Zion Xavier Pov:

“ Don’t kid around. I should go, and plan that date amazingly well”, saying that, Casey stood up, and went to open the door to my office room.

“She became my matter, when I first laid my eyes on her. She is MINE. Did you hear that??. She IS my mate. AURORA IS MY MATE!!!”, I yelled at my annoying gamma female, who only grinned from her ear to ear, instead of being shocked, as I had expected her to be now.

I thought back to the time, on how I met my lovely little mate, Aurora, for the first time in the meadow in the forest, and how I had brought her back to our pack, the Night howlers pack.

After I had yelled out the secret that I have been keeping from them, that Aurora was my destined mate, which I was hiding till now, I moved, and went towards the open window in my room, and stood in front of it.

I blinked my eyes several times, and looked out from the room, at the vast lush green forest outside, through the window in my office room.

I decided to tell the full truth about that girl to my family.

“yes… It’s the truth. What you guys were thinking was really right. That girl, Aurora, she is my mate “, I broke the news all to sudden without giving them enough time to adjust, and said in a sombre tone, that made all of them to have doubts on the words, that I had said just now.

Because I literally said to them, that I have found out who my mate was, my other part of the soul, the one person, for whom all the werewolf teens would yearns for to find, since they turn 18 years of age, in a tone, as if telling them that I had found a normal advertisement pamphlet on the floor.

Sighing, I turned to look at their reactions on my big revelation, only to be stunned by their actions.

“WHAT!!!??? “, Clint yelled in shock, at the top of his voice, while Kevin unceremoniously slipped to the ground, from the spot he was sitting a moment ago, on the couch.

Zander looked totally taken aback by the sudden news, thus he sat at a loss of words, and with a confused look on his face, while Casey squealed happily like a five year old kid, that got her favorite toy as a present on the Christmas Eve, and started jumping on her toes.

She looked like a happy little bunny, that was given a new piece of carrot treat to munch on.

“I told you so. I told you guys before itself, you thick headed knuckle heads. But you guys did not believe in my words.

My love indicating special radar was spot on, as always, and predicted it correctly”, Casey said proudly, with a bright smile on her face.

“Then why are you not making it public. Why are you not telling that she is your mate, openly to the entire pack?. Why are you behaving like a dork, and act as if you are not her mate?. Are you trying to reject her, or what???“, Casey asked questions after questions continuously, with a serious look on her face.

“never!!…. I am not going to reject her. I am just confused, and does not know what to do now. I am just thinking. Because she does not act like she knows that I am her mate, to begin with, which bothers me hell a lot“, I said my doubt out loud, and sighed in defeat.

***this was what was eating me out from the inside, the entire time I had known that she was my mate.

It was also so confusing, and keeping me on a dilemma for the most of the time, from the day I had saw her for the very first time, in the middle of the meadow.

“Well, to think about this matter…..It must be because she must be still under the adult werewolf age, and did not reach her 18th birth day, you dumb guy!!!”, Clint said in a know it all tone, making me to threw a nasty glare at him. But on the second thought, I thought about what he was trying to tell me.

“you know, 18th birthday is equal to, or also the day, when we get our inner wolf soul, and will be able to find our mate, or sense their scent as our own”, Clint said, and air quoted the words with his fingers.

“ yes…. I too think that it might be the reason in this, brother. Take a good look at her. She really looks too young. She must be still below the adult age”, Zander said in a positive tone, trying to lift up my bad mood.

“But what if….just, what if….in case she was faking it. What about that??. Like…like she knows that I am her destined mate, and that she does not want me, or acknowledge me as her destined mate”, I said out all those things that ran through my mind, for a very long time.

“Why in the freaking hell are you spouting stupid non sense like that???“, Casey snapped at me, both in confusion, and annoyance, upon hearing my words. I won’t blame her for that though.

“She must have heard the rumours about me, Casey. About how cruel I am. That I am a nasty monster.

