Shock!
Betrayal!
Pain!
Confusion!
Fright!
Anger!
Nothing could had been used at that particular moment to pin point exactly what Arya was feeling.
Seeing right in front of her was the living proof of infidelity of her sister’s so-called fiancé, the man who claimed to love her sister with all his might; f*****g butt naked her other sister, who apparently seemed well involved in the entire process.
“Oh My God!” David gasped, pulling his thick fluid covered p***s out of Lana, who growled; as she definitely didn’t have her finish. He turned and flashed his c**k to Arya who scrunched, turning her face away.
“Listen! Arya…” David fumbled with his words, picking up his clothes while Lana only groaned, pulling the sheets to her chest.
“f**k you David!” Arya grunted at him. Turning to face him and clearly show how disgusted she was with him. “How could you f*****g do this.”
“No, this is clearly a misunderstanding.” David pointed out, tucking his vest inside his shorts.
Arya gritted a scream, “How f*****g delightful!” she yelled. “What else the f**k is this?” she stepped ahead and demanded an explanation. At this point she was definitely angered.
“It’s just… a little thing… I can explain. I came here to tell Valerie this thing…” David fidgeted with his fingers, pacing back and forth in anxiety while Arya looked over his hovering figure to see how casually Lana leaned across the bedpost and smoked puffs after puffs of cigarette.
“We… met in Amsterdam and I was having my bachelor’s party and then it happened and then…” David tried explaining and then one thing crossed Arya’s mind.
“You were in Amsterdam?” She questioned Lana, who seemed unbothered by her sister’s curiosity. Arya then realized that indeed Lana did all this only because of her hollow envious pettiness, which made her ruin someone’s self-worth as it made her feel better.
Arya finally concluded that Lana had been on this on purpose, luring a weakling like David to ruin her sister’s happiness.
“You b***h!” Arya spat cutting David off who was midway of explaining the situation but stopped listening to Arya’s vengeance filled voice.
“How could you do this to your own sister?” She growled, “How could you get so f*****g low!” she yelled but Lana seemed unfazed, rubbing her forehead, illustrating how much annoying Arya’s rant sounded to her and this only infuriated Arya even more.
“You are more f****d up then I thought!” Arya showed clear disappointment at the moment in her sister and the low wave in her tone did grab Lana’s attention, who looked up to her sister. “We always thought you just are the way you are…” Arya showed empathy and stepped towards her sister. “But look at you… you shouldn’t have been left this way. You clearly need help.”
Listening to Arya’s word seemed to shake Lana’s soul as a hint of guilt crossed her mind but she immediately masked it by shrugging her sister off.
Arya turned to leave but David crossed her way. He did like Valerie, indeed he loved her but he was a warm-blooded man, in his own brain who couldn’t say ‘no’ to such a temptress like Lana, so he gave in. but he couldn’t afford to lose Valerie, not because he loved her but because he knew Gordon, would break apart their binary ventures, while David had multiple consignments being delivered within the span of next few weeks so he couldn’t afford Gordon knowing about his illicit s****l relationship with his daughter; the one he wasn’t getting married to.
Arya passed a disgusted look to David, who simply gave her a stern one.
“You cannot tell anyone about this.” He c****d his eyebrows, not changing his tone from pleading to threatening one. The mobster inside him was splitting to be displayed just so he could threaten Arya to stay quiet.
Arya on the other hands wasn’t even remotely affected by him. She scoffed at his petty attempt of threatening her. She didn’t know that he was a drug lord on the side as well but even if she did, she wouldn’t have been affected either.
“I am not going to stop at any cost.” She glared at him, “I cannot let my sister marry a monster like you.”
David fisted his hands on his either side, controlling himself from attacking Arya physically. He had no shame to hit a woman but he also knew he couldn’t afford to attack her while he was marrying into the family.
He c****d his neck at Lana and sent her the signal, “She cannot tell anyone.”
Arya looked between the two but decided to ignore and walk out on them. She stepped ahead and David pulled her arm and pushed her back inside the room, while blocking the door. She gasped at his malicious way of touching her but gained her posture, ready to take him down in a fight.
