A Glimpse of Us

Accident

At the morning the same time as before I go to the school I goes to the classroom directly because I think Niña is already there . But when I reach our class Niña wasn't there and then a message pops up on my phone, it was Niña she said , I will be late because they are stock in the traffic.

Because I am bored and there is still time before the class starts I got out of the classroom and walk in the hallway.

As I'm walking in the hallway my classmate in highschool recognize me so he called me by name saying, Hey Luke is that you? Don't you remember me? I'm Mark you're classmate in grade 9. I replied, of course I remembered you, I would not forget how you fool our teachers during exams haha.

I said, By the way what is your course ? he replied, I'm also on the criminology department just like Ella,I replied oh so you already met Ella? he replied, yeah yesterday.

The time for our class is approaching so I said, I'm sorry it's already time for our class.He replied, it's fine let's meet at the canteen later then I said , yeah I'll bring Ella too.

On our class Niña comes late so the professor asked her, Ms. Reyes why are you late? Then she answered I'm sorry but we're stock in the traffic. Luckily the professor believed on what she said and he replied, okay you may now take your seat. As the class continues Niña ask me if she could borrow my handouts because she'll copy , and without further ado I give my handouts to her.

After the class I texted Ella , hey Ella let's have a lunch together we'll be waiting in the canteen. Then she replied, yeah sure see you there don't forget about our deal. Back to the class, I asked Niña, hey Niña wanna eat lunch together again? She replied, sure why not? Ahm is Ella coming too? I replied, yeah I already texted her she said we'll wait for her in the canteen.

On the canteen while we're waiting for Ella I asked Niña if what club she wanna join. Then she answered, I wanna join the sports club .I'm shocked of what she said so I replied, ow so we'll be together even in club activities because I wanna join the sports club too. Ahm what sports do you usually play?She replied, ahmm badminton what about you? I replied, I used to play basketball since pre-school.She said , ow may I watch you play basketball? I replied, sure why not but don't be disappointed I'm not too good at basketball.

Ella is coming towards us together with mark and Tease them saying oops new love team then Ella come towards me with frustrated face and hit me hard . So I said hey wait I'm just kidding why did you hit me that hurts.And then Niña speak hey both of you that's enough let's go order our food . And then Ella said , yeah but before that I want to introduce to Niña our classmate on high school , ahm Mark this Niña,Niña this is Mark, then Ella said hey Luke don't forget about our deal last night.I answered, urghh, alright.

After we eat our lunch Ella and Mark go back to their classroom because they still have classes in the afternoon while Niña and me goes to join the sports club.

We fill up the registration form to officially join the club. After we join the sports club we decided to tour around the school campus .As we're walking in the hallway I asked Niña if there would be chance that she'll enter in a relationship ,and she replied ,uhm it depends to the man who court me if I see that he's sincere maybe I'll say yes but if I that he's not I'll reject him for good.Then i said, oww that's cool.

After awhile I ask Niña , hi Niña I haven't seen you together with another people except us don't you have a friend? Then she sits in the stone chair and said uhm yes I have friends there are a lot of them but when they see my true attitude they just leave me out of a sudden.I said, ow I'm sorry to hear that.Then she replied, no it's okay . Then her phone rang (she walk a distance and answered the phone) after a moment of talking she's back with a pale look on her face , so I ask her who's that and why are you look so down after answering that call?She replied, that's mom she said that dad was involved in the car accident and is now on hospital.

I accompany Niña to the hospital where her dad is admitted .Outside the Emergency room we found Niña's mom crying while waiting for the doctor to come out , Niña approach her and asked, how's dad mom? Her mom replied, I don't know the surgery is ongoing I'm waiting for the the doctor to come out and gasp about his situation. And I said , It's okay Niña I'm pretty sure your dad will be fine . She replied, I hope so . And I said why don't we pray together for your dad's sake?Her mom replied, Yeah let's go that might be a good idea.

After we pray we go back to the emergency room and luckily the doctor come out and said that Niña's dad is on stable condition so there's no need to worry anymore.After hearing that both Niña and her mother hugged me out of a sudden, and saying thank God . After a few hours of staying with Niña I decided to go home because it's already 6:00 PM when I look at my phone.

As I'm riding on my way home I texted Ella about what happen today and she replied ahm how's Nina's dad? I replied, he's fine the doctor said he's on the stable condition now.Then she said thank God that's great, after a while of chatting I arrived at our house.

On our house there are many people I don't know what happened but all of them are seem to have fun , when I enter the house I seek mom and asked,mom what's the occasion why is there so many people outside? Mom replied, it's your uncle's birthday he decided to celebrate it here. Then I said , ow really that's cool? But in all places why on our house? Mom said, because he wants to make your dad happy. I replied, you mean dad asked him to do this? She replied,no not that , your uncle decided to celebrate his birthday on our house because he wants to spend time with our family.I replied,ow that's great ahm I'll go to my room mom and change clothes. She replied , okay don't forget to eat.

On my room I called Ella She answered, hello Luke and I said hi Ella are you free tonight? She replied, yeah why? I said , today is my uncle's birthday he decided to celebrate it on our house so can you come over here? She replied, yeah sure just wait for me in the gate. and I said okay then. See ya.

A moment later Ella arrives wearing a beautiful red dress and puts make up for the first time she looks angelic on what she wears my heart throbs faster the Moment I've seen her . I said I'm shocked on what I am seeing right now you're really beautiful Ella when you became more feminine.Ella replied with a smile ,thank you Luke you look handsome in your suit too. And I said ahm com'on let's go meet mom.

We entered the house and then meet my mom , I said , hi mom Ella is here ,mom replied, ow Ella how are you? It's the first time I see you wearing dress and make up you're so beautiful my dear you and Luke are Likely to be a couple now(with a smile on her ) I replied, enough kidding mom Ella and me are friends and that won't go beyond that, right Ella? Ella replied, yeah we're only friends ( with an embarrassed look on her face). I said , come Ella let's enjoy the night .She replied,yeah sure .

After a few hours Ella bid farewell and said, Ahm it's already 1:AM Luke I need to go home I still have class tomorrow, I replied yeah sure wait I'll accompany you to your house.As we're on the way towards their house my heart throbs faster the moment Ella holds my hand, It's not the first time she holds my hand but now feels different,it feels like she's a different person. Until we reach their house I haven't speak even a single word because I'm embarrassed for no reason. Not until, Ahm it's already our gate Luke thanks for your company.I replied,no don't bother thanking me see ya, ay school tomorrow and then I go home immediately.
