Ryder's pov
I couldn't concentrate at work. Which meant the remodel was going to be behind schedule if I didn't pull it together. All I could think about was the sexy Librarian across the street.
I wondered if she got the flowers. Would she like them? I was going crazy with all these thoughts. I was about to go see Shadow when in walked the last person I wanted to see.
"Karmin what are you doing here?"
"He left me."
She came over and out her arms around me and started to cry. I didn't know what to do. The last thing I wanted was to deal with her drama.
"Karmin you left me for him remember."
"Yes, I made a huge mistake."
