Tyler Skylar and I comfort Amber until she falls asleep after her latest nightmare. She snuggles into me and moans happily. I sigh as I move a strand of her hair from her face. It isn’t lost on me that she has yet to say ‘I love you’ to either of us. Skylar rolls over to face away from us. I can sense he is upset about something, but he won’t say anything.
