Chapter 10: When we realize… (1)
The Negotiator walks out of the gas station and calmly goed to the police vehicle.
“Bella! Are you okay?” Chase looked as worried as ever but the woman he spoke to didn’t seem to even hear his words.
“Go get him.” She said and then went silent.
“Who?” Jeremiah asked after overhearing the conversation.
“Are you brain-dead? The criminal obviously, he’s still inside.” The Negotiator spoke such spiteful words unlike her usual calm, indifferent self.
Jeremiah rushed in after hearing her response. After he went inside though the only thing he saw was a dead man lying on the ground. Next to the body were unknown pills in a small box which seemed to be half empty.
