The next week flew by. Monday night, I got to watch baby Ty for the first time, and it filled my heart with joy.
I finally got ahold of my brother. He sounded exhausted, and I feel like something’s wrong, even though he told me everything was fine. He asked me to take the money he and Felix gave me, and to go buy a new phone. So grandma just put me on her plan for now. I asked if mom and dad were having some financial difficulties, but he didn’t answer, so I am assuming that’s the case.
Felix hasn’t texted or spoken with me since Tuesday, but he said he had a meeting out of town, so I think it’s best to be patient and not push him too hard. He sounded really tired too, last time we talked.