Lana knew that if it got physical it would get uglier than it already is, so she decided to step in.
“Arya… please listen.” She almost said in a pleading tone and Arya turned towards her, her back facing David.
“You cannot tell this to anyone.” Lana hurriedly put on her shirt, followed by her denim shorts.
“Why?” Arya crossed her hands over her chest, posturing to question Lana’s motives, “You’re afraid that aunt and uncle might disown you? Or Valerie’s heart may break? Because Lana, I don’t think you care about any of that.”
“No… it’s just… Arya…” Lana looked down, looking ashamed, searching for an answer to her actions, which even she seemed lost at.
Arya looked at her sister’s lost state. She knew Lana was never to repent on her mistakes but for the first time even she seemed distraught and regretful. Arya stepped ahead and gently reached for her sister’s hand. Lana looked up to her face and bulged her eyes as she watched right in front of her eyes.
David held a bulky white stone decoration piece in his hand, that seemed and felt quite heavy – heavy enough to finish the job he wanted to do. He got it off the mantlepiece over the fireplace, placed on the wall adjacent to the that of the door. He slowly paced and slammed the heavy stone right over Arya head.
She gasped feeling a pounding wave of pain surge right above the back of her head. Her vision started distorting. She dropped her clutch down at the floor and looked up at her sister standing in front of her, who had tears smudged all over her face. Lana stood shocked, while Arya’s knees felt weak, too weak for her to stand straight. She reached for her sister who pulled herself back and Arya felt straight on her knees.
Her hair feeling a pool of seeping wetness as she reached out with a distressed vision of black dots appearing vividly in front of her eyes. She felt Lana move and heard murmurs of arguments between her and what she guessed to be David. Her body started feeling numb as she fell over her side and turned her body straight over back pushing her clutch under the bed, her head tilted sideways. She gasped, having no feeling in her body, while a pool of thick bright red blood accumulated around her head. The dots surged and took over her entire vision and the last thing she saw was Lana and David both looking at her. While Lana had a look of guilt plastered all over her face, David stood straight with a smirk, confident that victory was his.
“What the f**k have you done?” Lana yelled at him, kneeling against Arya and putting her finger in front of Arya’s nostrils. She sighed in peace sensing her breathe.
“We need to take her to the hospital.” Lana suggested. “And why the f**k would you even do that?” She yelled at David and went ahead to grab her phone. David casually walked up to her and held her hand.
“No!”
“What? Are you out of your f*****g mind?”
“No, but you are. Stop f*****g overreacting.” David argued.
“She is an amnesiac, a head injury is fatal for her. We need to take her…”
“Shut up!” David huffed again, looking down at Arya, that had a small pool of blood that now seemed clotted around her head. He rubbed his temples for a while and bent down to pick Arya up.
“What are you doing?” Lana questioned.
“Valerie once told me…”, David spoke ominously, “…Arya had a head injury which made her forget as usual everything and that’s the best we will do. I am going to put her back inside her room, you will clean up this mess, get ready.” He tilted his head and pointed at white dress placed inside the dress jacket over Lana’s vanity, “… go and meet your family at the studio, if they ask you about her…” He pointed at Arya, “… tell them you didn’t see her and be sure to inform one of the maids and be noticed by the housekeeping staff while leaving the house in a casual manner. Got it?”
His words held a threat, he sounded casual, too calmingly casual while committing a crime which creeped Lana out even more.
David walked out carrying Arya in his arms while Lana called him, he groaned in agitation and turned towards her, “What?”
“Just be careful with her.” She suddenly seemed careful of leaving her unconscious amnesic sister alone with David.
He gave her a stern look of aggression and walked towards Arya’s room. He made sure to sneak around, so no one would see him and once inside her room, he gently laid her over her bed and climbed down her window, avoiding to be seen by anyone. He was into his stealth mode and successfully sneaked off the shores of the estate.
Lana, on the other hand, cleaned her room carefully and once done, got into the white dress that she had previously purposely skipped. Getting out of her room, she carefully sneaked around Arya’s room that was right across the hallway, past Valerie’s room. She creaked the door slightly open and saw that Arya was resting peacefully on her bed.
