1154 Words
"No..." Teresa lowered her head and whispered, her face flushed. "What do you want to talk about last night, Ms. Haze?" His aggressiveness made Teresa stiff, "Mr. Brolin, I'm sorry... Last night, I, I..." She wanted to explain but found that she couldn't. In the end, she had to apologize again, "I'm really sorry." But Bryce was not dissatisfied and continued to touch her raw nerve. He teased her in a cold voice again, "Are you apologizing for lying under me last night and asking me for more over and over again?" Teresa felt her heart almost stop with shame when she heard his words. "I still remember the way you cried and begged me in my arms, Ms. Haze. You didn't stop groaning and asking me for more and more. I've never had such an amazing experience before." Bryce got closer to her and tailed off. Teresa didn't dare to move. She closed her eyes and began to tremble slightly. However, he pinched her chin and stared into her eyes, "It turns out that Ms. Haze is just a slut like other women. Did I give your the best orgasm in your life?" Teresa couldn't bear his humiliation anymore. She slapped Bryce's hand away in embarrassment and shouted, "Enough, Mr. Brolin!" She got out of his arms and took a deep breath before she defended herself, "I did that because I was drugged last night. All this shouldn't have happened yesterday. I have apologized to you. Why do you have to force me and hurt me like this?" She was a victim, but now she had to apologize to him, the perpetrator. It felt so bad that she found it hard to vent her anger. "Besides, you are not innocent either!" After saying that, Teresa wanted to walk away. But she was stopped by the voice behind her again. "I'm not innocent, so I don't want your apology. But you should thank me." Teresa paused. She didn't turn around. Her voice was a little colder, "I remember that I thanked you for saving my life yesterday, Mr. Brolin." What else did this man want from her! "Not just this," Bryce chuckled and then said something crueler, "If it wasn't for me last night, Ms. Haze, you might have rushed out without hesitation. Maybe when you wake up again, you might find yourself being surrounded by a group of homeless men. Don't you want to thank me for this?" His humiliation made Teresa clench her fists until her knuckles whitened. She gritted her teeth with tears in her eyes, and after a while, she finally said, "Well then, thank you so much, Mr. Brolin!" Bryce curled up his lips into a grin and sat leisurely on the sofa, watching the prey being cornered. Suddenly, he felt an inexplicable sense of satisfaction running in his heart. "You're welcome, Ms. Haze. After all, it was a good experience even for me. Next time you need me again, Ms. Haze, you can come to me anytime. I will be very happy to serve you again." After he finished speaking, he licked his lips with the tip of his tongue as if he could still taste her smell. "As for money, you should hurry up, Ms. Haze. After tasting someone like you, I will become more impatient." What responded to him was a loud slam on the door. Teresa returned to her car. She slapped the steering wheel hard over and over again, but it couldn't make herself feel any better. Suddenly, her phone buzzed. Teresa picked it up and saw that it was Scott's call. How dare this bastard call her again?! Teresa glared at the name without pressing the answer button. Very soon, Scott hung up the phone and sent a long text message, saying that he had paid off the debt so she could rest assured; and that he owed her an apology for what happened yesterday. If Scott had known that Teresa knew Bryce, he wouldn't dare to do that to Teresa. Scott also begged Teresa to put a few good words for him in front of Bryce. He was willing to cooperate with Teresa in the future. If Teresa was still angry with Scott, Scott personally would come to her to apologize. Teresa felt so sick that she almost threw her phone. She didn't want his apology at all! There was no way for that bastard to make up for what happened yesterday. Teresa stared coldly at the message with rage. It was all this Scott Johnson's fault, and she didn't plan to spare him! Teresa also knew that she had to find a way to settle the debt between her and Bryce immediately, and it couldn't be delayed any longer. After thinking for a while, she made up her mind, cleared her throat, and made a call. "Hey, Zach, it's me. It should be night in America, right? Have I disturbed you? Well... I'm fine. I just had a little trouble recently. If you are available, could you do me a favor?" After making the call, Teresa let out a long sigh of relief and tossed the phone aside. After sitting in a daze for a while, she laid down on the steering wheel and cried out in a low voice. What the hell did she do to meet such a devil?! Half an hour later, Teresa sorted out herself and drove to the nearest pharmacy to get some morning-after pills. After swallowing the pill, she went back to her bakery for work as if nothing had happened. At last, she returned to her apartment. She took a shower first, washing her body thoroughly. Afterward, Teresa lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. She had to accept what had happened and tried her best to prevent herself from becoming pregnant. But she still couldn't do anything to Bryce. Thinking of this, she felt her heart sink. She pulled the quilt and buried herself in the quilt in despair. When she woke up again, she casually made something to eat and sleepwalked through the day. Fortunately, there was nothing important to deal with today, and she finally calmed down and adjusted herself a bit. In the early morning, she changed to a more energetic look and returned to her usual unruffled self again. She forced a smile to cheer herself up before going out. While waiting for the elevator, she checked her phone and found a text message from an unknown number. The content of the message was simple and clear, which was saying that Gary Mintz was in a hotel room with a woman. Attached to the message where the hotel's name and a room number. Gary Mintz was Teresa's boyfriend. Teresa was not surprised that Gary would cheat on her because it was a matter of time. She just didn't expect that she would be informed in this way.
