Bryce noticed something was wrong and asked, "What's wrong?"
Teresa hit the brake several times and determined that the brake had failed. However, there was a viewing lake in front of her, and the car was driving slowly toward the lake.
Bryce frowned and urged, "Tap the brakes!"
"It doesn't work!" Teresa unfastened the seat belt and opened the car door. She waved at Bryce to let him step aside so that she could jump out of the car.
Unexpectedly, after listening to her shouts, Bryce grabbed her arms without hesitation and directly pulled her out of the car! The two rolled on the soft grass by the side of the road. Inevitably, the wound on Bryce's shoulder was opened again.
Hearing him cry out in pain, Teresa quickly got up and helped him up too. "Are you okay?"
