"Wear this Lily," Cameron handed me a clean shirt from the driver seat. She let me borrow her extra shirt since i was all wet and dirty because of the cola. We are currently inside her car and I'm at the back so i have all the space to change. "Here is the wet wipes so you can clean yourself too." I silently took the shirt and wet wipes from her. Cameron is acting like nothing happened though. She can still smile and laugh but her eyes says otherwise. "Thank you," I told her, a little precarious. "Cameron im really sorry," This is my fault, im the one to blame. Cameron looked at me over her shoulder with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Please don't be," End of conversation. Since i don't even know what else to say. "I... I will change now but..." "What's wrong?" Cameron asked curiously. "Because..." My face reddened in predicament. Wait, How can i tell her that im not comfortable changing clothes if someone sees me. "You are here," "Oh, I'm sorry Lily," Cameron apologized as she opened the door. "I will just wait for you outside," I watched her sit on the hood of her car, facing the lonely school parking lot. I quickly took my shirt off, grabbed a wet wipes and started cleaning myself. When im all clean, i put Cameron's shirt on. It feels weird but nice to wear something that belongs to her. The shirt and car are both smell like Cameron, sexy. Agh. I should not have thought this way especially in this kind of situation. Bad Lily. I took a deep breath before getting out the car and walked towards Cameron. Without noise, i stood next to her but she seems in a deep thought. Heck, Even the famous painter in the history won't be able to describe her subtle face right now. But like what i did to Leslie, i will respect Cameron's privacy as well. We just watched the branches of the trees sway through the wind as some lonely leaves fell on ground. "This is so relaxing," Cameron murmured after a minute or two, completely enjoying the fresh air. "So quite and peaceful," "Indeed," I agreed. "The air makes me feel sleepy," Cameron chortled as she slowly turned to me with halfhearted smile. "So you are kind of person who fall asleep easily?" "Yeah especially after eating," I joked. But you know joke is halt meant. I scanned her face, it's inscrutable and her eyes helds riddle and mystery. Also there is a sad smile on her lips. "Mmm.. Are you okay?" "Yeah," Those green eyes were darkened by misery. "I was just surprised," The wind blew hard makes our hair stumbled upon our shoulders. "All i thought Aerin and I are just friends, best friends and sisters. Yes ,we used to fool around because i thought.." She could not even finished her words in dismay. "And she is freaking Grey's ex girlfriend," Poor Grey. I thought. He is surrounded by lesbians. Even her ex girlfriend Aerin used him as a cover up with her own feelings. Why do we always like someone who don't like us back? Why can't we break this bad habit of wanting what we cannot have? Wouldn't it be so much easier to like someone who actually liked you too? "I honestly don't know what to say Cameron," I told her in all honestly. Like her, i felt complicted too. "But i think you guys have to talk about it, to settle everything in the right place." "Don'r worry, we will." Cameron sigh and closed her eyes for a moment. More like releasing some stress. "Anyway," This made me look at her. "Do you want to eat?" "What?" I asked confused. Well, i guess she really changed the subject which understandable. "Eat? Food?" From sadnesss, Cameron's beautiful face lit up. The word food has an incredible effect on us like magic. It can change our mood with a snap of a fingers. "I haven't eaten since breakfast Lily," She scratched her eyebrow. "Now im really starving," I don't know where are we going to eat but Cameron ensured me that i will like the place. I'm not picky eater so i will be fine. After almost ten minutes we arrived in front of a restaurant. There are few people inside when we came in and i couldn't explain the smell coming from the kitchen. Cameron helped me to sit down like a true woman she is and here i am feeling pretty. "I will just order food," I watched her walked away as people turned their heads to take a glimpsed of Cameron. I couldn't blame them though because her beauty is really captivating and no one can resist especially with her cheerleading uniform that completely exposed how erogenous she is. While waiting for Cameron to come back i make myself busy looking around the restaurant. I still don't know what kind of restaurant is this. There was a flat screen TV near the counter, wooden spoon and fork hanging against the wall, calendar and some posters of famous people like Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat dolls, Vanessa Hudgens, Bruno Mars, Hailee Steinfeld and many more. "I got our food!" Cameron suddenly appeared next to me and excitedly put food in our table. "They are all my favorite Lily and i want you to try them," "Mmm. What kind of food are these?" I asked completely curious while looking in my plate. Cameron smile so bright as she sat down across me. "Well Lily," She grabbed a fork and pointed the food in her plate. "This is fried rice, a cured beef and friend egg. It's called Tapsilog." "Wait, a what?" My frown deepened. "Taposog?" Cameron laughed and shakes her head at me. "Tap-si-log," I took a deep breath before saying what Cameron just said. "Tap-si-sog" "Let just eat," Cameron told me in defeat. "Oh wait, this is," She pointed to the other plate. It's chicken with black sauce. Looks yummy though. "Is chicken adobo," I have no idea what chicken adobo is, this is honestly the very first time i heard about that food. Is that even good? "We are here in Philippine restaurant Lily," Cameron infromed me as she looked around. "You see those posters?" I