CHAPTER 3

ARIELLE POV

I can't believe this man. After giving him a little hint that I can't stay here or else his pack will be in danger he still refuse to let me go. I know I should feel warm and happy because my mate wants me but I can't feel that because I don't deserve him. He needs a strong woman who is beautiful and confident and that

woman isn't me.

Truth be told His is different from what I imagined him to be. I have heard stories about him, how cold hearted he is, his ruthless behavior and how brutal he can be. I had pictured him to be ugly and old but wow his looks like he comes from another planet. He is the most handsome man I have ever seen. Let's not even talk about his body, gosh I'm trying my very best not to jump on him and his voice, thank God am on the hospital bed because I don't think I will be able to stand.

He has been nothing but kind since I woke up but I can't let that get to me. No way. Arielle focus you have to get out of here.

I prayed for an opportunity to get out here and I think the goddess was on my side today. He left to see the doctor and immediately he left I used the opportunity to remove the IV and jump from the bed. My legs were weak and my ankle was still aching me a little but that didn't stop me. I opened the door to observe my environment and when I saw the coast was clear I moved. I was about to open the entrance door to the hospital when I heard a loud growl and then I heard Alpha Chris barking orders to find me immediately.

I didn't need anyone to tell me twice, I quickly started running. I didn't know where to go next I just ran to where ever my legs carried me to. People who saw me running thought I was actually crazy and gave me strange looks well not like I care about my looks I just need to find a way out of here. I decided to follow the route that leads to the forest in order to avoid being caught by someone who sees me. I kept running till I finally got a glimpse of the pack boarder. My speed increased. Finally I will soon be out of here. So I thought.

My wolf wasn't actually happy with the decision I made. She wanted her mate but I can't give her that. She should understand that if we stay we will bring nothing but problems to this pack.

As I was to cross the border, from no where a strong breeze hit me and I fell. Wait a minute it wasn't a breeze but actually a person, a male for that matter. I was actually furious at the person. Why does this i***t have to ruin my plans. He quickly stood up and blocked my path.

"Sorry Miss but I can't let you go anywhere" he said in a very serious voice.

"What's your deal with me, I don't know you and you don't know me so let me leave this instance or there will be consequences" I replied glaring at him.

But guess what? he didn't move an inch infact he wasn't affected by my threat. Don't I look scary? Why isn't he scared.

" Sorry Miss but you have to wait for my Alpha"

What the hell. This dude prove to be loyal to his Alpha. This means no escaping. But you know what, I never back down.

" Alright let's wait for your Alpha. Don't worry relax I won't go anywhere"

" Are you sure you won't move Miss" he asked suspiciously.

I just smiled sweetly and replied him

" you don't have to worry about me besides I'm very tired of running I need to rest"

I pretended like I was about to sit on the floor then I ran pass him. Such a fool I thought as I was about to cross the border. But guess what. I was pulled like a paper before I could cross the border. From the sparks I felt on my waist I knew Chris have found me.

" Where the hell do you think your going to, little mate I thought I told you I'm not letting you go. Why are you so stubborn." He said giving me a pointed look.

He actually looked worried and relieved at the same time. Was he really scared that I left. He searched my body for any scars but relaxed when he found non.

" Thanks Blake for informing me immediately" he said to the guy who was the cause of everything the reason I was caught.

" Not a problem Alpha" he answered in a very serious tone. Come to think of it this guy has always been serious since I saw him. He has never relaxed, his stance has always been rigid. Try to lighten up a little bro.

" Alpha here is some shorts" someone said from behind us.

That was when I realized that he was actually naked. Can this man be serious what if girls where snooping around? Hold up Arielle what's wrong with you? This isn't the right time for you to be jealous get a grip of yourself.

But how can I control my self when his bare chest looks so hot and shinny. I was really trying everything thing possible not to look down the lower part of his body. So I decided to look else where. Unfortunately for myself, I caught a glimpse at his face and saw a naughty smirk on his handsome face.

"Like what you see little mate. You actually don't have to look away you can stare at what is yours for as long as you can"

The nerve of this guy. What does he take me for. A dog on heat or what.

