Welcome back! We've been good!"

Jasmine answered. Krim nodded. Both of them smiled after seeing Dream healthy figure. Not that is necessary. But they just thought that it was appropriate to do that.

Dream immediately sat down at his chair. And they started chatting about the progress.

"So how's the progress? Any problem that you guys encounter?"

"No. It's been smooth as far as the Competition goes. The equipment is already arrived, The trophy and certificate also arrived. So we only need to wait until the Competition started."

Jasmine handed Dream the report. Dream read it and smiled.

"Good Job."

Dream said. He let out a really great leader aura. Everyone was surprised by that. They didn't think Dream has that some sort of aura.

Then, Elaine took some sort of paper and read it to everyone.

"So, Now that Dream is here. We should talk about this."

Hearing that, Dream turned around and look at Elaine. Everyone let out an awkward face while looking at Dream.

Dream and Hilda doesn't have any clue what's happening. But Dream can feel some sort of weird feeling that come from the Paper that Elaine is holding.

And also, He can feel some sort of bad aura around Lily when Elaine about to read the Paper.

"Dream. Hear this properly."

Dream nervously nodded.

"This letter come from the Princess Nanae Nova."

Lily let out a bloodlust. Dream get chills and he look at Ray. Ray smiled awkwardly at Dream and look away from Dream.

'W-What happened?!'

'Master... Keep calm. Don't freak out and keep calm. Control your breathing and keep calm!'

Yoga try to keep Dream calm as usual. But that doesn't stop Dream from shaking on his chair. Hilda look very confused while the rest of them look at Dream with sympathy.

"Dear Sir Dream. My name is Nanae Nova. The first princess of Nova kingdom. Right now I'm 18 Years old. And I'm currently searching for a man to marry! And currently, My eyes was set on you. Please reply this letter with your answer!"

Dream was scared. Not because the letter but because of Lily.

"So how are you going to answer Dream?"

"I don't want it! I work so hard to gain freedom like this and I won't throw away something that I work for a long time."

Dream said with full confidence.

"Well, In that case go write the letter! I will personally hand it to her."

Elaine said. Dream immediately hesitate. The atmosphere was tense. There's no way out of this. Everyone thought.

But Dream still try to escape this hellish situation.

"Lily. Can you help me? I don't know how to do it."

Dream said. He immediately went to his last resort. Which is let Lily handle it. But, It seems like that doesn't work.

"How about no? Write it yourself!"

Lily said. Dream immediately get pissed by the situation.

"You know what. I don't care. I don't care what happened anymore."

Dream stand up and leave the room. Everyone was shocked by that and immediately try to calm him down.

"Dream! Where are you going?"

"Leave me be! I'm going to the Castle."

"Why?!"

Everyone panicked after hearing Dream going to the Castle.

"Of course. Having a talk with everyone there."

After they tried to stop him, Dream vanished from their eyes. Dream get serious and go undetected.

"Lily! Immediately go chase Dream! Tell him your plan!"

"Eh?! But that's too quick ain't it?!"

"It doesn't matter! If you let him get away, He's going to destroy her heart!"

"Eh?! Okay!"

Lily immediately summon her wings and fly toward the Castle. Along the way, She tried to find Dream presence but, Dream has erased all his presence and he go undetected. Even she can't find Dream presence who's known to have a really big presence.

Then, After she arrived at the Castle, She saw Dream sitting on a bench with a girl with some distance.

The girl right now is talking and Dream was listening. For a second, Lily felt relieved. But she quickly fall down toward both of them.

The girl had a silver hair and blue eyes. Her hair is quite long. She had quite a big chest. And the owner of that is The first princess of Nova Kingdom. Nanae Nova.

After Lily fall down, Nanae and Dream look at Lily.

"Oh my, Ms. Lily."

"Wait a minute princess. Can I talk to Dream for a moment?"

"Sure!"

Dream was wondering what's Lily going to talk about. So, Dream immediately follow her to the side and speak to her.

"So what's up?"

