Chapter Eleven
Barbie all but stumbled the last few yards to the barn. She had not gotten much in the way of sleep last night. How could she, what with being tied to a tree almost all of the time? Coming down that hill had been exhausting. At least they hadnt made her carry the pack again. She staggered a little, physically worn out and unbearably sleepy. She was hungry. The little bit of food theyd given her last night had been all she had to eat for many, many hours. Worse yet, she felt sticky and dirty on top of everything. But there was the barn, so near now that she could almost lean against it. She desperately wanted to just go to her cage and sleep. Eating and getting cleaned up could wait.
