As though a part of them which always longed for something is finally complete, with the hunger and grip Lucien has against Dalia's skin, while her own body can neither resist the cravings and moans that escape her lips pronouncing the sweetness of the feeling, Lucien's lips has on hers.
Feeling like a dream come true, Dalia traps in every of the sensation she feels, with her hands finally gaining audacity to roam around Lucien's soft silk hair, as she tugs in the intensity of the heat she feels.
Another moan escapes Dalia's lips, feeling Lucien descend his lips to her neck, only making her moan intensify, bringing melodies to Lucien's ear, as he tugs on a sensitive spot on her neck, making Dalia's fingers to move to his back, with her nails digging into his skin through his shirt.
Lucien growling in arousal, feeling Dalia's nails push him very further, that he realizes if he should let Adon take control with the way Dalia drives him crazy, he will make actions that he is certain, Dalia is not ready for.
Lucien takes his mouth off Dalia's skin, as his hands caress her bare smooth thighs, which he has managed to raise from the red gown she wears, while they have their kisses and romances. Dalia, still In the heat of feeling Lucien's touch against hers, crave more and not just his fingers caressing her thighs, part her lips open and her gaze feeling intoxicated.
"Dalia..." Lucien's words come short, as just staring at her does he find his memory hazy of the things he wants to say. "I'm sorry for my absence yesterday." Lucien begins firstly, with one hand resting on her thighs and the other moving to caress her locks.
"Apology accepted." Dalia's reply comes husky, as Lucien dares not resist with that, when he pulls her to him again into another kiss.
"I want to take you whole Dalia... I want to run my mouth every part of your body and claim you as mine..."
"Then do so..." Dalia's words cut him off and even herself, as she of all people know that this attraction happening between she and Lucien is something becoming escalated, yet, it is something she wants and crave, even if she knows it is all happening fast, but at this moment, all she can think of is having Lucien's mouth on hers.
"Not yet Dalia... Not yet." Lucien tells her, with his temple meeting to merge with hers.
"Why?" Dalia with extreme intoxication to feeling Lucien inquires, as she also questions herself why it is she feels this surge and immense pull to Lucien, as though she has never had a man touch her skin before, yet, with Lucien, it goes above whatever she has felt.
"Because, there are things I will want you to know, before we go into this. And without having your consent or knowledge on it, my conscience won't let me." Lucien tells Dalia.
"I'm all ears to listen to them all." Dalia says with a smile, while her fingers move to caress Lucien's handsome face. With her words, Lucien battle to tell her what it is he knows, as deeper within him, he fears for one thing if he does. He fears for her running away, when she eventually knows what it is he keeps from her.
"When the time is right, I will. I promise." Lucien assures her, as Dalia can't help but feel disappointed.
"I don't want to be anyone's play thing. Neither do I want to be a sought of distraction, because I do believe it is no longer hidden that I do crave for you and feel something that I do not understand." Dalia speaks boldly, as her words do create a smile on Lucien's lips at how straightforward she can be, which in return he admires.
Lucien understanding each and very of her words without her needing to say them, as her body language confirms everything. "And I do crave and burn for you in ways you do not know." Lucien speaking truthfully tells Dalia with his green orbs locking on hers.
"Then why do you not wish to let me know?" Dalia questions.
"Because Dalia, I want you to know everything and understand them before I make you do anything you may not comply to." Lucien explains to her.
"Is it about the woman I saw you with earlier in the morning?" Lucien's brows furrows, trying to make sense of Dalia's words that take him back.
"Pardon?" Lucien inquires trying to get clarity of Dalia's words, while his hands descend back to her thighs. "Whom do you speak of?" He furthers.
"I caught sight of you earlier...with someone I presume of high ranking by your side, leaving the palace." Dalia adds with her gaze moving away from Lucien why she interrogates him, whereas Lucien stares at the one woman in front of him with a smirk.
"Do I sense jealousy, Miss Dalia Delvinkin?" Lucien teases Dalia, as a chuckle can't help but escape his lips.
"What? No...I mean why do I need to be...I'm not jealous." Dalia fighting with her own words, trying to keep a bold facade, whereas Lucien sees through.
"Cara was here because I invited her over, while we discussed an emergency that arose." Lucien regardless of his jovial nature now speaks with seriousness.