"Listen Dream... I've talk about this with Jasmine and Hilda. Why don't you make a harem?"

Dream nodded. Then he realize what actually she said.

"What? Can you say that one more time?"

"Why don't you make a harem?"

Dream was shocked after hearing her statement.

"Can you tell me why do you want me to have a harem?"

"You see, Miss Elaine told me that You're the vessel for Chaos. If that's true, That mean that You need a lot of people protecting you because, Once Chaos take over your body, We lost our last hope. Not even Miss Elaine can fight you."

Dream nodded.

"I want you to have a harem so that there's a lot of people around you protecting you. What I realize is, When people start hanging out with you, They get a lot stronger. For Example. Ray. He's just a normal soccer player with some fighting ability before. And now? He's in the same level as us! Do you realize what I'm saying?"

"Yes... So what do you want me to do?"

"See, Accept the Princess and I will call Jasmine and Hilda here too."

"Wait, Why are Jasmine and Hilda?"

"You dork! Didn't you see the point that I'm making before?"

"Yes!"

Dream still doesn't know what Lily point is.

"So what I'm saying is, Jasmine and Hilda is in love with you too!"

"Oh... That's what you're saying huh... Well, If you're fine with that, I don't have any problem. After all, I'm just going with the flow of the world. If that's what happening to me, Then let it be."

Dream finally relaxed.

"Now then. I will call Jasmine and Hilda. You go talk with Nanae!"

"Yes Yes..."

Dream sighed as he look at Lily who's flying toward the Academy.

"Damn it... My live has taken a sharp turn!"

Dream went back to the bench and talk to Nanae again.

"So what are you talking about?"

"Listen here Nanae..."

Dream cheeks started to blush... He was getting embarrassed now that he realize what he's about to do.

"Nanae... You know that Lily is my girlfriend right?"

"Yes I know!"

"Then why do you still confess to me then?"

"Etto... Before that, I didn't know. But, When I sent the letter to the Academy, The same night, She come to my room and explain the plan."

Dream eyes lost its light.

"Ah... I see... So she already told you that huh... Well, Now that you know it. You know my answer right?"

"Yes!"

Dream lean forward in disbelief.

"I can't believe I got play like that..."

Nanae chuckled after hearing that. Then Lily comes with Jasmine and Hilda.

"Oh! It look like it went well!"

Lily said. Dream look at her and sigh.

"Well, You know what. Welcome to my life! If you want to protect me from Chaos, Then I won't stop you. So, talk with each other a bit! If you want to know about me. Ask Lily. I'm stressed right now and I'm going to sleep in that tree over there!"

Dream jumped to the tree and slept. Because it's still snowing, They all moved below the same tree that Dream sleep on.

And they talk about Dream personal life.

"Huh? Where is this?"

Dream said. He looked around him and see nothing but blackness. He was floating around that endless darkness trying to look for the exit.

Anxiety filled Dream mind as he can't find any exit after what it felt like eternity in the darkness. Dream face change. Fear started showing in his face. Cold sweat run drips from his body.

Then suddenly, There's two Dream. They both face each other with sad face. The Clone raise his hands and put it on Dream shoulder.

"What... Are you?"

Dream said to his clone. His clone smiled and said.

"I'm you! The real you."

Dream was confused by that. So he decided to talk with it again.

"What do you mean the Real me?"

"As it said. I'm the real you. Do you want to know your real identity? Or not?"

The clone said. Dream immediately fell into dilemma. There's up and down in both choices. But, He felt scared to say yes. So he was leaning toward no.

But, If he say no, He might never get an answer to that. So he gain some courage and said.

"Yes. I want to know!"

"Good. I'm..."

Before the Clone can give the answer. Dream wake up because he felt something.

"What?!"

Dream was shocked by that.

"Crap. Dragons!"

Dream stared at the sky and enhance his vision. Bunch of dragons and wolves on the back. And Dream was pissed because he was so close to learning something about himself.

Then, Lily and the other notice Dream waking up. And Dream notices them looking at him.

