Bella's POV
"Enough of this madness already," Jace declared with frustration and anger. He turned his attention to Brent. "Brent, leave this pack immediately. You're not welcome here."
Brent shot him a challenging look, a defiant smirk playing on his lips. "Unless what? What are you going to do if I don't leave, tough guy?"
I couldn't believe the chaos unfolding before me, Jace and Brent on the brink of a confrontation. I rushed in between them just in time, my frustration boiling over.
"Enough!" I yelled, the force of my voice cutting through the tension. "You two are acting like overgrown kids. I have too much on my mind right now, and the last thing I need is babysitting two grown men with inflated egos."
