“Well?” Ariana questioned looking at the back door of the large Gordon manor that peacefully serenaded with its stone modern architecture. The sky was turning slightly dark with the thundering clouds that were gathering to pour down any moment. Brian, Vincent and Eve all stood right next to her in a straight row. All wearing black clothes, ready to up their stealth mode, to complete the k********g, assigned to them. “Well… I am off to hack the security system, I need cover.” Brian announced, walking towards the east side of the bricked walls. “Eve, go with him.” Ariana ordered.  “Why the hell are you ordering around? Vincent interrupted. Brian and Eve ignored him and sneaked around to find the main security frame to hack the surveillance system. Eve lifted her black pants up her ankle and pulled out her pistol, fixing the silencer over it. “I really hope, we wouldn’t be needing that.” Brian prayed and pulled his bag, to pull out a thermos. “Did you seriously bring your smoothie?” Eve rolled her eyes. “I don’t work without them, that’s my thing.” He hissed, gulping his smoothie. Vincent on the other hand, stood arguing with Ariana. “Because…. You cannot be trusted; you already lost our itinerary by having anal with that Polynesian w***e!” Ariana gritted at Vincent and sneaked towards the manor. Resting their back against the walls of the boundary of the estate, waiting for Brian’s signal. Brian and Eve sneaked around the adjacent wall of the estate and finally reached the security room. “Brian, what’s the static?” Ariana asked. “Hey! I should be asking that.” Vincent argued and mumbled into his earpiece, “What is the status?” Ariana rolled her eyes in agitation, “I swear, if you screw this up, I will make sure Lucas sees your head on his table.” Her scrutinized tone was enough to tell Vincent she was pretty angered at him. He understood that Ariana was facing a substantial problem of her own, so he let go off the topic at the moment and nodded his head. Seeing him agree to her so easily astonished even Ariana but she decided to ignore him and focus on the mission. Brian and Eve finally breached into the security room and surprisingly found it empty. Connecting his device into the security monitors, Brian began hacking the mainframe to break the security alarms, so that Ariana and Vincent could jump through the estate walls. Eve looked around the small squared, dark room. She studied the two empty swivel chairs that rested, facing the twelve small screened monitors, while a network of framed wires surged throughout the dimly lit room. “Why is this room empty?” She questioned, wondering why was the house security so weak. “There weren’t any cars, didn’t you notice? The security is checked by the guards that probably left with everyone.” Brian told her, which Ariana and Vincent heard over the phone. “What? If no one’s at home then what are we gonna do?” Ariana questioned. “I don’t know.” Brian shrugged and slurped through his smoothie, “Maybe, we would’ve known if we had the itinerary.” Ariana gave a stern look to Vincent who hid his face by turning on the opposite side. “You know, its not that bad… maybe, we can wait until they come back, I mean they have a wedding tomorrow.” Vincent pointed out and everyone simply groaned. While Brian was busy on his laptop screen, Eve’s eyes went towards the monitor screens and she noticed that there were certain housekeepers working on the ground floor; some in kitchen and some in pool area, while a majority was busy in the garden, setting up the venue for the wedding. Her gaze went towards the monitors on the right, displaying the corridors to the upper floor. She scrunched her eyes and noticed the back of a tall man, cradling in his arms what seemed to be a woman. “Brian, zoom in on that.” She tapped onto Ben’s shoulder, making him look at the screen, as his eyes went wide. He immediately worked on his laptop and followed the lead of the man, who seemed to be cautious enough about the cameras and hid his face well enough leading his way down the corridor. “Holy f**k, what the hell is that?” Brian asked, following the man through the camera, until he finally ended up at the end of the hallway in front of a door. The man turned sideways to enter the door and flashed the side of his face, while the woman he was carrying; her face revealed entirely. Brian paused on the screen and zoomed on the faces of the two people. He instantly recognized the man; “It’s David Carrington.”   Ariana and Vincent heard the conversation between Eve and Brian and shared a notorious look. “Where?” Vincent asked, pulling out his pistol and attaching the silencer to it. “He’s in there, upstairs.” Brian informed him. “But not alone.” Eve added, “I guess; he’s with an unconscious or sleeping fiancé… I guess…” her tone seemed confused. “Are you sure that’s her?” Brian asked. “Yeah, pretty much. But she seems thinner.” Eve squinted her gaze on the monitor. “Are you sure it is her?” Vincent enquired. “Hey! Don’t put that kind of pressure on me.” Eve retorted which only made Ariana groan out loud and Vincent noticed how his sister seemed irritated by Eve’s usual behavior. “Eve, just make sure it’s her. We can corner David and take him and take the fiancé too.” Vincent tried to focus on the mission. “We don’t need to corner David.” Ariana spat at Vincent, a little too rudely taking everyone off guard with her tone. “Lucas told us to be careful enough and make sure no one knows it’s us.” Brian focused back on the screen and watched as David left through the back door. “Guys, something is not right. David is sneaking off the back door, He’s coming your way. Jump across the wall right now. That’s the garage wall, no one’s there.” Brian informed. The two nodded, looking at each other and Vincent was the first one to jump up due to his height and sat over the edge of the wall. While Brian watched as David walked through the back door, sneaking around the wall, coming towards Vincent and Ariana. Vincent pulled Ariana up and, in