So he jumps down from the tree and immediately get asked by the girls.

"What happened?"

"Lily. Call Ray and Miss Elaine here. Dragons and Wolves are coming our way."

"Really? Alright then!"

"Hilda, Jasmine and Nanae. Tell everyone to evacuate quickly. Nanae you tell the people in the castle. Jasmine and Hilda just run around and tell everyone in the city. I will try to hold them back."

Dream said. Then the girls look at him worryingly.

"Are you going to be alright?"

"I'm. So, Please just tell everyone to evacuate. I can't use all my power with a lot of people around."

Dream immediately activate his Leviathan Mark and Chaos Essence. Looking at that, They immediately realize that They would only hold him back. So they scatter to inform everyone.

Dream stares at the sky and his vision was block by the clouds.

"That's annoying."

Dream summon his Halberd of Ira. He hold the Halberd by the tip of the handle.

"Dream Style: Sky Eater!"

Dream jumped and swing his halberd as hard as he could and blow all the clouds away. Revealing a bunch of Dragons ready to attack.

Finally, Lily brought Ray and Elaine to Dream.

"Miss. Have you called both Albert and Fenrir?"

Dream said. He remember that Albert and Fenrir give some sort of ball that when it break, It make a noise that can only be heard by them.

They gave it to them in case something like this happen.

"Yes. I just break it here. So, They will head right here in just a moment."

"Great. Albert and Fenrir will be a great help!"

Dream said. Then Elaine point her finger up.

"Dream. There's Anne."

"So today is the day huh. Where they try to take me..."

Dream said. Now he feel kind of glad that Lily try to warn him about this. So he smiled as he change his halberd into Bow.

"Yoga. Can you add homing function toward the Ultimate Skill?"

'Yes Master! It is possible!'

"Well then. Just aim at the woman. Make sure she's Dead!"

'Yes!'

"Bow of Invidia: Razorsong!"

Big Black Arrow appear. Dream grabbed it and pull it back. The Black Arrow turned into a Bird Shape.

"Fly! Razorsong!"

Dream let go of the arrow. The Bird shaped arrow, Fly toward Anne. And because of the Homing Feature, It will chase Anne until it hits her.

And The Arrow Easily pierces through her body. Anne smiled and fall down to the earth. Once she hit the ground, She's already dead.

"That's easy."

Dream walked toward Anne body without caution. But then, Her body explode into pieces. Dream was caught in that giant explosion.

"Dream!"

Everyone screamed his name as they look at Dream blew away. His left hand is gone and his right leg is gone. His face was badly burned. The bleeding wouldn't stop.

Everyone panicked. Lily try to give Dream potion. She forced Dream to drink the potion. Even by kissing him the wound still doesn't closed.

Then Elaine said.

"This is... 'The Desolator'..."

Everyone look at her and started to ask what is The Desolator.

"You see... The Desolator is a type of substance that when you get hit by it, It can't be healed by potion. So, Because Dream was hit by the Desolator... There's no chance he can recover..."

After she said that. Everyone fell on their knee and look at Dream.

"No... Dream..."

Everyone started crying while looking at Dream. Ray bit his lip until it bleed while crying.

Everyone was really sad thinking that Dream is already dead. But by some miracle. Dream open his right eye.

"O-O..h... Eve...ry..one... Is... He...re..."

Dream stares at the sky. Then, Everyone stopped crying and look at Dream.

"Can... You... Find my... Limbs?"

Dream asked. Suddenly, Elaine comes and put his limbs where it was supposed to be.

Dream hold the pain and speak like usual.

"Thank you."

Dream activate his Leviathan mark and turned into water. His limbs suddenly put back together. But, The condition is still bad.

"Ah... Healing doesn't work."

Then, Dream passed out. Everyone go back crying. Ray pick Dream up and lay him down below a tree. Elaine just looking at Dream while gripping her fist.

"Ah. I'm back at this world."

Dream said while looking at the endless Darkness. Then, His clone go back out and speak to him.

"It seems like you're in a pretty bad spot."