She heaved a sigh and made her way downstairs. She saw her father’s butler, who was an old man in his crisp black suit and white shirt uniform, with a tall, lean figure and greyed hair resting over her wrinkle-stricken face.
“Anders.” Lana nodded her head, acknowledging his presence.
He was their most entrusted person and was almost like family, so Jack had made sure that everyone respected him well enough. So instead of acting out rudely towards Anders like the rest of the housekeeping staff, Lana kind of respected him.
“I see you have finally decided to join your sisters.” He smiled looking at Lana, who nodded her head.
“I was just leaving, so…” she trailed off, having anxiety wrenching her guts but ignored everything and nodded a goodbye at Anders and walked outside the house.
Her usual Tesla X was standing on her usual spot. Taking the car, she drove towards the studio with a huge poundage of guilt in her heart. She always had been irresponsible and reckless and that was one of the main reasons she made headlines with her behavior during the beginning of her modeling career but her agents had her tamed and for the sake of her career she toned down on her rebellious behavior but just because of her selfish ill-mental behavior, her cousin suffered today and it did surge pain through her.
She finally stopped in front of the studio and putting on her fake expressions, that weren’t hard for her to earn, given to her job. She entered inside the studio and what consumed her heart even more was seeing her entire family in distraught. Valerie and Laura were perched down on the plush tufted pink couch while Bianca and Gordon were pacing around the room back and forth. Jack’s gaze went towards his unexpected daughter and stood stunned.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, with a hint of happiness in his tone.
He assumed that Arya must had been convincing Lana, which took her so long to be there.
“Where’s Arya?”
Before Lana could’ve answered Valerie jumped in. Her sister’s ignorance towards her pledge to be there for some stupid pictorial and instead concern for Arya infuriated Lana and she felt stated knowing that Arya was probably unconscious and absent. Finally, her family was missing the inconvenient burden they were rendered unconsentingly tied to, which was Arya or at least that what she thought Arya was.
Suddenly all her guilt wash away as a much eviler side of her took control of her brain.
“Why would I know where she is?” she shrugged, finally deciding to go along David’s plan. She knew she would be diving herself deep in David’s web of evil but her anger was too much to help her think conscience-ly.
“But, didn’t she bring you here?” Bianca shrugged the obviosity of the situation.
“No!” Lana groaned in anger, “You guys think, that Miss Goody-two-shoes, would convince me and then only I would come. I can’t care to come on my own.”
They all gave her a notorious look, pointing the obvious. She gritted her anger inside her and walked to sit next to her mother.
“I came on my own, I don’t know where your precious little Arya is.” She announced and everyone shared a dreaded look.
“She isn’t even picking up her phone.” Bianca complained.
The words rung through Lana’s head. She then remembered Arya’s clutch that was vibrating with her phone inside. And after David took Arya to her room, she didn’t had her clutch on her and by now she guessed that Anders’s must’ve found Arya unconscious and if she is found than they must be searching for her phone too because that would be the first thing she will be needing to catch up on her memory if she would have a total wipe out as David told her.
“Did you at least see her before leaving the house?” Valerie questioned which only startled Lana.
“No!” she replied in impulse realizing how weird she sounded as everyone looked at her. “I mean… no I didn’t.”
“I’ll call Anders.” Jack finally announced and dialed in his butler’s number.
Cold sweat ran over Lana’s neck wondering, the outcomes of what possibly would happen if Anders had found an unconscious Arya. After three rings Anders picked up.
“Anders… did you see Arya?” Jack questioned.
Lana gulped hard and anticipated the worst, watching her father converse over the phone.
“Can you check her room?” Jack asked and Lana’s blood ran cold, wondering how everyone would react.
There was a moment of pause that felt like an eternity to Lana. Finally her father’s breath caught up and so did everyone as Jack asked over the phone;
“Yes, she is in there?”
There was another moment of utter dread, confided within the room, as Jack cut the call off and disappointment was clear in his expressions.
“Well?” Laura questioned as the silence, killed everyone.
“No, she isn’t anywhere in the house.”
