Alpha Lincoln - Silver Moon Pack

Alpha Aziel I keeled over. I had never felt so much pain as I am in now. What the hell was going on? Hadn't Abby rejected me? If she had, why was I in so much pain right now? I had often wondered what that betta had meant the day he had come here. "You have no idea where she is?" I had racked my business and the library for any clues. But I had come up empty-handed. Abby Lionheart was a mystery. She hadn't shared any of her past life and pack either, she had just been mated to their beta and had run from him, nothing more, nothing less. I have no idea why I lied to him. She was nothing to me. She gave me what I wanted; heirs to continue the family and legacy. But this was the worst pain I'd ever felt. Had Abby felt like this every time that I had cheated on her? Or worse Mathew entered after knocking."Holy s**t alpha, what the hell? " "Get me to the pack doctor." "Sure alpha." "How many times? It's Aziel." "Sure alpha. I mean Aziel "Help me up, Mathew. " He nodded and was by my side, wrapping his arm around my waist to steady me. "Ready?" "As ready as I'll ever be." He smirked, helping me to my feet and out of my quarters. "Why did you come and see Mathew?" "It's a good job I did. 'Mathew!" I said, sternly. "I have news. The trackers have found Abby. She got as far as the Silver Dawn Pack." "Well, what are we waiting for? Let go." He shook his head. "I don't think you should, alpha, you need to get checked out first and foremost before we even entertain the prospect of going there. She may not even be there when we get there." "There's only one way to be sure is to go there." "We will, but first you need to see the doctor about your situation." "Fine, fine." I huffed. Even though I knew he was right. Alpha Lincoln I can't believe I let that rogue in. I've never done it before. She was bleeding so badly I couldn't leave her like that. Her daughter insisted we let them all into our pack as her mom needed urgent assistance. I agreed and now I'm pacing my office waiting for news. Four hours earlier, I was in here with my beta Damion. He believed that she wasn't a rogue and nor were the children with her. He had a gut feeling that she was something more powerful. "Find out all you can about her, Damion. Within the hour." "Yes, Alpha." "You're dismissed." He bowed, leaving the room. She looked so pale and so fragile. If she was a doll I'm sure she would snap. A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. "Alpha, may I come in?" "Please come in, Damion." The door creaked notifying me he had walked in, then it cracked again as he closed it behind him. "Please tell me you have found out what I have asked of you." "Yes alpha." "Tell me everything. " "Yes, Alpha." He took a deep breath and then exhaled. Her name is Abigail Lionheart but she is known as Abby." I nodded. "She belonged to The Great Moon pack until sixteen years ago, when she rejected her beta mate and severed all ties to the pack." "Do you know why she did that?" "She was a gamma, alpha. She wasn't treated well at all. Her mate was one of her tormentors." I nodded understanding her turmoil. Some packs have no respect for the higher rankings, unlike our pack, which treats everyone equally. No matter the ranking. But a gamma was one step down from beta, so why were they treating her like trash? She rejected him and ran." He coughed. "You won't like this alpha. But when she ran, she was with pups to their beta and she ran right into the Rogue Kings layer. He offered her a place to stay if she agreed to be his queen." My fists clenched. That asshole knew just how to twist everything to his advantage. He was cunning and a conniving s**t. I can see from her point of view that she needed a place to stay and protection, agreeing to stay unknowingly. He wanted her to stay there for a reason or he wouldn’t have allowed her to stay. "Why did he agree to her to stay? She had to have something he wanted." I thought loudly. "He did alpha." I looked at my beta. Did I say it out loud? "Yes, you didu alpha." He laughed. Damn. "So what did that prick want with her?" "Something only he knew about, not even her mate knew about." "Out with it, Damion." "She's not who everyone thought and was." "Then who is she?" "She is a descendant of the moon goddess herself, she is one of the rarest of wolves to roam this earth. No one can know of her existence. She is the most powerful wolf of our kind. Wolves will use her just for that." I nodded, taking it all in. "We need to protect her alpha." "Agreed." He gasped. "You're with me? The alpha that never agrees with me, ever. Has Alpha Lincoln finally lost his mind?" He smirked, holding back his laughter. "No, I have not. If what you're saying is true and she is the most powerful wolf to walk amongst us, we need to protect her from predators. I need to see her. Another knock came on the door."Enter!" The door slowly opened, creaking. A young omega nurse stood at the door and bowed. "What is it, Rosemary?" "Pardon me, alpha, but you asked me to come with any news." "Yes, Rosemary." "The young omega that was brought in miscarried alpha, she has a massive haemorrhage. She's lucky we were able to save her, alpha." My jaw tightened, so did my fists because who dared to treat an angel destined to us by the moon goddess? "How did this happen?" My voice filled with venom toward those who dare to cause a most pitiful wolf to lose its pup. "We think she was suffering from the mate bond alpha. He was with another aged wolf and you know… he was.." "We don't need details, Rosemary." "Sorry alpha." "I'd like to see her." "She's with her children, alpha. They are consoling her. It's best to let her rest until tomorrow, alpha." "Sure thanks. You may return to your duties, Rosemary." "Thank you alpha. " She said, bowing her head before leaving and closing the door. "I want everything on that asshole and I will tear him limb from limb for what he has done to something so precious." "I already have alpha. His name is Alpha Aziel of the silver moon pack. He was her second chance mate. He took her in after she ran from her fated and rejected mate. They had two children, two boys. She almost lost her second child. ALPHA?" "How?" "Same way as this one alpha." "He was cheating on her?!" I bellowed angrily. "Something happened once he had his first heir alpha; he no longer respected her; he certainly never loved her as she loved him. He had a mistress. She felt the pain of everything they would mate, causing her to almost kill their child. Now he is claiming this slut as his chosen Luna, alpha." I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. How dare he treat a descendant of the moon goddess like this? She is not trash. She is an angel to be admired and cherished. "I will kill the bastard!" "Calm down alpha, talk to her to get her story first." "I will, Damion. In the morning. Hopefully, by then she'll be up for visitors." No way was I going to let this rest. I needed to know the truth. "Where did you get your information from Damion?" "A very reliable source, but I advise you to talk with her and get the story straight before you start decapitating another alpha." "I intend to."