"Yeah. It seems so. But now, Can I ask who am I really is?"

"Ah Right. That b***h disturb us. We're Chaos. The being that was supposed to bring destruction into this world."

Dream was shocked.

"What?! I'm Chaos?!"

"Calm down me. It's true that We're Chaos. But, We're different from the other Chaos Bringer."

"What do you mean?"

Then Suddenly. They sat down together.

"You see. For Chaos, They're divided into different element. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Darkness. In order to know which Chaos is which, You can just see with what element they're bringing chaos with."

Dream nodded as he understand.

"The Last Chaos that appear. Have a Light Element. So it attack using light. And for us. We're not in there."

"What do you mean?"

"We're the Chaos of the Void. Which mean that We can't bring chaos like the normal Chaos Bringer. Our purpose is to stop the other Chaos Bringer with our Void Element."

"Void?"

"Yes. This Empty space that you're looking at. Is our power. Our place. Our element. We use this power to stop the other Chaos Bringer from using their power."

Dream was shocked after hearing all of that.

"Is that so? But I feel like that goal is impossible to reach now..."

"Why?"

"I'm in a state of life or death. My wound is incurable."

Dream said while looking sad. He thought about the people that he will leave. Lily, Luna, Miles, Shia, Harry, Elaine, Ray, Jasmine, Hilda, Nanae and Everyone that he close with.

"Don't worry about that me. We're the Void. Nothing can win against the Void. Remember, Void can eat anything."

After saying that, Dream clone started to become a particle of light.

"I guess this is it... I hope you're satisfied with this. Goodbye!"

It disappear to become light in the endless darkness. Dream stared at the light and wake up under the tree.

There's no one there. But he can hear a loud crying voice from the bench where he and Nanae sat down.

"Void: Sen!"

Dream chanted. Suddenly, The aura around him become heavy. Dark cloud started to formed around him. Everyone who felt that immediately look at him.

"Dream?!"

Everyone panicked looking at that. But then, the cloud swallowed Dream whole. Dream was covered in a pure darkness.

Dream stand up. Revealing a Black cape that covered his body. His Face was back to normal. Elaine get chills and sweat intensely.

"T-This Presence... Chaos?!"

Elaine said. Hearing that Everyone was shocked. They immediately grab their weapon and pointed at Dream. But, No one dares to attack. Even if it's Chaos. They're still in Dream body.

Dream look at them with his dark eyes. Black Orbs started appearing and fly around Dream.

Then, Dream open his mouth. People doesn't know that if this is Dream. So they take cautious. Anything that Dream does, They raise their guard.

"Why is everyone scared? It's just me you know?"

"Wait Dream?! You have your consciousness despite being one with Chaos?!"

Elaine was in pure shocked after seeing Dream.

"What do you mean? From the start, I'm Chaos! To be exact, I'm Void Chaos. And My purpose in life is to stop other Chaos Bringer to try and destroy this world."

Everyone was dumbfounded by Dream word.

But they know that it was the usual Dream Enpierce.

"Sen!"

Suddenly, The darkness that cloaked Dream disappear in just an instant. Dream body look like a normal body. He's regenerate completely.

"I'm back by the way."

Dream let out a happy smile. Everyone jumped toward Dream and hug him. Dream let them hug him. Because in the darkness, He understand how important this people to him. Even Hilda and Nanae that he just met.

Being loved by people teach him how to be a better people. So he will try to do his best to love all of them equally.

Elaine look at Dream and thought to herself.

'Dream power... Is Unlimited?! I always thought that he will become the strongest in the world no, In the universe. But not like this...'

Elaine grab a rock and throw it with all her power. But, Before the rock even hit Dream, It shattered like there's something protecting Dream.

"Ah By the way, Where's Albert and Fenrir?"

Dream asked Elaine.

"Ah, They're already gone. They say their thanks toward you for making their kin free again."

"Ah Great then. I should visit them once I got the time."

Dream said. After that, Everyone scatter once again and Dream was really tired. So he immediately went to the Academy and sleep.
