Chapter - 07

JACE MATTHEWS P.O.V

It was pitch dark outside Doll's backyard. When I saw her stepping out I didn't even lets her come out properly and pulled her in my arms. She clearly didn't had any idea I was going to hug her tightly.

"You nearly gave me heartattack, you stupid rat"

She said in my chest and her fist punched me. A laugh reverberate through my chest when she said stupid rat.

I wanted to be in that hug for a few more minutes but she pulled herself and dragged me away from the door towards the main backyard. I let her pulled me into the dark night where the only source of light was moon and stars.

"Why didn't you informed me before?"

Doll whispered scream at me. And this whole time I was admiring her cute angry bunny look. Her pigtails were like bunny ears.

"You don't want me here..."

I murmured by getting a foot closer to her. I know my closeness affects her and I am so gonna use it.

"No... I don't mean..."

I didn't let her complete and went even near her.

"Then you want me here?"

To mess with her mind I played with the words, pulling her leg in a way...

"Yea... I want you...wait are you playing with me... You little piece of shrimp"

She softly saying then she understood what I was doing and her voice went soft to angry in a mere second.

Doll ran behind me and in the end moment I saved my arse to be kicked by jumping to the side. I stood behind a small bush where she was trying to catch me.

In the end when I ran towards another bush she jumped on me and tackled me to the ground. I fell face first and Doll sat on my back.

Doll started to punch me on the shoulder blade. And let me tell you she was killing me with her weight.

"Oww..oww sky... Skylar staap..."

I whispered screamed in pain when she didn't stopped there. I grabbed her hand somehow and pulled her to my side.

This time I was above her, I clutched both of her wrist above the head and inhaled a long breathe inside. Doll was squirming under me but I didn't got affected by it.

"Get up J"

I shook my head in no and started tickling her stomach. She tried getting out of my hold but this made me tightened it even more.

Her hoodie rose up a little bit which gave me excess to her skin. I slowly made circles to tickle her, Doll was laughing but then suddenly stopped moving.

"Ha... Are you done tickling me?"

She asked with a bored expression. I was shocked at the sudden change in behaviour of hers. As if my tickle didn't phase her.

"For. Your. Kind. Information... I am not ticklish"

She slowly said each words as if I am some retarded person.

I was shocked which gave her enough opportunity to push me off of her. I fall beside her but didn't got up and laid there. Even Sky lied down beside me. Our hands were under the head to support.

We were star gazing and making symbols through them. The night led us to the even dark part of the night. The chilling breeze made us come closer. We shared the warmth of our body to not feel cold.

At some point when she was saying something and didn't agreed with her, doll placed her leg over my hip. She raised her head to balanced it on her palm.

"I am right! Wanna bet?"

She challenged me. We were talking about a Fireflies place. Doll said it was in the eastern side of the city and I told her it was in the west.

"Okay... If I won you will have to wear the dress I decide and if..."

"And if I won I am going to drive you to this fireflies place. And I will drive your motorcycle."

She said her side of the deal. I gave a thought to it and agreed. Because a memory crossed my mind which made me right.

"So... I am checking on Google..."

Doll furiously typing on the search bar happily and soon her smiley face turned soar. I snatched up her cell phone and whispered scream 'yes' in happiness when I saw the results.

"We are going shopping on Saturday!"

I stated and went back to gazing at stars. Her mouth formed an 'o' at my exclamation. Doll thinks she can save her a*s from me but thats not possible.

"But I am going with Kylie and Lexi..."

"You can go but I am deciding your clothing and thats not for discussion."

I acted like to think about her statement then said what I said. And Kylie and Lexi going for shopping means shopping everything from the store.

So in right sense I actually saved dolls a*s. Tomorrow is Friday and tomorrow is my tennis match too. The party is on Saturday night. So I have all Saturday to take doll for shopping.

"Doll??"

I murmured while looking at the midnight blue sky. The stars where scattered around it like a confetti.

"Mhmm?"

"Did you ever had a boyfriend?"

I asked out of curiosity. She never mentioned about her past life, so i thought this is the right time. And people are comfortable to talk about their life at night because that time it was peaceful.

"I had one, but we broke up because long distance relationship is not something we wanted."

She spoke. Her face wasn't showing any expression.

"Thankgod.."

I whispered in my mouth. I don't want anyone to have her. She's getting closer to my heart and I am loving this.

"What about now?"

The words just suddenly came out of my mouth. But this is what my heart wanted to know.

"What do you mean?"

