Desperation or fear.

Silence. Not even a single howl from the breeze of the harsh winter, as Dalia would put it. Or perhaps her attention is wild  away from it, with what her gaze has occupied as the gates of the Zeak palace open widely, revealing the complete appearance of a certain werewolf, Lucien Zeak. Dalia's attention divides from Lucien, whom now has his pace increasing by the second to meet Dalia, knowing that the matter at hands, is some of grave gravity. As Lucien's pace increases, so does Dalia's body rise from the ground, not waiting in for Lucien to get to her, before she begins running to him in haste, still with the lifeless infant in her arms, while the thought that fills Lucien's head, is if he had indeed gone out with the other royals as planned. What would be the situation here? Especially after giving Dalia his complete word of her finding him here, so how bad would the situation be indeed, if he did leave with the other princes, and the guards chased Dalia out, like they earlier did before his arrival? The two both running to each other, as one wanting to beat time by saving her brother, and the other wanting to fulfill the promise he has made. "Save him! Please! Save him and I promise, I promise to accept to every of your request!" Dalia eventually arriving Lucien, as she makes her second promise of the night, all in the act of desperation. Lucien's gaze turning black, as his gaze locks on the desperate ones of Dalia, the trembling of her lips, and the sweating of her body despite the cold weather, as both Lucien and Adon at this current state, realize one thing being that, Dalia is much more to them than they may envisage. Lucien not having to process the thought, takes Sebastian away from Dalia's arms, turning his back away from her, dashing into the palace, and straight to where the royal infirmary is built in a speed Dalia has never seen before, as she can hardly follow suit. "Get Silas now!" Lucien raises his voice at the healers he meets at the infirmary, when not seeing the chief healer, Silas. Whereas, Dalia who seem to have lost her way in the gigantic insides of the palace, hears Lucien's voice, as she is able to finally trace it to where he is. Upon her arrival, she meets Lucien and some others wearing a white uniform, realizing they are healers. Her gaze then moves away from them, sighting Sebastian laying on a bed, with another healer whom she knows nothing of, checking Sebastian. "You're going to have to give us the room, your highness," Dalia stares at the healer whom is attending to Sebastian speak to Lucien. "Silas..." Lucien's words come the healer's name, as his gaze moves from Silas to Dalia, and onto Silas again, debating his words. "We'll do our best your highness, that you can count on me for." Silas assures Lucien before he nods his head gently heeding to Silas words, whereas Dalia only nods her head negatively at their exchange in words, while she stare at the white haired beard man, with bald scalp named Silas. "No, no, I'm not leaving him. I'm not leaving Sebastian." Dalia still rejecting the words, shakes her head negatively. "Look at me..." Lucien begins. "No, no I'm not leaving." Dalia interrupting Lucien's words, negate whatever it is Lucien is trying to pass through. "Look at me Dalia!" Lucien's words come heavily as that is enough to shut her up in an Instant, as Dalia's gaze now locks up with his. "He will do his best, to which I do trust. Where as, the best you can do right now, is grant him the opportunity to prove so. Do you hear me Dalia?" Lucien gaze not once flattering away from hers, as vice versa, while he pass words into her, that she neither dares reject. Dalia nods her head affirmatively, as Lucien gestures the way out for her, and still yet, she stops on her tracks every feet away, turning back to Sebastian whom his diminutive body lays on the bed. Dalia eventually leaves the room, so as Lucien, before the door goes shut on them. Naturally, Dalia's eyes begins to tear up, and soon enough, they begin sliding down her eyes in seconds, with her back facing Lucien, as what she seems to have forgotten is the fact that, Lucien is indeed a werewolf and can hear her whispering sobs. "I have faith in Silas, you should try to." The words exit Lucien's lips, as he stares at Dalia, still with her back turned on him. Lucien as though feeling the agony and pain in Dalia, yet, he facades a strong face, as no matter what, it can never sum up to all it is she feels at this moment. "But I don't! I don't." Dalia turns her face abruptly to Lucien, neither hiding the tears that cascade down her eyes anymore. "You want to know why? Because I...I...I couldn't feel his breath anymore...I didn't hear his heartbeat anymore, that's why." Dalia's lips tremble provocatively, as with the sight in front of Lucien, he feels a sudden pain in his heart, as though he is being stabbed multiple times. "If only, if only...I had not stolen and had them chase me into my home, they wouldn't have destroyed it and Sebastian wouldn't have had to endure the...the harsh winter...till he couldn't take it anymore." Dalia begins to sob lightly again,  as Lucien tries to make sense of her words. "What is it you mean Dalia? Did those men attack you again?" Lucien takes a step closer to Dalia, as with his question comes the stiffness of his face. Dalia gaze remains on Lucien, as her lips part open to speak, but closes back again, before she runs a hand through her thick black curly hair. "Did they?" Lucien asks Dalia again, as this time his tone comes softly seeing her predicament. Dalia, not able to utter a word, overwhelmed by the situation, shakes her head negatively to answer Lucien's questions, where as Lucien, can't find a better explanation to all these considering he had just seen the four months old some hours ago, and here he is fighting for his life now. "Then explain to me what happened? How did he come to such a state?" Lucien inquires again, still waiting for her response, as with his gaze in on her, he can't help but notice the thickness of her eyebrows, the fullness and bi-color of her lips, producing a combination of the most attractive lips he has ever laid eyes upon, and then, not to talk about her eyes. Neither do they have any special color to it than black, yet, something about her eyes captivates him. His gaze then moves to her hair, seeing as her hands have gone through them numerous times since she has been here, and still yet, the fullness and thickness of it neither reduces, nor retracts from covering her face once in while. "Me. I'm the reason Sebastian is in such a state." At Dalia's words, Lucien snaps out of the prying his eyes are gazing at, taking back his attention solely at Dalia's words. Lucien keeps silent, waiting for her to complete her statement. "If only...if only we had not stayed under the bridge for shelter...but we had no where else to go, I swear to you." Dalia begins, as Lucien's eyes go wide at his hearing. "I swear by the heavens,...I would never do anything that would put him in harms way, he is the only family I have left, and I know...I" Dalia doesn't know where her words are leading or why she is even explaining anything, as the more she tries to speak, the more tears fall from her eyes recalling the event. "Dalia..." Lucien calls her name. "You do not have to prove yourself to me, because I already know you would never hurt him..." Lucien begins. "Exactly...exactly, which is why I beg of you, I plead of you to save him any way possible, and I still reclaim my promise that I will accept to whatever it is you want from me." Dalia cuts Lucien off as she now stands in close proximity to him, stating words from her heart, where as Lucien's gaze remain on her, his mind in astonishing melancholy of having this pain in his heart, especially when she pleads with him in agony. "Please." Dalia pleads again, whereas Lucien still remains silent, at how life can change someone like Dalia, whom had such a fierce, sharp, and unpredictable nature, to one whom is in front of him with tears strolling down her eyes in desperation. "I promise." Having not able to take it again, Lucien's words utter form his mouth, and instantaneously it brings a sudden wash of relief to Dalia, that brings her entire body to rest, as her eyes begin to close gently and her legs give up tirelessly, till she looses balance of herself and falls directly on Lucien's thoracic cavity. "Dalia!" And this is the last of Lucien's words Dalia hears, before her body succumbs to the darkness that envelops her, whereas Lucien's heart begins to rise in a state of fear. A state that he has never felt in his entire existence, watching the one woman who brings such, fall lifelessly on him. Dalia.