I just turned with a scowl on my face to give him a bit of privacy.

Before I could say tack, I was in his arms. Yes people he was carrying me like I was a tiny baby.

"Can you put me down I was born with legs to walk and I know how to perfectly use them" I sassed.

But he just chuckled and continued walking. Ahhh the nerve of this guy. He didn't even bother to answer me. When we left the forest and passed some houses, I quickly hid my face on his chest. I didn't want unnecessary attention. I wasn't aware how long we walked sorry he walked because I wasn't. The next thing I heard was a door opening. Have we arrived? I lifted my head to check and I was mesmerized by what I saw in front of me. This place looks like a castle. A beautiful one at that. The entrance was endowed and the walls were shinning. The staircase which was in the middle looked like royals will step down any moment from now. The carpet were gold in color and designed beautifully. This place really looks very beautiful and screams perfect.

Alpha Chris began to walk towards the sacred place sorry I mean the stairs. As he walked, I noticed he passed the first floor and headed up till we reached the second floor. Everywhere was very quiet. I'm sure I can hear my voice echo if I make a sound. He turned to the east wing and opened a massive door that had a beautiful decoration on it then he entered. Immediately we entered I knew this was definitely his room. Everywhere was black from the curtains to the bedsheets to the wall to the tiles on the floor all black. And it smelled like him.

He laid me on the bed and went over to a large walk-in wardrobe. I still haven't recovered from the shock of how beautiful this castle looking. I was still looking around.

" Close your mouth little mate. Not that there is flies around but we just have to be cautious" Alpha Chris whispers in my ears.

I was startled. When did he get here. I wanted to give him the piece of my mind for walking on me but immediately I looked at him my words were stuck right in my throat. He had changed to a loose black shirt and a pair of black jean trouser but gosh he looks hot as hell. Whoever created him really took time. It's actually a sin for a handsome specimen like himself to be born. But I can't tell him that.

"Little mate I know I said you can stare at me for as long as you want but can you close your mouth saliva is dripping." He said with a smirk.

Wait what? I can't believe I was caught ogling at him. Arielle what wrong with you. Why must you embarrass your self. I wish the ground will open and swallow me.

"I have seen better" I lied to safe my self esteem.

"Are you sure little mate" he asked with a mischievous smirk that wasn't helping matters because he still looks hot as hell.

" Your looks says otherwise"he added

I huff in frustration. The nerve of this man.

" Where is the restroom" call me a coward but I need to get out of here before I die if embarrassment.

He laughed at pointed at a door next to the wardrobe. I quickly jumped from the bed and ran. Before shutting the door I heard him chuckle. Weldone Arielle you just made a fool out of yourself. Before I could start hitting myself I will shocked at how beautiful the toilet and bathroom looks. I don't mind sleeping and eating here because wow this place looks so fine, neat and shinny.

My wolf began to send me dirty pictures of what Chris and I can do in this place. Calm down Arielle deep breaths. You can't lose focus.

I don't know how long I spent there I can only remember touching everything, sitting on the toilet seat, playing with the tap, acting like a model while watching myself on the large mirror and laying down on the bath tub. I wasn't ready to leave this place but I had to when I heard Alpha Chris knocking the door.

When I came out, the sight in front of me made my stomach grumble. Different varieties of food and fruits were right in front of me.

"Come eat little mate, we need to fill you up inorder to cover your bones." He said as he guided me to the bed.

I wanted to give him the answer that I'm not complaining about my size but I couldn't. What if he takes the food away. Hell no I must taste everything in this huge tray. Ladies and gentlemen I digged into this food like a hungry pig. If my mom was here she will be embarrassed because I didn't act like a lady. Not that I care and truly the food was so delicious that I didn't want to stop eating but when I couldn't push it down anymore I had to stop. When I finished I looked up and saw Alpha Chris looking at me with amusement. I totally forgot about him.

I laid down to rest and continued rubbing my big stomach.

"Little mate we need to talk" he spoke but I noticed he was careful with his words.

"About what" I questioned

"About you"

"What about me?"

" You haven't told me anything about you and I really want to know your name and where your coming from and everything about you."
