“What?!” Kira looked at him in disbelief. How was it her fault that she had seen his bare face? She wasn’t the one who took off that mask from him… ‘And what did he just say? I wouldn’t be able to free myself from him?! What does he mean by that?!’
Alder ignored her glaring eyes and asked plainly, “So, why did you leave on your own?”
When both of them dropped onto the water, the strong streams of the river made Alder’s mask detached from his face. Due to the impact caused by their fall and Kira’s body being fragile from the beginning, she lost consciousness.
Alder took her unconscious body to the river bank and looked for his detached mask. But who would have thought that when he came back, she was nowhere to be found?