She must have thought that she did not want a cruel monster as me, as her mate”, I said in a low spirit. Because I had partly convinced myself that it was the reason due to which she was not recognising me as her mate.

"No..Never…. I don't think so... Aurora does not look like a girl, who would believe all those stupid rumours. She did not look to me like the type, who did not want you as her mate, just because of some baseless, and stupid rumours", Casey vouched with full confidence for Aurora as usual…

I still don’t know what was the deal in between these two girls, Casey, and Aurora… it was like they have an invisible, and unbreakable bond in between them.

From the very start, Casey was the one who supported, and believed in Aurora blindly…Maybe Casey must have felt the Luna bond with Aurora. But I am not sure of that thought though.

“I too, second that, bro. Based on her character, and the way she behaves lovingly with the kids in the pack's play school, and how she cherishes her relationship with Casey, and Zara, she looks like she was not the type of girl to reject her mate, or does not acknowledge her mate bond”, Clint said with a serious look on his face.

“there must be a good solid reason for her, for not acknowledging the mate bond in between the you two of you, and in her accepting you as her destined mate. Or like the most possible, and practical reason, she must be under the werewolf mating age “, Kevin said meaningfully.

Kevin was always the most reasonable, and level headed guy, who looks at the solid facts to draw out a clear conclusion.

He was the perfect guy, who was cut out to be the Delta of the pack, and I was very grateful for the fact that I have him in our pack.

I sighed hearing all these different things. But at the same time, I felt a little bit more relaxed, and stress free, as I have told my family about Aurora being my mate. The burden of keeping them in the dark had ate me out.

*** because hiding this news from them, made me to feel a little guilty inside.

“And don’t you dare think of yourself as a Monster, Zion. Those are just some baseless, and stupid non sensical rumours, which were spread by those spineless, and dumb wolves, who hates our pack, and your guts to their core.

And most definitely, I think…no…I know for sure, that Aurora does not think of you as a monster, and she must have known that fact already by now.

Because you are the one who saved her from the attack of that rogue wolf, and even allowed her to stay in our pack, not even knowing her full details.

She respects you for treating her in a good way, Zion“, Casey said in a resolute tone, making me to breath a sigh of relief in secret.

***’My mate, Aurora does not hate me, and on the contrary she respects me', I thought, and felt all giddy inside, like a teenage girl.

“Then what was the reason that she acts like that??? “, Zander asked cluelessly, and a little bit of curiosity shone brightly in his dark eyes.

“Let me talk to her about this, and find out what the hell was that darn reason was”, Casey said to no one in particular. But what she had said, made me to be anxious, all of a sudden.

What if Casey asks something to Aurora, and in turn she feels offended, or pressured, and wanted to leave from here…

What if, she runs off from the pack, without saying anything to anyone, and goes away from me, forever???.

All these terrifying questions made me to be nervous, and I immediately stopped Casey, and restrained her from acting on her words.

“No!!!. no one….i mean no one should ask, or tell anything about this matter to Aurora, or anybody else for that matter.. Especially to Zara… that girl never listen to us, in her entire life, and she can not keep a secret, for the sake of the moon goddess“, I said in an ordering tone, so that all my friends would realize the seriousness of it.

“And more importantly, Aurora must have been scared of me…. After knowing the real truth about me “, I said in a dejected voice, not wanting to continue this topic further.

“Not a word to anyone.. Now please, excuse me. I have a lot of paper works to do. You guys can leave for now”, I said making everyone to leave the Alpha office.

Casey Pov:

I was practically jumping on my toes. It was all because in the uncontrollable happiness that the inner woman’s gut instincts of mine had turned out to be so damn true.

I was so very happy that our sweet, and innocent little sweet heart, Aurora turned out be our Alpha Zion’s mate. She will be the future Luna of the night howlers pack. Yes!!!.

I had a little hunch before, like from the very beginning. It was like from the moment, Zion had brought Aurora in an unconscious state to our pack, out of no where, and claiming that he had saved that unknown girl from the attack of a rogue wolf, and had brought her to our pack to be treated for the time being.

