"Joy." His deep smooth voice sent shivers down my spine.

"Who-who's this?"

"You know who the hell it is where the hell are you?" He yelled.

"Damon give me the damn phone. Joy baby please tell us where you are. I'm sorry for what my i***t brother did... Please say something." I heard shuffling.

"Let me talk to her again I wont yell. Look Joy you get your *ss back to your old pack now."

"I-" Damon scared me to no end. I didn't feel like getting yelled at.

"Tell Caine I'll call him some other time." Before I hung up I heard Damien say real smooth casanova.

"Real smooth casanova."

"What? She needs to come home so I can apologize I'm tired of playing games and I'm tired of looking everywhere for her. I need her." I hated his attitude sometimes.

"Don't you think I need her to shes our mate I love her."

"I love her to I'm going to kill whoever touched her did you see that scar." Damon said his eyes turning black.

"What scar?" Her brother asked. "WHAT f*****g SCAR?"

"Don't talk to us like that pup you're lucky it involves your sister so we wont get mad. She had a scar going from her ear to her collar bone."

"WHAT? She never told me about that."

"Look yelling isn't getting us no where lets just calm down and start contacting Alphas again." I didn't have time to argue with them I had a mate to find.

After I hung up I sat there thinking. Maybe I should go back, Damien didn't know what was going on I shouldn't be punishing him for what his brother did.

I traced my scar that shut her up. Just thinking about that had me shivering their words keep replaying in my head this scar means that you belong to us we will never let you go.

I was brought out of my day dreaming by a knock on my door. I immediately became nervous sh*t they found me. I sat on my chair frozen in place, the person knocked again.

"I guess they aren't home." A woman said.

"But mom we baked cookies." A little girl whines. I got off the chair and rushed to the door.

"Hi can I help you?" I asked eying her.

"Yes hi we're your neighbors I stay across the street." She pointed to the 2 story house.

"Hi." I said.

"We baked you cookies." The little girl said excitedly.

"You did? Thanks!" The little girl was to cute. She had on a pink dress with doll baby shoes with her blond hair hanging over her shoulders she was missing two teeth that made her more adorable.

"Come in." They came in and I motioned them to sit while I got us drinks.

"Mommy is she like us?" They were werewolves meaning I probably was on a packs territory, but my brother checked before we even decided on the place her mother looked at me.

"Don't worry hun I know who you are. I heard the rumors I wont tell where you are so tell me the real story." I looked at the little girl. "Oh don't worry shes playing with your cat I think she fell in love."

I told her everything from the day I met him until now. "You must be so lonely I'm so sorry that happened to you."

"Thanks. You are the first werewolf that talked to me in god knows how long. Are you married?"

"No my mate died two years ago. I wanted to die with him but I knew that I had to live for Lilly. I moved out here alone. I cant stand packs they left my mate to die alone." She looked angry and sad at the same time.

"I'm sorry... whats your name?" I asked.

"I'm so rude. I'm Faith, looks like me and you are going to best friends." She said.

"I'd like that. So are you a rogue?"

"Oh no this is neutral territory but my old Alpha knows that I'm here, he owns the territory next to this area."

"So am I safe here? Does any other wolves come around this area?"

"Not that many, that's why I moved here its mostly humans."

"Do you know any where that's hiring? I have a nursing degree but the last hospital I applied at didn't hire me. Half of them were wolves so I ended up housekeeping at a hotel in the day and bar tending at night."

"Well there's a bar in town, one of the waitresses just had a baby. I'll take you there tomorrow and show you around."

"OK that's sounds good."

"OK I'll come over around 10 or 11 the bar doesn't open until 1."

"OK see you then, bye Lilly."

"Bye." I closed the door and sat down I was so excited to be talking to someone.

The next morning I woke up, showered got dressed and waited for Faith to come over. She knocked I and I ran to the door.

"You look great."

"Thanks so do you."

"Are you ready?"

"Yes let me get my purse. Who's car are we taking?"

"We can take mine since you don't know where everything is." We arrived at the restaurant that looked more like a club.

"This is Tommy's its a bar, restaurant, and club all in one. He opens at 1pm and close at 3am."

This place was huge! It had two floors, a balcony area, a bar on each floor. The bar in Michigan had nothing on Tommy's! "You ready?"

"Yes."

"Hey Tom my fiend here would like to apply for the waitress position."

"Do you have any experience?" He asked.

"Yes sir. I worked as a bartender for a year."

"Good enough for me. When can you start?" I was relieved to know that I got the job.

"Whenever you need me."

"OK be here tonight at 7pm."

"Thank you."

"Alright now that that's taken care of I can show you around." She grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bar.

"Is there a library around here?" I asked.

"A library! Really Joy?"

"Yes." My cheeks flamed. "I kind of live through books.. Don't look at me like that." Faith laughed.

"Well I guess its my duty to put some excitement in your dull life. You work tonight but tomorrow is Friday and you're all mine."

"Whose going to watch Lilly?"

"Oh don't worry, my brother will watch her. When I moved 2 of my brothers came with me."

"How old are they?"

"Well I have 4 brothers."

"Wow" I couldn't imagine growing up with 4 Caines, I love him but he's a pain sometimes.

"Yeah the oldest is the Beta he's 26, Dre is 25 he lives with me, I'm 23, Eddie is 19 he also lives with me and Ryan is 16. When i told them i was moving they freaked out and followed me."

"Yeah I understand my big brother is the same way. He's the only one who stood by me during this time, my own family disowned me." I said sadly.

"Well don't worry you've got a new kick *ss best friend and a niece."

"Thanks."

"OK well on to Missy's, you need a sexy outfit for tomorrow." She looked at me smiling.

"No i have jeans and a nice shirt."

"Nope I'm picking you out something. You need to look hot its ladies night on Fridays all the men will be there." She wiggled her eyebrows, I wasn't interested in men I had 2 Kings after me.

"Are there going to be wolves?"

"Yes but everyone knows who you are. We were already prepared when your brother called, most of the pack agreed that your punishment was harsh and everyone deserves a second chance."

"But won't you guys get in trouble? I'm supposed to stay away from packs." I didn't want to get her in trouble she's the first friend I had since I left home.

"Technically you are, the pack is the next town over like I said before this is neutral ground. Now let's get you something sexy."

I ended up with 3 outfits that she picked out she then forced me to get a make over. My blonde hair was now dark brown with blonde highlights she made me get waxed EVERYWHERE. I do admit I look different and I like it maybe now people wont stare because I look like a different person.

I could already see that she was going to talk me into doing things like my brother used to do, come to think of it they will make a good couple. We got home around 4 pm and I decided to take a nap before work I was bored and had nothing else to do.

I arrived at the bar at 6:50 I was to be a waitress until the girl who had a baby came back then I would be hired as a bartender. I really hated working here men kept groping and flirting with me. I didn't like it I would rather be behind the bar hell, I would take working in a kitchen washing dishes over this.

It was finally 2am and I was happy to be off. After cleaning and straightening everything Tom told me I could leave. When I pulled in my driveway I was very shocked. What the hell?
