I knew I shouldn't be keeping any secrets, but I had no choice. If he had just the slightest incline that a mere gamma daughter was my mate I would be demoted, and I could never let that happen no matter how much my wolf was pining over her.
She was so damn perfect, so f*****g sexy, stubborn and intriguing. She was my opposite but she felt like my mirror. She was so content in herself and what she believed in. She certainly didn't believe that I was her mate, she has no reason not to unless she can't feel the pull like I can.
I can't tell anyone, especially my alpha, he hates them all with a passion, especially her kids. What would he do if he found out she was my me the me I've been searching eons for? He would not only slaughter me but her as well and I couldn't let that happen knowing her secret.
The one secret I could never tell him then one thing he would kill me for never kept anything from him until now but this was different this needed to be kept hidden and away from him he was a greedy bastard who thrived on power I make our pace the strongest and the most ruthless pack but head never get that chance even with serenity by my side or his. I growled at the thought he wasn't ever going to take my mate away from me even if she rejected me as her true mate she would never bow down to him ever she hated him more than she hated me and I don't think she ever meantvtovsho her true self to member true beauty. She shows the characteristics of a Zeta if this is true then so does her brother that means they can choose their own mate they can be mates to one or several wolves.
They get the choice of accepting one mate or all of them and that in itself is daunting what if she is mated to more than one wolf go will all of those wolves feel having to share her I personally don't like sharing even if I have had more than one she-wolf in my bed at me time. I was letting myself be available until I found my mate. Now I have a craving for her and no other she-wolf. I needed to find her and mate her before she found another wild to mate, a growl erupts from me. No way in hell will I let any other wolf mate what is mine.
If what I believe is true and serenity is in fact a Zeta wolf is her not mother to? Is Abby a Zeta wolf? She's hidden her wolf for the past fifteen years and she's claimed many times that she's above us like Serenity has. That can only mean one thing: she would be allowed multiple mates but as far as I'm aware Abby had only one chosen mate who she rejected. Then was her second chance mate; Azaiel and in the he had betrayed her as well just using her as a baby machine. He had gotten what he wanted, an heir to take the throne when they became of age. What if they had powers to? Nah, that's overstepping the mark they are more like their father than Abby he had made sure of that with all of the lies he'd implanted into their heads over the years.
If Abby was some great werewolf that no one knew about we were all in deep s**t this could be the beginning of a new world or the end of our world whatever she chose to come to us. I could not tell Azaiel because that would be the only reason he'd want to take her back and I wouldn't allow all he'd done for the past fifteen years was break her so she was a mere shell of what she was when she first arrived though he was pregnant she was a fearless she-wolf and was a lna in her own right until he had turned everyone against her including Me and other heirs.
“What are you thinking about Mathew?”
“Nothing.” I looked at him. His face was etched with pain. I'd never seen him like this before. He'd been so happy once when he'd found his mate when he had first met Abby then it had all changed overnight like a flip of a coin.
“Are you sure you're okay alpha?”
“I'm fine.” He gritted out in pain.
“No, you're not Alpha, you need to rest or turn back.”
“I'm not turning back.” he continued gritting out angrily. “I'm going to find that b***h and demand her to stop doing whatever she's doing and then I'm going to drag her back and make sure she feels the pain I am feeling right now.”
“At least rest Alpha, we need you to be strong for the journey ahead. We have no idea where she is.”
“Don't you think I already knew that Mathew!”
“I'm sure you do alpha but you need to rest and consume all of your energy for the rest of the journey.”
“We best find her Mathew or your head will be on the line.”
“Sure Alpha you're just angry and tired right now I know you don't mean it.”
“You pissed her brat off and they ran. Why else, wouldn't I have your head? She's meant to be with me matter what. She may not be a Luna anymore but she is still my w***e and can bear my children until I feel I no longer need to use her body for such.”
“She won't agree to that Alpha she almost lost your youngest heir, she won't go through that again.”
“Why do I feel like this Matthew?”
“I don't know Alpha, maybe Abby can fill you in when we find her.”
“I hope so, Matthew I can't take the pain any longer.”
I nodded.
We came to a clearing with a waterfall this will do for tonight so Azaiel can rest up and regain his strength for the hunt for Abby and her brats.
We make our way to the waterfall and change into our human form so we can bathe and return to our wolf form so that we are warm as we sleep.
“I'm going to get her back Mathew.”
I doubt that will happen. She won't allow it to. “I'm sure you will Alpha.”
His scores tell me one thing: he is asleep. I close my eyes and let the darkness surround me.
