Elves of Sorrow

Chapter 4

We are stuck waiting for the current of the river to shift and die down some before we cross so we decided to go ahead set up camp for dinner and maybe even a few hours of sleep looking at our map we are about five miles from the valley meets the river and we are supposed to be able to start see in caves. The caves are about one hundred miles long and there are some many different spots and locations where Freya could of hide that body and God knows where the Hydra is either so we should get some rest and we can start our long search in the morning. We got everything set up and we made something to eat, and we sat there and talked, Dax was sitting there looking a little sad I asked him what was wrong he said, “I miss your sister.” I told him that I understand how he feels, and I hope that we are not here exceptionally long and that we can get home to her soon.

Dax and my brother have been gone for a week already, I miss him so much I feel like something is missing since he is not here, I have been trying to keep myself busy with wedding planning, dress alterations, picking out what house we want to in. I decided to go to the city with my best friend for a few days since it is about a 2 day carriage ride there we are leaving this morning and we should be there in a few days we are going to do some shopping for my new wardrobe I have to look good for my soon to be husband and of course I have to find some clothes to take with my to visit my sister Zoe, she sent a message saying that she found her match he is a prince, he is crown prince and he is due to take the throne in a few weeks, and they are courting he wants to ask my parents and my brother for their blessing before they wed which I think is cool Zoe is 19 so she is able to get married, they are supposed to be here soon, I guess they want to make sure Atlas is here before traveling all this way to visit it is a 2 days travel I believe maybe a little longer I am not sure.

I walk out to the carriage I am looking for my best friend and she is not where to be found, I look  around and I catch her coming out of the house she looks like she was still asleep the maids hand the luggage to the coachman and they put everything on the coaches my parents come out and ask us again if we them to come with us I told them no we will be fine we will be staying at the Windsor Estate and aunt Mae is down the street we will be fine I kissed them and got into the carriage.  We got half way to the city and we stop for the night a little bed and breakfast in The Dunson Kingdom, it was very nice we eat dinner and we sat and talked for a while and we decided to turn in for the night we laid down and went straight to sleep the next morning we got up and eat breakfast before getting back into the carriage to finish our trip to the city.

We finally got to the city and we went straight our estate there and when we got there all the maids and butlers were standing outside waiting on us and my aunt Mae was there as well we got out of the carriage and I ran straight to my aunt and engrossed her with a big hug I have missed her I don’t get to see her too often because she lives her in the city and not near us in the kingdom.  When we finished and they were taking everything inside the house cleaner tell me and my aunt that tea is ready and will be served in the parlor. So, the three of us walk in the house and go and sit in the Parlor, we sat and caught up with my aunt she told me that my cousin will be here tomorrow she had been aboard with her father, and they should be back tomorrow. I was looking forward to seeing my cousin, he was a daddy’s girl and would never let him leave without her. My aunt stayed and had dinner with us before she betted us good night and said she would be back tomorrow to take us shopping. After my aunt left, we stayed up a little bit longer before retiring for the night.
