She received word from her uncle. Apparently, there’s this party and he needs someone to accompany him. Alam ni Luc na sinusubukan siya ni Jaime. Dati-rati kasi sa mga okasyong ganito, siya ang kasama ng tiyuhin dahil wala naman itong steady girlfriend. Nang mamatay ang mga magulang ng dalaga, hindi na niya nasamahan ang tiyuhin sa kahit na anong gathering na dinadaluhan nito.
“Your friends has been asking about you,” himok ni Jaime.
Luc scoffed. What friends? Ni isa ay walang dumalaw sa kanya. Before the accident, she has a plethora of those so-called friends hovering around her. Mabuti pa nga ‘yong security personnel sa building ng studio niya, hindi nakalimot sa kanya. The accident opened her eyes as to who were her real friends are.
“What friends, uncle? I have none,” Luc ret
