Chapter 12 "What the heck!" Patty exclaims with her eyes widening in shock and anger. Glaring hard at Nadia, who is busy devouring a hot plate of noodles. "What the heck do you think you're doing, huh?" Patty yells furiously as she walks over to her and snatches the plate from her. "I was eating that, you know?" She says to Patty with a tinge of anger in her voice. "I am not blind! I saw that you were eating. Who asked you to touch the food in the house?" Patty snaps in rage. "Oh, I have no idea that I have to take permission before I touch anything here. My bad," She smirks at Patty as she rolls her eyes. "Do you think this is your house?" Patty snaps again, breathing hard. "Well, I didn't remember saying that," She shrugs sarcastically, not letting her smirk off her face. It's so easy to piss this girl off and she's going to be doing more of this in the future. "You!" Patty glares at her angrily as she grits her teeth. She feels like slapping her so hard that she'll lose her sense of hearing, but she doesn't want to look like a bad person when her boss finds out. They'll probably think that she's bullying her. "Are you not bullying her?" Her subconscious mind reminds her, and she rolls her eyes inwardly. What if she does "Can I have my food now?" She asks sarcastically as she rolls her eyes. "And what makes you think that I will give you the food?" Patty scoffs. "Because the food was made by me, because the last time I checked you're just a mere maid like myself and..." Raged, Patty raises her hand to slap her, but she catches her hand in mid-air. "Don't tell me you were trying to slap me. Don't ever try that, please. Never in your life," She finally yanks Patty's hand away. "What's going on here?" They were so engrossed in the argument that they didn't even know when Travis walked into the dining moment ago. "Greetings, young master," Patty quickly bows slightly, but he ignores her and turns his attention to Nadia that's now on her feet while holding her gaze low. She looks extremely nervous. "What's going on here? Why the noise?" He asks angrily. "Forgive me, young master. It won't happen again," Patty fidgets as she apologizes to him. Of course, she knows that she won't be spared if it were to be Trevor that walked in on them like this. He'll make sure to punish them till they regret their actions. "And you... You're just here for barely two hours and you're already fighting your colleague. What will happen for the rest of your days here? Are you going to eventually kill yourselves?" He scolds Nadia, and she bites her bottom lip. If only this man is aware of what this b***h did to her, he wouldn't even blame her a bit. Staring at the two of them, he sighs frustratingly. Trevor has finally decided to kill him before his time. Why would he invite trouble to them? They were well to do with Patty being their maid. She has been doing her job diligently for the past three years that she has been working for them, why would he suddenly bring in someone else? "I hate noise. if you two really want to fight, I won't stop you, but please not in here," He says to them strictly before he turns around and strides out of the dining room. He was relaxing in his room earlier before their noise disrupted him, and he doesn't feel like it anymore. Maybe going out to get some fresh air won't be a problem. I said strictly, before walking out of the dining room. A few minutes later in Travis's room He glances at his reflection in the mirror for the last time before he finally picks up his car keys from the bed and strides out of the room. Although he has no idea where he's headed, he just wants to step out of the house for a while and calm his head. Descending the grand staircase and heading to the exit door, Nadia's voice makes him halt. "Sir," She calls him as she walks over to the living room and stands behind him. He turns to face her with a questioning look on his face. "Uhm...what should I do, sir?" She asks as she stares down at her feet while she fondles them with her fingers. "I don't know. Just wait for Trevor to get back. For now, you can just look around the house and get familiar with things while we are away," He says to her before he finally pulls the door open and strides out of the house, while she sighs briefly in relief. At least, she'll have so much time to rest before her work here would begin. Travis walks over to the parking lot and hops in his car before driving out of the compound, heading to God knows where. Driving for thirty minutes straight, he finally stops his car on the flyover and hops out of it. His phone suddenly starts ringing and he rolls his eyes when he sees the caller is Trevor. Why the heck is he calling him now? "What is it, Trevor?" He asks calmly after he slides the answer button. Hoping to hear the voice of his annoying brother, a strange masculine voice sounds through the phone instead, and he freezes on the spot...
