Baby Vamp

1043 Words
It's still a few hours before my birthday, but my father informed me that in the vampire world, birthdays are celebrated at midnight rather than during the day. Although all of the necessary arrangements have been made, I have yet to speak with my father about the incident with Kira. Arisha entered my room 30 minutes after 6:00 p.m., carrying a dress covered in a transparent white bag. "How are you doing today?" "I was so afraid you were going to die the other night when you were lying lifeless on the ground," Arisha expressed her concern. "I'm well now. I don't feel any pain, which makes me wonder how I healed so quickly after falling into the rose flowers in the garden, leaving me with wounds all over my body," I murmured as I lay on my bed, exhausted. Arisha dropped the dress on a chair facing the mirror, and, excited, she said "Oh! Yes, your bodyguard carried you to bed and told me to sleep, so he must have cured you. " "What did he do?" I exclaimed as I rose, both hands on my head. . "Like he was carrying me?" I said as I sat down with a disappointed expression on my face. I exclaimed, "This is so silly." Arisha chuckled as she knelt in front of me, her hands on my lap, and said, "He did carry you and save you, which means you need to thank him even though it's his job." But he looks like he cares a lot about you. I wonder why he isn't the sort to be interested in a girl. "Thank heavens, because right now I can't imagine him and me ever being together, and if you mention him again, I'll have to take an additional bath tonight to remove his imprints," I replied. As I slid onto the opposite side of my bed, "If you say so, I'll leave so you can get some rest and remember to put on your outfit," she said, making her way out. "Are you coming?" I asked. She smiled and nodded, "My pleasure." "Goodnight, princess," she murmured as I closed my tired eyes. I'm not sure why I'm in pain, and I'm having trouble opening my eyes. Will I die? What exactly is it about me that makes me feel this way? I have no idea what's going on; my heart has stopped, my teeth have a sharp aching, and I have a sharp pain in my chest and eyes. I didn't seem to understand what I was going through, so I started screaming and rolling around in my bed. I doubt anyone heard me because everyone would have been waiting for me in the hall. Suddenly, all pain and agony vanished, and I awoke feeling like a newborn baby, unaware that the vampire gene in me had taken over my human DNA. I cautiously rose in front of the mirror, and to my horror, my eyes were red and I could see razor-sharp teeth. In my entire life, I've never felt more powerful than I do now. I go to the bathtub without panicking, but despite using hot water, I'm still cold, and my complexion turns pale like my father's. I stepped out of the tub and dried my hair and body before putting on the dress Arisha had left on the chair. I let my hair fall to my waistline and finished by applying bloody red lipstick to my lips before exiting the room to the hall. Jace* I got out of bed at midnight, ready to get ready for D-day. I wasn't sure if I was more excited about the party or seeing Laura again. I can't stop thinking about her, and all I want to do is show her how I feel by adopting her and displaying her to the rest of the world. I am the one who is impatient, knowing that something good will come my way; after all, she is my mate, and nothing can keep us apart. After a final inspection of my attire, I proceeded down the hall, where all of Vampriona's vampires had assembled. I sat down in a chair as Kira walked toward me; I'd never liked her before because she was always so self-centered. Kira and the rest of the people think she's the one for me. "Hey Jace, you look lovely tonight," she said as she sat in the chair next to mine, her hands on my chest. I didn't like how close she was to me, so I said, "Please excuse me," standing up to meet Luca. "Why hasn't Laura arrived yet?" I reasoned that it was already past midnight. I reasoned "Don't worry, she'll be here soon," I said, but then I noticed Zack approaching where I was standing with Luca. "Look who is so daring to go amongst his predators," I slapped him across the back. "I have nothing to fear," he murmured as he looked at me. I laughed and raised my hands in the air. "Oh, my good lord! "We don't mind if you behave normally and don't cause any problems"... "I see you two are getting along fine." "It's a good thing because my daughter is going to need it," Luca said as he walked away from us to address the guests. I'm guessing Kira was talking to Serena about something she was disappointed about, and I'm guessing it was about their troubles. After a long wait, it was 1 a.m., and everyone was tired of waiting for Luca to publicly declare that the celebration would not begin without his daughter. Suddenly, the hall door opened wide, revealing a stunning Laura, but something about the way she walked and even held her head high confused me. I examined her from her black shoes to her red high-sided gown, which revealed all of her curves; they were flawless; her lips were crimson red, matching her pale skin, which seemed unusual; and then I noticed her eyes, and it dawned on me that she had turned into a vampire. "Master, you were right, she does have your blood," I said brightly. Luca stared at me perplexed, then back at his daughter, before realizing what had happened.
