Chapter 18: Hospital (3)
“I need to go.” Bella said while trying to stand up suddenly and feeling the aftereffects of her inactivity for the past few days. She instantly felt lightheaded and dizzy.
“You are not going anywhere! You haven’t recovered yet.” Rose said commandingly to the woman trying to get up.
“How am I supposed to stay here and do nothing?!” Bella wasn’t having it. She couldn’t just accept being told what to do like this.
“Just stay put! You’re not the one to be dealing with this!” Rose said with an even louder voice.
“Except for me who else can do it? Chase doesn’t have any more police privileges as he once did! Neither could you get your hands on such valuable data! I’m the only one who can figure this out!” Bella as lightheaded as she was didn’t seem to care much.
