Emmy leans towards me with a smile. She looks at her nails and grins.
“That’s my man. You are in for a miserable life.” She whispers.
“Chuck is your boyfriend?” I whisper back with a laugh. “Quit hallucinating.”
“Nope. Robin is. The guy who will be in charge. What do you think that means? It’s going to be hell for you. Told him about you and you have no idea of what is coming.”
“You know Emmy; you disgust me. You think you will ever bring me down? Even if you do, I will just look for another modelling agency.”
“What are you two whispering about?” Chuck snaps us out of our conversation. He is glaring hard at me. Of course I’m the problem, not Emmy. She is his sister-in-law, if she wasn’t lying.