a jiff, the two jumped towards the other side before David could’ve seen them. The two heaved a sigh of relief and Brian worked on the laptop, finally freezing the cameras as there won’t be any evidence of them left behind. Vincent and Ariana made their way inside the house, as guided by Brian and Eve, they snuck upstairs using the back stairs that lead right next to the room. As no one was there and even David had used that staircase to sneak out of the house. They entered inside the room where David had dropped off the sleeping beauty. “Ben, make sure to get that tape of David leaving her unconscious in the room.” Vincent spoke and everyone understood it might be useful after they complete the job. He walked up towards the bed and saw the beauty in front of his eyes, resting peacefully. Her plum lips and long lashes, glowing over her pointy features. “Wow, she is really pretty.” He mumbled, noticing her extremely calm and restful features that didn’t just highlight her beauty on the outside but pictured an entire story of her life and nature. Ariana smacked Vincent’s hard a little too harshly, “So what you gonna do now? f**k her too?” she hissed at him. Vincent scrunched, rubbing the back of his head, “What the f**k is wrong with you?” He yelled at her. “Me? Everything is wrong with you! You are the one who has been sabotaging this entire mission from the very beginning because of your careless behavior.” Ariana yelled back at him, not caring enough to hold back her volume or anger. “Okay, f**k it!” Vincent yelled back, “You have been having some serious issues on your own; personal; might I announce them to be. So, f**k you and your tantrums. Now tell me; what the f**k is going on with you.” Ariana’s eyes filled with guilt, she sighed deeply realizing that she had been purposely throwing her unwanted tantrums at her brother. “I know, she’s been bitchy than the usual.” Eve spoke up and Ariana gasped listening to her words. “Why the f**k would you even say that?” Brian groaned, realizing that the situation was turning ugly. “I wouldn’t disagree with Eve.” Vincent crossed his hands across his chest and notoriously looked at his sister. Even though, the two; Vincent and Eve never got along but at that point they seemed to completely understand each other. “Mom and Dad are coming over tomorrow.” Ariana shrugged and Vincent c****d his eyebrows, understanding the entire scenario. Eve simply rolled her eyes in annoyance, listening to Ariana’s words; she very well understood what was coming. “So, I am banned from your place for the ‘the amount of time’ they are staying over. That’s what you’ve been having difficulty in speaking up.” Eve spoke with irritation filled in her voice. “I am sorry okay! I don’t have any other choice.” She turned arguing over the earpiece. “Yes, you have!” Vincent argued. “You have the choice to tell them about Eve and tell them that you prefer girls over the shitty race of men.” Brian added to the argument. “It’s not that easy, I just feel that I disappoint them.” Ariana spoke and Brian looked up to Eve who had a grim expression over her face, her feeling definitely being placed in a risky zone. “I don’t know, how they feel about all of this okay!” Ariana looked up at Vincent who had a soft look for his sister, while Brian looked at Eve who stood with a broken expression. Vincent went ahead and pulled his sister into a hug. While the two siblings shared a moment; they completely forgot about the time and place. Their moment was disturbed by a stifling groan, followed by an exasperated sigh. They stiffened as they turned towards the girl on the bed who shifted in her position and tried opening her eyes. Ariana immediately opened up her jacket and pulled out the handkerchief, that had nylon cotton mixed cloth, with a stuffed-in ecstasy that was sufficient enough to knock anyone out of their senses. They watched as Arya’s entire body shifted with extreme difficulty and with closed eyes she tried standing up, they stood in complete silence as Arya, who they thought is Valerie, stumbled in the flowy dress and finally stood up. Her head still throbbing and shooting extreme waves of pain, from where she had been hit early. Her brain knocking complete blackout from any previous memory; if anything, she didn’t even remember herself at the moment. Standing up straight, her hair slightly distorted and body trembling. She touched the back of her head and brought her hand in front of her face, trying to open her eyes that felt too heavy and numb for her to open. She groaned, walking ahead and stumbled until Vincent caught her and she fell over her arm. He looked directly at the back of her head and saw the smudges of blood over her hand that she previously toucher her head with and at the back of her hair. He squinted his gaze looking at Ariana who also understood that ‘Valerie’/‘Arya’ was indeed already injured. Ariana stepped ahead and held the cloth near Arya’s face who didn’t even bother to struggle and immediately went unconscious again. Brian looked up at the monitor screen and gasped, “Guys, I guess you are having another visitor.” He warned the two inside the room as he saw another lady in a white wedding dress, walk down the corridor. “s**t! She’s one of the Gordon sisters.” Eve pointed out. Somehow only she seemed to be the only one familiar with the Gordon family. Vincent looked up at Ariana and she pushed Arya out of his grasp onto the bed, laying her straight. And the two rushed into the closet, closing the door behind them just in time for Lana to slightly open the door and watch Arya from a distance and immediately leave, closing the door behind. “She’s gone.” Brian informed watching her move through the monitor screens. Vincent and Ariana finally stepped out and decided to execute the next step of their plan. “We don’t have much time.” Brian reminded them. “We don’t need much time.” Vincent smirked, stepping ahead and picking Arya up. Finally, it was about time. _______________________________________
