Chapter 3: Meeting

1630 Words
Jamie's POV I was walking with Gavin around this small town near the pack camp. He was talking to me about his boyfriend, Benji. They've been dating for about a year now and they're starting to get really, really close with everything. They might even move in together after this year. Gavin wanted to go to this bookstore down here that I wasn't interested in, so I told him that I probably would go to a different store while he does his thing. "Where are you going to go? I'll just go in there once I'm finished." Gav asked me, standing next to the front doors of the bookstore. I looked around the town and pointed to a store. "I'll be in the record store." He nodded and disappeared into the store. I walked across the street. The little record shop was playing Green Day and I was glad that someone still appreciated their talent. There weren't that many people here, so I went to an stack of records and started to flip through them.Spectrum of Death, Run (Don't Walk Away), Harrow/Nautilus, Killin' It, American Beauty... I went through a lot of records. I heard a tiny crash and my reflexes kicked in as I grabbed a vinyl that was about the fall. Two were already on the ground, thanks to some guy who was standing in front of me. I looked over the vinyl and smiled. "The Beatles, nice." "Yeah, they're pretty good." The guy who was standing in front of me said. I handed the vinyl back to him and looked up to meet his eyes. When I did, I froze. His beautiful eyes made my heart stop and my eyes to widen. I felt tingles throughout my body because our fingers were slightly touching next to each other on the vinyl. "H-h-hi." I whispered out. He seemed speechless as his body went through the same thing mine did. He had sweat starting to form on his forehead and I smiled, softly. "I-I'm Alex." He whispered. "Jamie." I whispered back. He suddenly gave me a confused look and took the vinyl from my hand. "Jamie? As in Jamie Nance?" "Uh, yeah." I said. How did he know who I was? "You're in the White Water Pack." He said, lowly, so no one else would hear. That's when it clicked. Of course! He was the beta! "Oh my f*****g gosh, I'm so sorry, sir. You're the beta, I completely forgot." He chuckled. "It's okay, Jamie. Don't worry about it." "It's really nice to actually meet you." I said, chuckling. "Yeah, you too." "Y-you like records?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation up because I never wanted to stop talking to him. "Yeah, I just needed to get away for a bit and Jack suggested this place." He said. Oh, f**k, he was talking about the alphas. That's too high of a rank for me to be hanging around, in my opinion. I was way too sarcastic and flamboyant for them. "Jamie, let's go." Gav said, coming to stand next to me with his phone in his hand with a huge smile on his face. I cleared my throat and he looked up at Alex. "Oh, hi, sir. How are you?" "I'm good. Gavin, is it?" Alex asked. "It is." "Uh, Jamie, can I take you home instead? Or would you rather go with Gavin?" Before I had a chance to answer, Gavin stepped in. "Oh, you can totally take him." "Not that I don't want to go with him, but that was rude, sweetie." I said, glaring at Gav. "I got a hot boyfriend to go f**k. Bye, bitch." Gavin said and patted my head before leaving. Alex had an amused look on his face and he grabbed the vinyl that I had in my hand that I was going to buy. He smiled as he looked over the cover. "Nirvana, awesome." "Yeah, I've been looking for that vinyl actually." I said. "Come on, let's go." He said, motioning for me to follow him. He put his vinyl and mine up on the counter. He held his card out for the lady and I grabbed his arm before she could take it. I gasped at the tingles. "I can pay for my own." I whispered to him. "Jamie, it's fine." He said, chuckling. I pouted and he gave the lady the card. He patted my head like Gav did and I immediately brightened up. He grabbed the bag and thanked the girl before walking out with me. Once we got to his car, he unlocked it and held my door open for me. I smiled and got in. Once he sat down in the driver's seat, I realized that we were going to be in the car for about an hour and a half, which is how faraway the camp is from here. "So Alex what?" I asked him. "Alex Ivey." He told me. "That's cute, I like it." "How old are you?" He asked. "I'm 18, just turned it on May 3rd." I said. "Then consider the record a late birthday gift." "Well, thanks then, sweetie." I said and winked at him when he looked at me. He chuckled. "You work at Pacsun?" "Yep, I have for a couple of months now. It's not my favorite job, but some pretty fine guys come in every now and then." He cleared his throat."Well, I hope you won't look at them anymore." I smirked. "Did I get a jealous one?" I joked. He had his hand resting on the bar thing separating us and I debated on if I should take it or not. I decided to just go with my gut and I reached over and grabbed it. "I need you to do me a favor." He whispered. "Okay." "Don't be so hostile around me, Jamie. You're my mate. I know I'm your beta and I outrank you, but you're mine now. I may not have claimed you yet, but I will soon." I smirked, deciding to make him a little uncomfortable. I put my hand on his thigh, sliding it up. This was a part of my personality too, I loved using s*x and uncomfortableness as a way to get under people's skin. He shifted in his seat and I leaned over. I bit his ear lobe, pulling on it a bit. He trapped his bottom lip between his teeth and he let out a shaky breath. We haven't even kissed yet, but I knew he enjoyed what I was doing. We both liked to use s*x against people. I could tell. We would make people uncomfortable with innuendos and "accidentally" doing s****l stuff. "Jamie, no." He said, scolding me like a little puppy that had gotten into the trash. "Let me have fun, babe." I whispered into his ear. "No." He groaned, shifting in his seat again when I pulled harder on his ear. "Oh, shush, you love this." I whispered. I let my hand run up from his stomach to his chest. I found his hard n****e through his shirt and started to pull on it. He groaned again and used one hand to, lightly, push me away. "Baby, no, let me have fun." I whined. "You use pet names on everyone?" "That's just my personality, sweetie." I reassured him. "You're considered flamboyant, right?" He whispered and I could tell that he was reluctant to ask. "Yeah, I am." He nodded, but didn't say anything to answer my confirmation. It's super obvious that I'm feminine and I've been bullied about it countless number of times, but I could care less. "You didn't want to be mated to a feminine guy, right?" I asked him. "How'd you know?" "You're just that type. I annoy you, don't I?" I asked, scared for my answer. "No, you don't annoy me," he said, quickly. "it's cute actually." "Well," I started. "you're cute actually." He chuckled and nodded. "Whatever you say, Jamie." I sighed and started to play with my hands. "A-are we going to hang out more?" Alex nodded, looking at me. "Of course. How about dinner tomorrow?" "Dinner?" I whispered, looking at him with wide eyes. "Yes, dinner." "O-okay, that sounds good." I whispered. He parked the car and I realized that we were already at camp. I pouted and once he noticed it, he chuckled. "Don't worry, Jamie. I'll see you tomorrow at seven, okay?" I nodded and he told me to wait in my seat as he went to open my door. I smiled as I got out. We were parked in front of my house and I sighed. I rather be with him than at home by myself. "Hey, you okay?"He asked me as he shut the door. "I don't want to go." I whispered. He sighed and wrapped his arms around me. "I'll see you tomorrow." He whispered, pulling away from the hug. His gaze looked down at mine and once we made eye contact, I knew what was about to happen. I put my hand on the back of his neck, pulling his lips down onto mine. Our skin reacted by sending tingles down our bodies and it was amazing. It was like we were connected spiritually. We were connected on so many levels and I've never been this close to someone. We pulled away from the amazing kiss and he smiled, playing with the collar on my shirt. "Thank you for an amazing night." He whispered. "Anytime, sweetie. I'll see you soon." I whispered and kissed his cheek before going up to my house. I turned around one last time and he was looking at me from the spot we were previously at. I winked at him before disappearing into my house.
