Chapter 6 - HIDDEN KINGDOM.

I found it hard to open my eyes, so I placed my hands at the sky, hoping it could block the light that is affecting my eyes.
I slowly opened my eyes, after flustering my eyelashes so many times.
The first thing I saw was a lady, who wore a short red top, and a short red skirt with her hair also long and red.
I haven't yet regained my balance, because what I was seeing was all blur, but then I heard someone asking if I'm alright.
" Are you alright ?". I heard someone ask, but I could get the picture of that person's face properly.
The person helps me to sit properly, but all I could feel under my legs seems to be sand.
I finally tried as much as I could to open my eyes, but the next thing that my eyes saw made me jump up in fear.
" Ahhhhh!!! ". I screamed and got up from where I was sitting.
" Don't come anywhere near me, I will hurt you if you come close ". I said as I grabbed the stick of wood, which I saw lying beside me as I pointed it at the lady, whose teeth were long as a vampire.
" What did you do to my beautiful hair ". I yelled.
My lovely black hair had suddenly turned to white. The hair was soft as a feather and it was very long.
" This is not how my real hair looks like ". I chanted to myself as I drag my hair, just to make sure that this isn't a trick, where someone had worn me a long white wig, just to scare me.
" I didn't do anything to your hair, and why are you even in this cell in the first place ?". The lady asked.
" WHAT!!! me!!, and which cell ?". I ask confused.
" Don't play dumb with me, and spill out the crime that you have committed ". She asked.
" Me!!! crime, what are you talking about, and don't you dare come close to me, you evil creature ".
The lady was leaning close to me, so I pointed the stick to her front.
" Why are you scared of me, I thought vampires are the ones who are supposed to be scared of a witch ". She said while laughing.
All that the lady was saying made no perfect sense to my ear, and to worsen the situation the hair on my head haven't removed from where its placed.
Whosoever that has fixed this hair on my head had made sure that the hair won't be able to pull off from my head, without my skull falling out.
" Am I dead ?". I asked with tears all over my eyes because I could remember clearly that I was about to pass out after eating with my parents in the dining room.
The lady rolls her eyes as she answered my question. " Yes white witch, you are dead ".
After those words left her mouth, she steps away from me and sat down on the clay soil that was beneath my feet, and rest her head on the wall.
I started looking at my surrounding very carefully and saw that the walls surrounding me looks like a cage, or if perhaps you could call it a prison, because of how small it is.
There was an iron gate, that was built like a dog cage, making fear creep to my body.
" So do you mean that I'm dead, and I... I, do you mean that I, unfortunately, ended up in hell "? I ask while stammering as tears started flowing down from my eyes.
" Hey, are you serious, please we aren't dead, we are just in a prison because of crime's that we have committed, we aren't dead okay ". The lady said as she walks close to me, but I quickly used my hands to stop her from coming close.
" Do you mean that I'm still alive, but in a prison right ?". Isabella asked while wiping the tears away from her face.
" Yes, you aren't dead, you are just in a prison".
" Ohh!!, and what's your name ?". I ask the lady.
" My name's Mulan, and what's your name ?".
" My name is Astrid ". I replied the lady.
I was about to tell her my real name but ' Astrid ' was the name that left my mouth.
" I'm sorry to say Mulan, but my name and is isable.... Astrid. I mean is... Astrid ". I said again.
I wasn't in control of my mouth, because the name ' Astrid ' kept on coming from my mouth, without me being in control.
" You don't have to hide your name from me, because that's a beautiful name, it means..... Fair and beautiful goddess. The name suits your face, but I still can't get the picture of what you have done to be sent to this prison ". Mulan said.
" I can clearly remember that I at dinner with my Mom and Dad before walking to my room. I actually felt dizzy after dinner so I sprinkled some water on my face and went to lye on my bed, so how come did I end up in prison, and princess doesn't go to prison, so why would my parents sent me here ?". Isabella whose name had already changed to Astrid asks Mulan.
" I don't know what is coming out from your mouth, but I don't like witches, so I advise you to stay away from me, while you still can ?".
" I'm not a witch and I command you to open that door because if you don't, the king isn't going to spare your life ". Astrid threatened.
" Do you have any idea who you are talking to ?". Mulan asks as she got up from where she was sitting, with her eyes red as that of a demon.
" I'm..... I'm sorry ". Astrid pleaded as tears started rolling down from her eyes, while she trembles in fear.
" Do you have any idea of what I'm capable of doing to you right now ?". Mulan asks as her nails became long and her canines has grown long making her look like a real vampire.
The entire time that I was talking to her, I set aside the feeling that kept on telling me that she is a vampire.
When I woke up, her long elegant white teeth had grown long like a vampire but they later turn back to normal, which was why I felt free while talking to her.
She sounded like a human, looks like a human, and had acted as a human some few times.
My eyes couldn't accumulate what I'm seeing because vampires aren't real, and I'm fully aware that they are just characters involved in a movie, but the way Mulan fingers are growing longer each second that thick by, made me close my eyes in fear as I used my hair to cover my face while praying inwardly that Mulan shouldn't eat me alive.
She could already feel that Mulan is few inches away from her, so immediately she raised her head to plead with Mulan, she was met by red eyes that look so fierce.
A cold chill creeping into her body and before Mulan could already reach her, Astrid had already passed out.
" Is this witch kidding me, she's even afraid of vampires haha ". Mulan said while laughing out loud.

I opened my eyes again, and this time around I wasn't in a cell, but in a bed. ' So all that happened is a dream right ?'. I ask myself while staring at the ceiling as I enjoy the warmth of the bed.
" Since your eyes are fully opened, and your hands are working very fine. I need you to get down from my bed ". A soft male voice said, causing me to raise my head because I have heard that voice from somewhere.
" Hey!!!, how come are you in my room and what brought you here ?". Astrid asked.
" Can you please carry yourself down from my bed ". The male voice said again.
" What do you mean prince Josh, and you don't command a princess in her kingdom ". Astrid said while smiling.
She didn't mind that Josh is commanding her, because she takes it as play, not until a young lady came towards her and gave her a heavy slap on the cheek, causing her to stand up from the bed with her hands on her cheeks, while tears were threatening to fall from her eyes.
" Why did you slap me ". she asks the lady who is dark in complexion.
" You don't have respect for the prince do you ?". The lady asks.
The lady has dark skin and might be Astrid's age mate or might be older than Astrid with a year or two.
" Don't you have respect for a princess ". Astrid asks as she yelled back at the lady.
" Did you just yell back at me "
The lady asked.
She raises her hands and was about to slap Astrid on her cheek again but someone holds her hands.
" That's enough !!!! ". The prince said causing the two ladies to stare at him, with their mouths hanging open in surprise.
