Feeling guilty

Chapter 16 "Ah!" Trevor yelps in pain for the umpteenth time as the doctor treats his injury, while Travis stands looking at them with guilt written all over him. Seeing the pain in Trevor's eyes makes him regret doing this to him, no matter what his offense was. He shouldn't have raised his hand on him but talked about it amicably with him, but his temperament pushed him to this. "Trevor, who the hell did you get into a fight with? When did you start fighting?" Raymond, his best friend who happens to be the doctor, shrieks after he's done treating his injury for him. "I told you that it wasn't something serious. Just stop bothering me. I'm having a headache," He groans as he throws his head back, staring up at the ceiling while sitting on the chair. He has cotton wools in his nostrils to stop the bleeding, and so far, it's helping him. "I should get you some medicines to take. You'll be fine afterward," Raymond says. "No. I don't want to take any medicine. I'll be fine when I have some rest," He quickly snaps his head to look at Raymond, earning a scoff from him. Right from when they were just kids, he had always detested taking medicines, no matter how worse the sickness seem to be. His parents, especially his mom would always force him to take medicines then whenever he fell ill, and it was always difficult to cope with. "How do you plan to get better without the medicines? You can't get better with just resting, dude," Raymond tries to convince him, but he stands up instead. "I told you that..." "Get me the medicines, Ray. He will take it," Travis speaks for the first time in the past ten minutes, and Trevor glances at him with a look that says 'not again, bro'. Of course, he knows that he won't be able to dodge this, now that his brother is involved. Travis would definitely force him to take the medicines later even if he doesn't want to. "Alright, hold on. I will go get it for you," Raymond says as he stands up from his seat, and walks out of the office. Driving down the road a few minutes later, Travis keeps peeking glance at him through the rear glass as an awkward silence reigns in the atmosphere. Should he apologize for what he did, or should he just let this go? "Just let it out already, Travis. You look like you're depressed," He finally breaks the silence as dry scoff tears through his throat. The look on his face doesn't show that he's angry or he's happy. He's just looking like nothing happened. "About what happened... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have raised my hands on you," Travis finally lets out his apologies, earning eyes roll from him. "It's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you," He chuckles softly. "You had to go through that pain because of what I did. I should've controlled my anger. I'm seriously sorry, Trevor. I won't ever raise my hand on you ever again, I'm sorry," Travis finally parks at the side of the road and tilts his head back to look at him. "I will forgive you, if only you will stop stalking me. I'm an adult for crying out loud, you can't keep doing this to me," As much as he wants to scream at him, he comports himself and rolls his eyes. "You look cute when you're feeling guilty, you know?" He smirks at Travis. "Whatever! Do you want us to visit the restaurant? Bills on me," Travis suggests, but he shakes his head. "I want to go home, dude. I need to get some sleep," He says lazily as he touches his forehead and winces in pain. "Alright. I'll just drop by the restaurant and get some take-home food. I want to treat you to a delicious meal today," Travis says, trying to brighten the atmosphere, or maybe make up for what he did. For someone that hardly talks, the atmosphere is not favorable enough for him, but he doesn't have a choice now. He has to make it up to his brother. "Can you just drive us home, please? I want to sleep," He whines. "You can lay there and sleep, while I do my things," Travis says to him before he turns his attention to the road, and starts the car before he drives off. Trevor sighs as he stares at the back of his head, many thoughts flooding his mind. Why did he get so angry earlier? Why is he always affected by his ways of life? As much as he wants to think that it's because his brother must be obsessed with him, he can't help but dismiss the thoughts. Although Travis may not talk about it to him so he won't feel bad, having the same face and everything, except their personality has so much to do with this. It must've been hard for him to cope, knowing that someone else has the same face as him, and doing some shitty things. For this alone, even if he wants to start being a good guy and drop this dirty lifestyle of his, he can't bring himself to do it. He has always been a flirt from the onset. It's unclear to him how all these dirty lifestyles of his started, but he knows that it's not something he can stop. Not in this lifetime, because he's already addicted to it. He's trying to, just that nothing is working for him. The car finally stops, jolting him out of his deep thought, and he looks out of the window to see that they're already parked in front of his favorite restaurant. "Should I come with you?" He asks as he watches Travis taking off the seatbelt from his body. "No. I'll be back before you know it," And with that, Travis steps out of the car and walks to the entrance door of the restaurant. Now that he's sitting in the car alone, the thought of Evelyn flashes through his mind, and he scoffs angrily. He wasn't able to finish what he started with her, and it's annoying. There's always another time anyway. 'Listen to me, Trevor. You are going to sack that b***h. I don't want to ever see her here again' Travis's words ring in his head, and he can't help the scoff that forces itself out of his throat. "That has to be the joke of the century. I won't ever do that," He mutters to himself as he rolls his eyes like his brother is in the car with him. Evelyn is too good to be sacked, so he's not planning to do that. Will he ever stay away from Evelyn? No, he won't ever do that, because he stands to gain nothing by doing that, but will he ever f**k her in his office? Never! He'd rather find somewhere safer than his office. "Nadia..." He mutters when she crosses his mind. The image of her sexy naked body pops up in his head, and the corner of his lip slowly curves into a smirk. What will it feel like to have her on his bed, and f**k her so hard?
