The pungent smell I detected as I went out of my purple portal with Jaxton was overwhelming, making me want to leave, but I couldn't because I needed to find out what my brother had done to the humans. According to Jaxton, they were discovered at our border, which proves that either my brother has a spy who provides him with information on the vampire realm or he is doing everything he can to break into the vampire realm.
