I spent the rest of the day locked in my room. By morning I had a dozen missed calls and texts from Mia, Oliver and Liam. Mindi had only messaged me to let me know that besides the end she still had a really good time and hoped to hang out again soon, promising next time that she wouldn’t pull me into a pool.
