It was raining heavily and she was sweating as she walked through the forest but she paid no attention to her surroundings. Aurora had one goal in mind and walked slowly towards it.
The water was falling from the trees but the twelve-year-old girl didn’t hear it. Her mind was swirling with other thoughts, darker thoughts.
Her feet got stuck in the muddy forest ground from time to time but she didn’t care. She looked ahead, blinking the rain away from her face.
She was soaked to the bone and her wet hair was all over her face.
Aurora was determined and her face looked angry more than anything else.
As she walked, a flash of lightning lit up the sky and soon a loud thunder shook the trees around her.