nodded my head as we both looking around. "They are filipino american," We started eating and trust me the food is so delicious especially the fried rice it has a lot garlic, the cursed beef is so tender and most of all the chicken adobo tasted like heaven, the chicken melts in my mouth. No wonder why Cameron chose here, she has a body of a girl but stomach of a man. She eats like a starving soldier who just came from a mission. "How did you know this place?" I asked Cameron after we ate but still sitting. My tummy is huge like a pregnant woman. Cameron tore her eyes away from the TV and looked straight at me. "I saw about this restaurant in a blog two years ago, the review was terrific and the photos seduced me to tasted them. I told myself that why not try it? Since im too tired eating pizza, tacos etc." "So do you always come here to eat?" "Not really," She replied without blinking an eye. "Only when i crave for adobo," I think me too, will surely come back here if not with Cameron then with my parents. I wanted them to try something new. We left the restaurant with smile on our faces and happy tummy. While driving, Cameron won't stop singing, i was just there sitting pretending to be a deaf because her voice is horrible. It did not took awhile when we arrived at school. Students are starting to leave since there is no class, they would prefer to go somewhere than here. "Thank you for the treat," I told Cameron as we stared at each other for a moment. "And good luck tomorrow," Cameron smiled, showing my her white and perfect set of teeth. "Welcome Lily," She took a few steps forward, making my heart beats a little faster. Cameron is only one step away from me. "Are you going to watch tomorrow?" She tucked the loss hair behind my ear. "Because i would really appreciate if you come," "Ye-yeah, we are going to watch." I said, stuttering like an i***t. "We?" Cameron asked with a meaningful looks. "With Leslie, she actually invited me this morning," I replied. The thought of Leslie makes me smile. I was wondering where she is right now though. She just disappeared like bubbles before i got an argument with Aerin. "So yeah, I'll be there." Cameron just stared at me, her lips moved as if she was going to say something but decided against it. I sigh in relief when she stepped back and forced herself to smile. "Where is your car?" She asked me instead. "I don't have my car," My eyes narrowed down. "It broke down in the middle of the street this morning and good thing Leslie was there," Cameron just nodded her head. "Well then i will drop you off, come on." My smile grew bigger. People are very kind to offer me a ride. "Thank you but can i just get my thing in my locker first?" "Sure," Cameron shrugged. We are just quiet as we marched down the hallway, some students were looking at us. Probably talking about what happened earlier. "Don't pay attention to them just walk Lily," I immediately grabbed my thing when i arrived at my locker when something caught my eye. It's Leslie. She is walking towards us but she looks like she got in a fight. I have a strong feeling that something bad happened to her. "Leslie..." I whispered her name before running to her, totally ignoring Cameron screamed behind me. "Leslie!" This time Leslie stopped but didn't look at me. "Hey, are you-" My dropped on the floor when i noticed some bruises on her face and her lips. "Oh gosh what happened to you!?" "N-nothing," Leslie whispered really lowly and i almost couldn't hear it. "I don't believe you," I told her with a shake of my head. "Look at you!" Worries and fear written all over my face while gazing at Leslie from her to toes. "Tell me Leslie what happened!" "Lily nothing happened.." She sounded weak and irritated. I noticed that she was trying to hide her right arm. "What is that?" Leslie stepped back. "You don't have to kno-" I grabbed her hand that she was trying to hide from me. Blood drained from my face when i saw her right hand bleeding. "What did you do?" Leslie didn't moved a finger. "Did you get in a fight?" "What happened Leslie?" It was Cameron. Leslie's jaw tightened as she stared hard on Cameron then to me. Her eyes were burning in madness. "Yes," She choked in her own words. "I got in a fight with Aerin," My legs felt jelly. "What...." "Where is she?" Cameron asked confused. Instead of answering, Leslie just hung her head low. I felt worse because this was all happening because of me. "Take her to the clinic Lily and i will look for Aerin. Agh! That girl!" But before i could stop Cameron, she is already gone and went somewhere. When i returned my attention back to Leslie. Without words, i held her trembling hand and laced our fingers together as i pulled her towards the bathroom. Leslie sat at the sink counter while i grabbed a tissue and wet them so i can clean Leslie's wounded hand. "You should not do that Leslie," I started talking, more like scolding her. You can't blame me though. I was so worried. "Whatever the reason is," "But the reason is you.." Leslie answered. I could still hear the anger in her voice. "When i heard what that b***h did to you," Her hand balled in anger. "I could not stop my rage when I saw her," I stopped cleaning her hand as i looked up at her, scanning every details of her beautiful face. "I'm sorry that.." The only words i said and narrowed my eyes down in guilt. "This happened to you but please never hurt yourself again," She put two fingers in my chin and slowly lifted my face up so we are eye to eye. Something is wrong inside my stomach, it feels weird. "You don't have to say sorry, you didn't do anything wrong Lily." My lips parted in awe. "Just so you know, i would do anything for you because..." Leslie gently pressed her forehead against mine with my heart racing as if i was running for life. "Just because." Just because.
