I dashed out of the portal and toward where other dead bodies had been discovered. They were found in a derelict building, far from the public. "Tell me what's going on here," I demanded of Jaxton, who had arrived at the scene sooner than me.
"They were discovered naked when I arrived, your highness," Jaxton said as I neared the bodies. When the examiners spotted me, they all lowered their heads and removed the clothes that had been used to cover the bodies of the dead.
"When the dead were discovered, they were severely damaged. This time, it wasn't just humans, but also a vampire," The examiner explained as I glanced at the bodies.
