"Hello mate."

"Hi Adam. I'm sorry about your shirt i'll pay for the dry cleaning. I'm late for a meeting I have to go."

I'm the world's clumsiest person ever. I always have to embarrass myself. I had a speech prepared for whenever I saw him. I wanted to tell him off, of course I chickened out making myself look like an i***t. I really needed to grow some balls. I continued walking towards the desk.

"Hello my name is Sarah Jones I'm here for the tech meeting."

"Right this way Miss Jones."

"I'm sorry I'm late. I ran into someone spilling my drink."

"It's ok. The boss is actually late."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome." She smiled. She was nice, I said to myself. I wonder why the boss is late.

"I hear the boss is hot."

"Yeah tall, dark, handsome, and rich. A good combination."

"I also hear he's a major player."

They kept going on about the boss, annoying the hell out of me. I was already irritated because I ran into Adam. Thank God he didn't notice I was pregnant, who knows what would have happened.

"Hi everyone, sorry I'm late I ran into someone and had a drink spilled on me." That voice… Please no... I looked up to see a pair of gray eyes. Oh f**k my life! What the hell is he doing here? I would give anything to slap that smirk off of his face.

“You’re all here to learn about new security methods. Someone hacked into our system...."

God will he shut up. I'm ready to go, I'm hungry, my feet hurt and I have to throw up. Whoever named it morning sickness should be shot. When did I become so violent?

"That's it you're all dismissed. Thanks for coming." I gathered my things and tried to leave unnoticed.

"Miss Jones stay behind please."

Damn I hate him. I got nervous, my heart rate sped up, what does he want? I hope he doesn't know. I glared at him. He shut the door and locked it. What is he doing? He walked over to me and put his hands on my waist. There goes those stupid tingles. I was getting hotter, he is so sexy... focus you hate him remember. Trying to sound bitchy I said.

"What is it Adam? I have somewhere to be." I failed, my voice came out as a whisper.

"How have you been love? I've missed you." He's not fooling me I know he doesn't.

"You have a mate! Now let me go I'm going to be late."

"What's so important that you can't talk to me for a few. Let's go to lunch."

"No thanks! I'm already meeting someone for lunch." His grip on my waist got tighter.

"Who are you meeting?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"None of your business. Please let go."

"A Guy?"

"Yes if you must know. I have to go I don't want to be late." Hey it's half of the truth. Me, Jen, and Jeff are going to lunch, but he doesn't have to know that. I got an idea. I'm going to make him jealous, maybe he will see how I feel when I hear about him and Kendra.

"Who is he? How long have you known him?" I played along. I was nervous because I’m not so good at this. I know it’s not good to piss off an alpha but oh well. He hurt me, it's time he feel my pain.

"A friend I met at the club two months ago." I said trying not laugh, it's working.

"Do you love him?" Yea I love Jeff, as a brother.

"Yes. He's nice, now I have to go." He was getting pissed. He was shaking and everything.

"You're hurting me let go."

"Did you sleep with him?" Yeah he held me when I was depressed and would stay over when Jenna couldn't.

"Yes many times, now let go." His eyes changed to black, that can't be good.

"YOU ARE MINE! YOU BELONG TO ME!" He growled in my face.

Ok, game over his wolf is taking over. He threw me over his shoulder and walked towards the elevator. Where the hell is Jen and Jeff? They better not be in the supply closet.

"What are you doing? Put me down you cave man! SOMEONE HELP!" I screamed. They looked at us. He growled and they went back to work. Damn him they must be wolves.

"JENN! JEFF! HELP!" They came out an office her hair all over the place.

"You pervs were supposed to have been waiting for me not screwing around. Help me he's crazy!"

"Adam put her down before she gets hurt." Jeff said.

"Mind your business Jeff! SHE'S MINE AND SHE'S COMING WITH ME." I started to cry. Being over someone's shoulder while pregnant is very uncomfortable.

"I'm not going anywhere with you now put me down!"

"No. You can't be trusted I have to watch over you." I was being an ass but it made me jealous that she was seeing someone. If I can't have her no one can she's my mate.

"Put her down you ass she's pregnant. Can't you see that she's hurting." She must have realized what she just said because she covered her mouth looking away guiltily. I'm going to kill her....
