"I should have just dyed my hair black back, I think I look horrible and ugly", Aphrodite thought as she sluggishly comb her hair as she prepares for school in her room.
Aphrodite have grown up to be a beautiful young lady and was now twenty years old. After leaving everything and coming to the city to start a new life, Shimshon start working as a car dealership and in between his wife, Aleit become pregnant and have birth to a boy whose name was Derrick. He was born exactly one year after they left the wicked Kingdom of Seymour. Different from the past, everything have become modern different from the past and they live among humans. Right after Derrick turned six years of age, Shimshon business start growing up and Aleit also start her business in dealing with selling of golds jewelries.
Aphrodite was unaware of her past and lives in happiness with her parents and younger brother, Derrick. Shimshon and Aleit become well known in the city as they become more popular and wealthy but nobody was aware about the family's real identity as wolves from a certain clan.
Aphrodite was in college while Derrick was still in high school and both of them attend the best private schools in the city.
Aphrodite P.O.V
I was in my room preparing for school when Derrick, my troublesome cute younger brother entered.
"What are you still doing?", He asked as he sit on my bed.
"Preparing for school of course, it's not like you are blind little dummy", I said dropping the comb in my hand.
"Whatever", He said sticking out his tongue at me.
"Derrick", I said turning to my brother who was playing with my teddy bear.
"Yes", He answered clutching the teddy bear to his chest.
"Do I look horrible with the new hair color?", I asked packing my hair in a ponytail.
"Of course you do", He replied smiling.
"I do?", I asked getting serious.
"Of course you don't, I'm just kidding, you look more beautiful in blonde than in your usual black", He answered smiling.
"You think so?", I asked again.
"I don't think so, I know you do, Just hurry up and let's go, Dad is probably at the dinning table eating his breakfast already and I don't want to be late", He said hurrying me up as he drop my teddy bear.
"Okay", I said taking my cap wanting to put it on only for it to flew off my hand "What the hell Derrick", I said looking at my brother whose eyes color have changed from brown to blue.
"Why are you covering your beautiful hair with a cap", He said as his eyes color changes back to brown.
"I have told you not to use that trick on me again", I said as I smack his head.
"That's hurt", He shouted rubbing where I smacked him.
"It was meant to be hurtful", I replied "Stop playing tricks on me with your power again"
"Don't avoid my question", He said glaring at me.
"Mum and Dad haven't seen it", I answered his question.
"That you dye your hair?", He asked.
"Of course", I said snatching my cap from his hand.
"What!", He exclaimed taking the cap from my hand with the same trick he use earlier.
"Stop that Derrick", I said slightly annoyed.
"It's been two days sis, Just tell them already, they won't get angry and besides it's Cassy who dye it for you so they won't be annoyed", He said.
"Okay, but if they get angry, it will be your fault", I said as I point at him. "And stop using your power on me"
"I'm just having fun with my sister, is anything wrong with that", He said smiling as he continue "I almost did that at school yesterday to my homeroom teacher because she annoyed me"
"Derrick", I said.
"I didn't anyway", He said shrugging his shoulders.
"Listen to Dad", I said.
"Whatever", He said and went out of my room.
"Here goes nothing", I said nervously and went out of my room closing the door behind me. As I entered where my parents were, my mum was the first to notice my hair.
"What happened to your hair Aphrodite", My mum asked moving close to me as she touch my hair.
"Actually, two days ago, Cassy asked to dye my hair and since I have wanted to always try a new hair color, I allowed her, I'm so sorry I did that without your permission", I said hurriedly praying they don't get annoyed.
"You look beautiful", My dad said looking at me.
"What!", I exclaimed.
"Yes, you look absolutely stunning sweetheart", My mum said as she sit down to eat her breakfast.
"You guys aren't angry?", I asked surprisedly as I sit beside my brother who was already eating.
"That's silly", My mum said.
"I thought you would be mad at me for dyeing my hair behind your back", I said still shocked.
"You are an adult now so you have every right to decide for yourself when it comes to fashion so", My mum said as she serve me my breakfast.
"I told you they won't be mad at you", Derrick said as he continue eating.
"Hurry up now so you won't be late for school", My dad said as we all eat our food.
After we were done with breakfast, Dad erase my body scent as he normally does everyday before I go out which he doesn't do to Derrick probably because I'm the first child and he drove us to school. Derrick was dropped at his school first as his school was just twenty minutes drive to my college. On our way to my school, Dad started a conversation with me.
"Aphrodite", He called.
"Yes dad", I answered looking at him.
"I don't want you to get me wrong that I'm annoyed at you for dyeing your hair but I hope you didn't tell your friends who we really are?", He asked.
"I didn't", I replied.
"Don't let anyone know okay", He said as he focus back on his driving.
"But dad, can't we just let the Benedito's know, we have been friends with them for over five years", I said as my dad looks back at me.
"We will but not now, for our safety and especially for your safety", He said.
"Especially me?", I asked looking at him.
"We are here", He said as he stopped the car.
"Dad", I said still looking at him.
"Just do as I say Aphrodite", He said as he unlock the car door not answering my question by what he meant when he said especially me.
"Okay", I replied giving up and not wanting to ask further as I wave to him and he drove off.
"What is my parents hiding from", I said out curiously and head inside the campus not getting what my dad mean by especially me.