And the way, he so very carefully carried her, and handled her, like she was the most fragile, and precious thing in the entire world to him, till he placed her on the bed that night.

Like, what in the freaking fairy tale scene in the world was that…???.

Zion Xavier, the big bad Alpha saving a girl from a rogue wolf was acceptable to me. It was fair. And It was fine to me, till that part.

But bringing a random unknown girl, without even knowing a single little detail about her, and endangering the safety of the pack??… . Well that was a very far cry from the reality to happen, to be exactly, in the dictionary of Mr. Big bad Alpha ' The Zion Xavier '.

The strict, and the most disciplined Alpha, Zion Xavier, whom I have had known all these years, was not that careless, and mindless of a guy.

To let a person with some unknown identity to enter into the territory of the Night Howlers Pack, and more than that, letting them to stay in our pack house as a guest, instead of putting them behind the locked doors of a prison cell???!!!. This type of situation, I can’t even imagine that in my worst nightmare.

Because, Alpha Zion values his pack members more than anything else, and their safety was his top most priority, at all the times.

But that stone headed Alpha of mine, had a permanent poker face, and cleverly dodged his way out from all of my indirect questions, that I had asked him, and practically kept us in the dark, the entire time, like he had wanted, while keeping us in the dark about him finding his destined mate, and that mate was none other than Aurora, my little sweet heart.

Well, he had tried all he had wanted.. But my expert love radar clearly indicated this to me in the beginning itself, and caught on to the secret signals, and sly glances, that he had sent in the direction of Aurora, every now and then, thinking that he was being careful enough to hide his emotions from us.

But all that efforts of his, went down the drain, as I had caught him looking in Aurora’s direction, many times.

He did that subconsciously… . We would be talking about something, and he would be answering to us, but his eyes would search, and look for Rory around the vicinity.

If he found her little figure in, and around him, then he would often steal glances in her direction every now, and then, and that too sneakily.

And with a little bit of instigating, the jealous, and possessive Alpha male wolf within him, with that Sam guy, from my side, and bringing out the ugly jealousy devil out, turned out to be a fruitful one, as finally Zion confessed to us, (well….more like lost his temper on me) , that Aurora was his destined mate.

Finally the big bad Alpha was the one to get the sweet little angel (Aurora) as always described in those children’s fairy tales. 'Bad guys get the good girls’.

I was so happy that Zion got such a sweet little girl like Aurora as his mate. And Aurora was really blessed too, as she got Zion as her mate.

As I know for sure that, that guy would take good care of her, unlike the people present in her life in the past.

As Aurora really deserves the best things in the world, for her pure, and innocent character.

Within the few weeks, she was staying in the pack, she has won the hearts of several people in the pack, especially the hearts of all those naughty, and sweet, and Cutesy little kids in the play school, where she was working in her spare time. And she won even the adults too.

The adult one that tops in that list of people was none other than Zara and my dear mate, Clint, and of course me.

Even the other guys have started to warm up to her, and like her too. But most importantly, the kids in our pack loves her the most, and Aurora too adores those sweet little kids dearly.

Now I know, why I felt like, I have had a very deep connection with Aurora, from the very beginning. And the reason, why the kids in the pack too loves her.

It was because she is the Luna of the pack. And the kids have a very deep connection with the Luna of their pack, as she was considered the mother of the entire pack.

Now all I have to do was to find out the reason why Aurora could not sense the mate bond between Zion, and her.

And my main mission from now on, was to bring these two favorite people of mine together, and making them to live a happy life, that they both deserve to have.

With that in my mind, I went in search of innocent little Aurora, my first target, right at that moment.

And mainly because, she was the one, who I can handle easily… dealing with that stubborn head Alpha will be a little tiresome. So let’s deal with him later on, I thought to myself.

“well… . Mission love of Alpha couple begins now”, I said excitedly to myself, and went to Zara's room, where I will have more possibility in finding Aurora.
