Third Person Pov:

There was a buzzing sound, that was heard in her ears constantly, making every other sounds around her to unable to reach her mind.

All she could hear was the one word that Chance Gary told to her, which was currently repeated inside her mind.

“Mate….mate….. Mate!!..

Her Mate!!!!”.

That was all that Aurora could hear, as of that moment.

Hearing the confession made by Chance Gary, Aurora was shocked to her very being on the spot.

All the blood in her body froze due to the cold hearted words said by her mate.

Without her knowing, the tears that had stopped flowing a few minutes ago, started to secrete again.

The white crystal like clear tear drops that came out of her eyes, fell down, and made its way down her cheeks.

Aurora’s mind stopped working, and she didn’t know what to do at that moment.

Because she had never thought of the possibility of that case, that Chance Gary despite knowing that she was his mate, didn’t tell her about it at all, during all these times.

Looking at Aurora who was crying, and standing stark still like a statute, Chance Gary tsked, and let out a mocking laugh.

“why are you so shocked, Aurora??. As if, you didn’t know, or didn’t even had the slightest amount of doubt about it?..

think….just think hard, Aurora.

As to why you had a crush on me, from your childhood days?.

And even more so, after all the cruel words, and things, I said to your face, and done to you, despite all that terrible scenarios, you still had a crush on me, all along your teenage years.

It’s not because of your genuine interest on me. It’s the mate bond, that was playing it’s charm on you…

that’s why your eyes had always followed me endlessly, whenever I was in your line of sight”, Chance Gary said with a victorious, and evil smirk on his face, while saying all these to Aurora.

He took pride on the fact that she had a crush on him for all these years. It boosted his male ego, wanting him to flaunt that fact, and slap her with it in the same time.

Hearing Chance Gary say that he knew that she had a crush on him, for all these years, yet he acted as if he didn’t know that, made her dumbfounded, as she thought that she had concealed her thoughts very well.

“You kne….knew…knew that?”, the words came out as a whisper from Aurora’s trembling lips.

“of course.. your eyes would always follow my steps, every time without fail, and have a small shine to it, whenever I come in front of you.

But you did not know about that.

Poor you….you thought that you hid it well from others, and from me”, Chance mocked her in a sweet concerned voice, clearly rubbing salt on her wounded soul.

“Then, why???”, Aurora whispered lowly, as she lost all her strength in that instant.

“ ’why’ what??. Oh yeah….I got what you are trying to ask…..why I acted as if I didn’t know about all these things before??”, Chance Gary asked innocently, despite him knowing the thoughts of Aurora. About what she was asking about.

“ Well, truth to be told, it was amusing…more like, it was funny, watching you do things so carefully, so as to not get caught by me, or any of the other pack members, for that matter, when I knew it already”, Chance said making her cry even more.

It was embarrassing how her liking was made fun off, as if it was no big deal.

***well for Chance Gary, it seemed like no big deal.

Chance Gary came a little bit closer to the place she was standing, and leaned towards her.

" Do you want to know an interesting thing, my dear mate of mine???", Chance Gary bent down to her level, and whispered to her evilly, as if, he was going to say a very important thing.

" I know your are my mate, two years back, on my 18th birthday itself", he finished, and stood up to his full height.

Like how cruel he can be….He had known all these times, that she was his mate, and didn’t tell her about their mate bond.

On top of that, he was dating her elder sister Andrea these two years, clearly knowing the mate bond between him, and Aurora.

And to think about it, Chance Gary started dating her elder sister Andrea, right after his 18th birthday, showing to her, that he despite after knowing, or finding his mate, Chance Gary made a new girl friend.

He happily announced to the whole pack that Andrea was his girlfriend, and even proposed her in front of the whole pack.

And to surpass all his past cruelty, and sadist behavior, he chose exactly her 18th birthday for celebrating his engagement party with her elder sister Andrea.

****like how much more cruel he can be… .

Even those limits of cruelty has been surpassed by his terrible behavior.

He wanted Aurora to find out that he was her mate all by herself, on his engagement party. He wanted to ruin her special day like this.

***What a f*****g Heartless, and cruel bastard.

Hearing that, Aurora felt her heart breaking into several thousand pieces, and she stumbled on her own feet, and her back hit the tree trunk behind her.

