Chapter 5: Pinch His Butt"That arrogant beast!"
Anne glared at him. However, he was talking to those around him and did not see her.
When Yvonne saw him, her eyes lit up. She immediately threw her bag on top of the stuff that Anne was carrying. Now Anne's head was blocked.
"Hello, I'm Yvonne Yoda from LP Magazine." Yvonne reached out her hand.
The man raised his head and glanced at her indifferently.
"I'm sorry. We're going up. Please take another elevator." Two guys stopped Yvonne and said.
Yvonne was very popular in the social circle. It was the first time that she had been refused. She withdrew her hand in embarrassment and said, "I came here to interview Mr. Landon."
"Please take another elevator. Thank you." The guys did not give in at all.
"There's enough room in the elevator. Why do I have to go out?" Yvonne's face turned blue. She looked at the man with resentment and stood where she was.
The man turned to look at the two women in the corner. Anne lowered her head and cursed him silently.
"It's almost time. Let's go." A middle-aged man said.
The guys stepped back and closed the elevator door.
At this time, the man had come to the middle of the elevator and stood on the left side of Anne. Yvonne thought she had won, so she quietly approached the man and greeted him in a sweet voice.
"I haven't seen you before. Are you here to see Mr. Landon too?"
The man didn't even turn his head, let alone answer her.
Yvonne wasn't frustrated. She took out her business card and held it in front of him. "Nice to meet you. LP Magazine has just started a high-end business column. We'll interview the most famous entrepreneurs in the country. Mr. Landon is our first Greenest. I'm wondering if you are interested."
"Please be quiet." The middle-aged man stopped her and said seriously.
Yvonne smiled awkwardly.
As Anne struggled to hold everything with one hand, she calmly reached out the other hand and pinched the man's butt.
The man immediately turned around and looked at Yvonne in surprise.
Seeing that the man was finally willing to look at her, Yvonne immediately cheered up and gave him a sweet smile.
"Throw her out." the man said with a look of disgust in his eyes.
"What?" Yvonne was stunned.
The elevator stopped, and some guys pushed Yvonne out rudely. Wearing high heels, she stumbled a few steps and fell to the floor.
The people outside were shocked and turned to look at her.
"There's no need to push me. I'll go on my own." Anne snickered secretly. She lowered her head and quickly walked out.
Her voice was trembling as if she was scared.
Just as she stepped out of the elevator, a hand grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back...
"Ah..." Her hands gave way and all the stuff fell to the floor, including the camera that cost tens of thousands.
"Hey..." Yvonne got up angrily and wanted to squeeze into the elevator. "You are going too far!"
Suddenly, she froze. Pointing at the man in the elevator, she stammered, "You are David Howard..."
David Howard was the only heir to the Howard Group. Lenny Landon was his brother-in-law and served as vice president. It was not easy for her to make an appointment with Lenny Landon. Unexpectedly, she saw David Howard today.
It was said that David Howard only liked men. It was rare to see him with any woman because he did not like women touching him.
Her face was getting redder, and her forehead was sweating. If she irritated David Howard, LP Magazine would have a hard time, let alone her.
The elevator slowly closed in front of her eyes and continued to go up.
Anne turned stiffly to look at the man behind her.
"Anne Green from LP Magazine." The man stared at her.
"Bad luck! What a disaster!" Anne glared at him and squatted down to pick up her stuff.
The camera was expensive, and she couldn't afford it. All she could hope for now was that it would work!
Anne turned on the camera and tried it. She breathed a sigh of relief and quickly hung the camera around her neck. She continued to clean up the mess on the floor. The documents and the notebook were all hers. They could be repaired if they were broken. The camera was Yvonne's. Yvonne would make her pay for it if it was broken.
"Miss Green..." The middle-aged man squatted down to help her pick up the notebook and whispered, "You are breaking the agreement. You can't show up in front of Mr. Howard."
"Damn it! I didn't know that I would run into him!" Anne said angrily, "Do you know that if these things are broken, I will lose several months' pay?"
"Give her money." David Howard turned his head away and said lightly.
"Okay, give me the money." Anne became angrier. She stretched out her hand, and her fingertips almost poked his chin.
Chapter 6: Why Would I Want You to Like Me?The man was really tall. When she looked up at him like this, her neck was sore.
Seeing her white fingers swinging in front of his eyes, David Howard suddenly grasped her wrist and pressed it aside.
"I don't like girls like this."
"Why would I want you to like me?" Anne sneered and pulled back her hand.
"People I don't like usually have a hard time," David said in a low voice.
"You... I already have a hard time. And you want to make it worse?" Anne felt sad.
It was true. She already had a hard time. She was homeless due to her stepmother. She was about to lose her dream job. Her boyfriend had deceived her for so long... Now she met this man!
Her first time making love should have been with someone she loved in a better place, but this man r***d her under that bed.

There was silence in the elevator. Watching as she poked his chin with her fingers, everyone was worried about her.

The elevator stopped.
The door opened. A large group of people stood outside, including Yvonne, his brother-in-law Lenny Landon, and his two sisters.
"Welcome back, David. Why didn't you tell us? We should have gone to the airport to meet you." His sisters were all smiling. They looked at Anne as they spoke to David.
"Anne, come out now." Yvonne gritted her teeth and glared at Anne.
Anne quickly retracted her hand, picked up her stuff, and walked out of the elevator with her head lowered.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Howard. Please forgive her." Yvonne smiled and apologized.
"Why is she still here?" David stared at her sternly.
The smile on Yvonne's face froze, and she said awkwardly, "Mr. Howard, what makes you so angry? Give me a chance to make up for it. Mr. Landon and I..."
"What are you waiting for?" David walked past her.
His sisters and Lenny Landon didn't know what had happened. They looked at each other for a while, and then took a few steps back to keep a distance from Yvonne.
They all knew David well. If anyone dared to provoke him, they would really have a hard time. It was best to keep away from the woman he hated.
"Mr. Landon, our interview..." Yvonne was anxious and quickly threw a pleading look at Lenny Landon.
"I don't want to see LP Magazine anymore," David turned around and said coldly.

Anne stood there in a daze, not knowing what to do.

"Bastard, it's me who pinched your butt. It has nothing to do with LP." She threw her stuff on the floor, and rushed over to pinch his butt again.
There was a silence. All the others gasped at what she was doing.
David looked down at her hand. A strange expression appeared on his face.

David looked away and continued walking forward.

The others glanced at her and hurriedly followed David into his office.

The door to David's office was closed. Carrying her stuff in her arms, Anne stepped into the elevator slowly.
