Teresa noticed something was wrong. She hurried over to hold Zach's arm and shouted, "Don't be silly!" But it was too late. Zach had already pounced on Bryce.
"Stupid!" Bryce sneered, handling his attack with ease.
Teresa stood to the side and shouted at them in a panic, trying to stop them but to no avail.
She reached out to pull them away but was pushed against the wall again.
Teresa felt pain as she watched them fight each other. She didn't know why Zach, who was usually gentle and calm, became so irrational today. She was moved yet felt sorry for him.