She turned to me and asked. Her eyebrows knitted. Damn she didn't understand what I asked.

"Relationship here!"

I settled on these two words. Not wanting to trigger her mind by putting so many words. The less words you use the more truth you get.

"I don't know..."

Doll looked down and said. I couldn't see the colour of her face like if she was blushing or just something else.

I touched her face through my knuckles softly and let it linger there. Her cold cheek felt like a silky kiss to my warm knuckles. Doll grabbed my hand and leaned her head on my palm to get the warmth.

Her eyes were closed. I took this moment as an opportunity to look at her lips. When I kissed those lips it tasted like a freshly ripped juice from a heavenly fruit. I didn't know when she opened her eyes and looking at mine.

But I just leaned further down to taste that heavenly fruit again without caring the about cost. My heart hauled in pure ecstacy when doll's cold lips started to move with me like she was also yearning for something.

It was that moment when we pulled apart her chest raising up and falling down I saw the adrenaline rush on her face. Doll pulled her bottom lips inside her mouth and looked straight at the sky.

I didn't wanted to disturb the silence either so I did the same. But then decided to look at her face. For me doll was not less than a moon. I put my thumb on the skin below her lips and gently moved it down to make her release her lips.

She looked at me throwing her head up on my bicep. Her expectant big eyes made me smile and I shook my head in no to indicate nothing.

My cellphone buzzed and when I checked, it was carter. I send him a text saying I will be there in an hour and sat straight. Even doll was now sitting in her place. Kissing her just below her lips, I looked in her eyes.

"You should sleep now... Its already late and guys are at my place waiting. Then I should be leaving"

Sky hummed as if she was in daze, I knew she was sleepy so I didn't took much of her time and gave her my hand to stand.

Placing my hand on her waist, I walked her to the back door and slowly opened it.

"You go... I'll just go and sleep."

She said pushing me on the chest. But I didn't budge and lift her up in my arms then walked to her room in a dim light of my cell.

After entering her room, I put her on the bed and tucked her in. She was already asleep. Thats fast. I left a toffee on her bedside table with a note eat me then kissing her one last time on the cheek I left.

Quietly sneeking out again, I walked to the hidden door of the backyard and stepped out. After crossing two blocks, I finally reach my motorcycle and started it to go to my place.

After 30 minutes I reached and went straight to the pool area. I was playing with the keys of my motorcycle when I looked at there faces. They were all looking pissed off which made my eyebrows drew together.

"What happen Kyle?"

I asked when he was pacing back and forth beside the pool and smoking like there is no tomorrow. He looked at my direction and walked to me.

"That fuckin Kaizo... He... He threatened us if we don't back down from the boxing club, he will..."

"He will what???"

I exploded.

"He will hurt Kylie and beat us... So that we can never be able to box"

"I don't care about him beating me but if dare touch Kylie I will kill him man... I will f*****g kill him."

He gritted out and threw the table with so much force that it went right into the pool and the beer on it smashed on the floor.

"He is gonna pay for this"

Sam said. He was leaning against the pillar. My eyes turned in his direction in madness and I said...

"He is gonna pay for this right now."

Saying that I took few steps back than turned to walk back inside the house. I heard them calling me and asking what I meant but I didn't pay any heed to them and ran on the stairs leading to my bedroom.

I pushed open the bedroom door and walked inside. Reaching the bed, I threw open the drawer and withdrew my brass knuckles and other gears. When I was wearing the bike mask and gloves, I heard others footsteps.

"What you plannin dude?"

Sam asked. I was already angry and his question is making me even more angry. Can't he see what I am doing and what I said.

"Gonna beat the s**t outta Kaizo"

I gritted out. Kyle agreed with me and we all walked out of the house to our motorcycles. After starting the motorcycle we revved through the drive way.

Kaizo spent his night at the underground boxing club. At the outskirts of the city. Kaizo goes to another school but he started picking on us after he lost the football match to Kyle. He f*****g hate my guts also.

I speeded the motorcycle to ignite the adrenaline rush in me. It felt like I was on the war against wind. Those streetlights were running past me.

Sam accelerate ahead of me and stopped his motorcycle on an empty alleyway. Right after him I parked mine and the rest of the guys followed behind. Chaining up my leather jacket I walked past everyone towards the boxing club.

I pushed open the heavy metal doors of the underground boxing club with a noise and the light from the inside kissed my shoes. My eyes searched for Kaizo and when it found him standing near the stage cheering his minion I took my first step towards him with an iron chair in my hand.