She held on to the tree trunk behind her, for her support, as she lost all the strength in her legs.

She used up all the remaining strength of hers, to try to not to cry in front of him.

The only thing that held her up, and helped her in standing on her feet, instead of crumbling to the ground in front of Chance Gary, was that tree trunk.

But her efforts seemed to stay strong, and unbothered turned out to be futile, as her eyes were filled with unshed tears that were threatening to burst out.

She stubbornly gulped down the sobs, that was trying to break out, but eventually, it came out as small hiccups, even after all of her efforts to stop crying, and look pitiful in front of him.

Seeing Aurora in front of him, like this, suffering such an emotional pain, in which she was unable to cry out her grievances aloud, but also couldn’t control her emotions, and wanting to cry badly, looking all helpless, and devastated, like an ant on a hot pan, gave a weird kind of satisfaction to Chance Gary.

He took pleasure in her immense pain, helplessness, and sorrows, as he did all these years. ***Sadist f*****g monster….

He really did liked, and likes to torture, and cause pain to Aurora, even now, in all the ways possible, both physically, and emotionally.

And he didn’t let any chance slip past through his fingers, in making her suffer all these years. He was one of the main bullies of the pack, who likes to torment Aurora, in every possible way.

Even he didn’t know the reason, as to why, he likes, and has always wanted to give, and find trouble with her.

He got some weird kind of kick, in seeing her wallow in her miseries, alone in the corner of the pack house, like a wounded little bunny, looking all innocent, and helpless at the same time.

So Chance Gary made it his hobby, more like of a mission, and made her to be, and feel miserable, whenever he got the opportunity to do so, all these years.

Aurora just looked at Chance Gary, without blinking the eyes that were filled with her tears, and all the times he bullied, and found trouble with her, for no reason, every single, and small detail ran in front of her eyes, like a movie marathon.

The way, he always tried to make any type of physical contact with her.

The way, sometimes he looked at her, with a weird kind of glint in her eyes, on which she couldn’t put a name tag on it, all that flashed in front of her eyes.

How he deliberately made trouble for her, and made her to be in the same vicinity as him in some days, everything made a damn sense to her now.

“And the times when I tried to make physical contact with you in the past, it’s not because I acknowledge you as my mate. It was to keep my stupid wolf under control.

My Wolf would lose its s**t otherwise, and take control of my body.

So don’t flatter yourself too much, and dream that I like you, and I would take you as my mate.

I don’t want to make enemies with the Alpha family by taking you as my mate, you hated loser of the pack”, Chance Gary spat those harsh words cruelly, drilling several holes in her fragile heart, using the venomous words of his.

Now it all slowly made sense to Aurora.

Why Chance Gary did all those things.

She has heard from the other teenage female wolves, who make a fuss, and had gushed happily, how if they find their mate, the male wolves would never allow them to be apart from them, even for a short period of time, and how they would always have physical contact with each other, at all the time.

And even Aurora herself saw many times, how the mated couples would stick to each other’s sides most of the time, and display their affection publicly, regardless of other people present in the same place.

So all the actions that was done by Chance Gary in the past, was merely to indirectly to appease his wolf counter part, so that his wolf would never lose control of it’s mind, and do something crazy, that would put him in a difficult position, or expose the truth, that he was hiding about who his mate was.

All these bitter truth, that was suddenly put in forth of her, made Aurora's head to spin heavily, and she felt dizzy.

Not to lose her footing, and embarrass herself, she totally leaned on the tree trunk behind her.

Seeing her ashen face that was looking pale, which has lost all of its color, as if, all the blood in her body was drained to the very last drop of it, Chance Gary smirked mockingly with an evil glint in his eyes, and said the set of words, that she had thought of never hearing from her mate.

Because all along these tough years, she had to survive in the violet moon pack, her only hope, and only wish, and prayer to the moon goddess was to find her mate.

The one person, who would love her regardless of anything, and would save her from this hell called her life.

Well, no werewolf would have ever thought that , or wishes to hear those cruel words from their destined mate.

" I, Chance Gary, the future gamma of the Violet Moon pack, reject Aurora Bentick as my mate, and my gamma female" he said without any expression on his face, as if, he was talking about the weather.