"An emergency?" Dalia asks now with solemn.
"As of yesterday, it was brought to my ears that we have a rare and new sightings of rogues." Lucien opening up, while he informs Dalia.
"Rogues? What are those?" Dalia asks dumbfounded.
"Rogues are werewolves whom have decided to desert their pack to live on their own and rule haggardly without remorse." Lucien explains to Dalia as her gaze goes wide.
"Heavens!" Dalia mouth goes agape.
"Apparently, they have recently taken into account of terrorizing my territories, having arrival of animal attacks, whereas everyone knows it has to do with a werewolf, which leads back to me as their king. I had to be present there yesterday, having given reports about the bodies they have left, and sole reason for my absence." Lucien tells Dalia, while his gaze stiffen.
"I...I didn't know...I'm sorry. My sincere apologies for thinking else while there is indeed something of great attendance." Dalia's hands caresses Lucien's, using the medium to soothe him.
"No, you have nothing to apologies for, as you did brighten my mood with your assumptions." Lucien chuckles caressing her cheeks gently, while Dalia smiles sheepishly, not saying anything. "Everything that comes out of my lips Dalia, is genuine and I do not intend to play games with you." Lucien's words coming manly, facing Dalia directly, with his hands gripping her thighs, making Dalia's head go hazy at the sensation.
Lucien needs no more words from Dalia, especially when her hands move to wrap around his neck, and pulling him to her, until her lips wrap around his, and they forget about the dinner which they indeed come for at first instance.
--------------
"Why is the competition given two weeks to start after the introduction ceremony?" Dalia questions Lucien, while they begin their morning training for the competition to come.
"Well, it is given such period usually for cases such as ours, as it is believed that time blesses things." Lucien responds, passing Dalia another of a book to read from the library they stay in.
"I guess that is knowledgeable." Dalia comments opening through the book Lucien hands to her.
"I believe I have only mentioned one of the tasks," Lucien's speaks, more of a statement. "Today, I'll be informing you about the others." He adds, while Dalia's concentration stays straight, listening attentively to him.
"There are five tasks which would be held in the competition. One which you know of and the remaining four to be, Dialogue, entertainment, war and strategy and economical and financial management." Lucien States to Dalia.
"Entertainment? How is that to be?" Dalia inquires, while they move away from one section to another.
"That depends on what is given to each of the participants, but, in all cases one would have to create a form of entertainment of any kind. Reason for this, is usually to go hand in hand with the other of the task, Dialogue." Lucien explains. "Yet, all in all, nothing is greater than the task of war and strategy, as it then which mostly require the use of manpower and declaration of how far one would go." Lucien adds, turning to face Dalia completely, with his gaze eye rapping the fullness of her lips.
"In total conclusion, what you mean is, if war and strategy can be won, the rest is just little work?" Dalia asks.
"Exactly. Which means, war and strategy takes the highest mark of each and also the toughest." Lucien reminds her, as Dalia's mouth goes shut, thinking about her own predicament, where she can neither conjure a spell.
Lucien seems to notice her quietness and stillness, while he takes steps closer till he is in front of her. With a smile on his lips, Lucien moves his fingers to stroke her chin, taking her gaze to stare at him. "I know you don't understand your powers yet, but, do not forget I did promise you that you will. For that, I have employed a teacher for you, who will understand what it is you feel. One whom will be able to relate, and teach you till you master it, and you're ready." Lucien's informs Dalia, with his fingers still stroking the brown skin on her face.
"But what if I'm not ready when it is time?" Dalia asks fearfully.
"Then, we will always find another way out. I promise." Lucien tucks strands of hair to her hair, whereas Dalia stares at Lucien, as all she can think about is how fate has brought her to be by someone as Lucien.
Something she is still yet to understand.
Feeling the warmth, and safety she acquires from his presence alone, Dalia doesn't know when her body reacts and she has her hands wrapped around Lucien's torso, hugging him tightly. "Thank you. Thank you for everything you do for me." Dalia's words coming soft but audible, as where her mind wanders, she doesn't know if Lucien may be pretending to her, as they haven't known each other long enough, yet, she doesn't seem to care anymore, as this is her present and she is ready to dwell only in the present.
And in this present, she has her hands wrapped around the high and mighty prince who sends kisses and romances to drive her out of her mind.
