4 | My Beauty

1051 Words
Kane Augustus's POV I watched as she swayed her hips to the beat of the song playing. My eyes took in every movement she made, not allowing me to look away even if I tried. I sipped my drink slowly, waiting for the right moment to approach her. The music slowed down and I smiled. Thank you Jesus, I said in my head before downing the rest of my drink. I slid the empty glass across the bar and stood up. I walked over to the dancing beauty before me and I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her back against my front. She leaned her head back and continued to move her hips, causing her ass to grind against my d**k. She turned around and smiled at me, never once letting her eyes look away. It was like she knew it was me. I licked my lips and glanced at hers. She licked hers in response and I moved closer. Our lips were about to touch, but a disruption in the bar occurred. My beauty and I both looked to the side and saw two men fighting with pool sticks. "s**t," she muttered. The guy she was with ran up to her and pulled her away from the fight and me. I watched as she frowned then nodded her head. My beauty and the guy both disappeared out of the door in one quick motion. It took my mind a second to realize I let her get away without knowing her name. I cursed and took off in the same direction. A person stepped in front of me, blocking my path and I growled. "Move!" I yelled and the woman jumped to the side. "Sorry," I mumbled at her scared expression and carried on with my mission. By the time I got out of the bar, she was already gone. I felt my phone vibrate so I pulled it out of my pocket. Dallas Come get me ASAP! Kane What's wrong? Dallas This guy is an ass! He keeps hinting that he wants to f**k! Kane Be there in a second. That prick is dead. I shoved my phone in my back pocket and ran towards my car. I unlocked it and jumped inside, starting it up and reversing out of the parking lot quickly. I was to the restaurant in seconds, putting my car in park and jumping out. Dallas stood there arguing with her date. He looked up and gulped when he saw me approaching. "Dallas," I growled lowly as I neared them. "Big brother," she said in relief. "Please just take me home," she said with tears in her eyes. "What happened? You wouldn't be crying over someone wanting to sleep with you." She glanced at the boy who looked as if he would faint any second now then looked back at me. "Not now. Not here. Let's go," she said, pulling me in the direction of my running car. "You better watch it!" I yelled at the boy and his eyes went big before he ran to his car. We got inside the vehicle and I growled again. "The bastard has a car?!" I asked loudly. "Um, yeah. Asshole I tell you," Dallas mumbled, not meeting my eyes. She seemed off. She was definitely hiding something, but I decided against using my lawyering skills. She would talk when she was ready. "Did you at least eat?" I asked her, my voice laced with concern. "You want an honest answer?" She asked with a huff. "Of course," I told her. "No. We didn't even eat!" She said in annoyance. I choked back a laugh and sighed. "Where do you want some food from?" She gave me a sideways look and I laughed out loud. "Mc Donald's it is," I said and put my turning signal on to switch lanes. She was lucky I loved her. "I'm surprised you answered my text so fast," Dallas said, interrupting my thoughts. "Yeah. Some s**t went down at the bar so I was leaving anyways," I told her. She didn't need to know about the beautiful woman I met. She'd pry into my business and I've been doing a good job at keeping her out of my relationships. She was always trying to set me up with someone. I pulled into the drive thru and rolled my window down. "Hello, welcome to Mc Donald's. What can I get you?" A lady asked. "Two cheeseburgers, no pickles or onions, a small fry, and a medium caramel frappe with extra caramel drizzle please," I told the woman. "Will that be it?" She asked. "Yes," I replied. "Your total is $7.87. Pull around to the first window," she said and I did just that. I grabbed a ten from my wallet and handed it to the worker. After I got Dallas her food, we went straight home. Throughout the drive, I let my mind drift off into thought once more. That woman. Those curves. Her eyes. Her plump lips. The way she moved. Everything about her drew me in instantly. When she bumped into me at the bar while trying to get a drink, I could I smell her perfume and body wash. She smelled fruity with a mix of lavender, and her voice was music to my ears. It was intoxicating. I was ready to jump over the bar and slap the bartender silly when she caught an attitude with my mystery woman. I'd find that angel again. She could bet on that. There was no getting away from me. "Kane!" My sister yelled and I looked over at her. "What?" I asked with my eyebrows knitted. "We're home. Let's get down," she said in a duh tone and I sighed. "Sorry. I was lost in thought," I told her as I proceeded to get out of the car. Walking over to the front door, I unlocked it and pushed it open for Dallas. She ran passed me and up the stairs and I laughed at her graceful quickness. I turned back around and locked up then made my way to my own room. Once undressed, I climbed in bed and took in the darkness around me. Time for some sleep then tomorrow I'd use my skills to find that breathtaking raven.
